This was totally heartwarming - nothing but LOVE between everyone in this video. I absolutely loved how the young men approached Tal, and bought him something to eat....so welcoming, and then he was rescued by Tariq who was quite simply "awesome" so welcoming and gracious - I totally loved how he very patiently and with such passion shared his religion and community with Tal. Keep going brother - this was awesome!

Your new freind, Tariq, was so well-spoken and soft-spoken too. Love the positivity from your videos. You're a gem! I was waiting for you to show the congregational prayer at the end. Any reason why you didn't?
Greetings from Australia. I'm going to visit the Middle East in a few months and this plus your other videos have given me greater insight. This one stood out though with you learning a lot about the Bedouin and Muslim culture and showing great interest and respect. It gave me a greater understanding too. Keep up the good work.

I witnessed a altercation between Palestinian and Bedouin kids in a mall in Beersheva. Each group evidently considered itself distinct from the other and not the same people.
I have to say you did an amazing job it is a tremendous honor for Muslim people for non-muslims to ask about the religion in a respectful manner. You did so with the exact amount of inquisitiveness and respect that is expected of Outsiders. I am not a religious person myself even though I was born Jewish however I think that if we treat each other with respect that is the first step toward peace. The problem with the Palestinians is they value oftentimes a narrative that it seems to me they place ahead of even their religion.
@@n.batshevay.7009 I think that's what he said. Muslims are very proud Qur'an is not changed, in Arabic. However I've seen documentaries about how in Saudi Arabia and Iran they add things in parenthesis to translated versions of Qur'an, which in theory is actually haram because they're modifying the scriptures. Also, some Muslims (Shia from what I understand) say that in ancient times Qur'an was modified by the Caliphs.
@andiehernandez1995 That is a misunderstanding. Kinda European based. The Quran has several was it can be recited but it's still the same language. It's just a difference in dialects from other regions. Like saying tomato or tomatoe... It is permissible to add commentary to the translations. As a matter of fact the Quran that non Muslims think of, with the translations is considered just that. A side by side translation. The all Arabic one is called the Mushaf and is the actual Quran that you cannot read without wudu/ablution etc... anti Islamic scholars purposely twist or leave out the details to try to disclaim the unaltered text of the Mushaf.

Interesting Quran facts: - The most mentioned prophet by name in Quran is Moses (Musa in Arabic). He is mentioned 136 times. Abraham (Ibrahim in Arabic) comes next at 68 times. While Muhammad is mentioned 4 times. Peace be upon them all. - The longest chapter in Quran is named Al-baqara (an Arabic word meaning The cow). This chapter has many topics/themes, and one of them is a story of prophet Moses and the Israelites and in which he asked them to slaughter a "cow". And of course, the "cow" story is mentioned together with lessons from it.
The prayer direction area is called the Qibla. And yes, there are stories of Adam, Noah, Lot, Abraham, David, Solomon, Jesus, Jacob, Joseph, Moses - peace be upon all of them - in the Qur'an in the form of parables.

@@mikidias Thank you so much. I was interested in the prayers themselves, is there somewhere they can be looked up in English? They must be in English, as there are converts that don't read Arabic all around the world, I doubt that them reading transliterated prayers into English count for anything, as they wouldn't understand them.
@@shainazion4073 Salah (or prayers) is done in Arabic as a rule. This includes the Quran recitations, and certain supplications done at different positions during the prayer. Practicing Muslims, arabs and non-arabs alike, begin to learn them right from childhood. For example, I'm a muslim from Nigeria and although I don't speak arabic conversationally, I have a basic understanding of the supplications and even some Qur'anic passages I recite during prayer. Admittedly, this isn't true for all people. But even non arab practicing Muslims who don't understand the supplications know what they're supposed to say. Besides, there are tons of books, and lots of online apps and resources easily available for anyone willing enough to learn. As for converts, they aren't required to learn everything at once because that'll be too overwhelming. So, it's usually done in stages, from a very simplified and basic stage, learning more gradually, to a more advanced stage. That's how we were taught growing up. A new convert to Islam would only need to learn the basics, Surah Fatiha (the opening passage) like Tariq mentioned, and very few other supplications for his/her prayer to be adequate. There are also positions during the prayer where one is allowed to add one's own personal supplications in one's own words and language, but this is usually done silently. Hope this helped a bit. 💚

@@TheTravelingClatt Tal, in this video you asked a very important question that I don't think I've heard anyone ask before. You asked, do we (Arabs) expect the same hospitality from people in European countries. The answer is: no, we don't. We carry this part of our culture with us, so even when we're in a European country, we try to be hospitable even though we're the guests. The beauty of hospitality and generosity is that they're not bound by geography, and we honestly hope that people on the receiving end of our hospitality would see the value in it and adopt it as part of their own personal culture as well. You see, there is a secret about hospitality that European countries seem to have forgotten about, and it's that hospitality pays off more often than it does not. When you're being generous to others, life somehow always finds a way to pay it back! As always, great video Tal.

