Mahalo nui, not only for and from me personally, but hopefully others can begin a journey to incorporate hawaiian culture in their lives - while at the same time keeping the culture alive for the future and the world at large.
Mahalo Nui for this immersion Ōlelo journey. I am excited by this course since even tho I live here in the islands in Keauhou Kona I find it difficult to practice my Hawaiian 🌺 Ōlelo with others.
Very good, thanks a lot,I want to learn Hawaiian,I am learning Māori all the languages of pacific islands are related,it is like the same people went to all the islands, from Samoa,Hawái rapanui, and all have similar customs.thanks I will see all the classes
Q: If you're a mainlander and move to Hawaii...would trying to learn "too much Hawaiian" be considered disrespectful or respectful. If we truly want to learn because we're truly interested. And we're not of Hawaiian descent. Or should some one new to the islands just learn a few commonly used words like "Mahalo"?
Good evening. I think the google translator is not treating the Hawaiian language well. What do you think about it? I am a student from Brazil and I am starting studying Hawaiian language and I am noticing some different words.