Mohammed, (PBUH) was much more familiar with Judaism and borrowed much from the Jewish traditions. He married a wealthy Jewess and eventually was poisoned by one of his Jewish girlfriends. So there is a history there. Christians were present and Mohammed borrowed from their beliefs but like many cult leaders, he could not respect their passive nature or the concept of martyrdom with forgiveness. Many Christians were slaughtered by Mohammed and the women and children taken as sex slaves. That history remains unresolved but many Moslems are converting to Christianity after they understand the differences. Judaics in the Middle East have much more in common with Arab Moslems but there is also historical conflicts.

For example : the Quran speaks about the king 1. Abraham time : Malik/king 2. Yusuf time : Malik/ king 3. Musa time : Firaun In the 19th century we discover that only at the beginning of Musa Time the term Firaun describe the King; before that time Firaun was not used to describe the king , the meaning was the great house . The Quran is the only religion book that is 100% preserved because we Muslims have the responsibility to learn the whole quran by heart. Israel - Defenseless against Smiles It has been nearly six months since the conclusion of Operation Guardian of the Walls, the latest round in the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. On the surface, things have been quite calm since then. But nothing is ever truly quiet in the Middle East. Israel's enemies have gotten smarter and understood that they can destroy Israel much faster and without firing a single shot by simply smiling and pretending to want peace. Because we feel we always feel guilty of some sin, we fall for anyone who gives us a friendly smile, even if we know there is a knife behind their backs. That's just the way we are; the smartest people on the planet are absolute fools when it comes to matters that really matter. Our enemies across the Gaza border have learned their lesson. Through diplomacy and pressure on various political entities, they raise funds and promote government decisions in Israel that enable them to take over the country from within. Their ultimate goal has not changed. They strive to rid the country of Jews. The only thing that has changed is how they intend to achieve that goal. They have realized that they cannot defeat us on the battlefield, so they will fight us with words and smiles instead of guns and rockets. Israelis, who always feel they have to justify their existence, cannot resist a non-Jew smiling at them. It is an affirmation that "we are OK." Even if the knife is hidden in plain sight, we do not want to see it and believe in the sincerity of our "partner." Because we always feel guilty, indebted to the world, we are utterly gullible and all our business skills and acumen fly out the window as soon as someone eases our perpetual guilt trip. There is no cure for this malignant folly except to understand why we feel guilty and what we should do about it. Every Jew feels deep inside that we Jews owe something to the world, and that sensation causes us to make mistakes. Therefore, we must understand the nature of our debt, which is really quite simple: We must stop setting an example of division and mutual derision, and instead become a model of mutual responsibility and love of others. Over the generations, we have given numerous "gifts" to the world. Jews have been responsible, in whole or in part, for the development of almost every ideology, religion, and technology over the past two millennia. Yet the world has not been grateful. The only legacy that the world truly sees as meritorious is our social legacy, which advocates mutual responsibility and love of others to the point that one loves one's neighbor as oneself. Everyone agrees that these ideas are commendable. However, everyone equally agrees that they are unachievable because human nature is evil to the core. This is where the justification for our existence comes in. The Jews are the ones who must prove that "Love your neighbor as yourself" is not a lost cause, but an achievable goal. If we demonstrate the merits of love of othe rs in our own society, the world will not doubt our right to exist as a sovereign nation. On the contrary, it will preserve and cherish our sovereignty since it will see in us an example to follow, and it will want to learn from our example. The future of our country does not depend on sophisticated defense systems. These are necessary for the time being. For a permanent solution, the guardian of our wall can only be our unity, our love for one another. It will protect us not because it deters others, but because it brings them closer to us and shows how they, too, can acquire today's most required commodities: mutual responsibility and love of others.

I absolutely loved how the young men approached Tal, and bought him something to eat....so welcoming, and then he was rescued by Tariq who was quite simply "awesome" so welcoming and gracious - I totally loved how he very patiently and with such passion shared his religion and community with Tal. Just before 20:00 you ask what the front end of the mosque is called. The direction of the Ka'ba is called the qibla, while the prayer niche in front that the imam stands in is called the mihrab.
May Allah bless you both, especially brother Tariq. Very nice video!
Your new freind, Tariq, was so well-spoken and soft-spoken too. Love the positivity from your videos. You're a gem! I was waiting for you to show the congregational prayer at the end. Any reason why you didn't?

I have to say you did an amazing job it is a tremendous honor for Muslim people for non-muslims to ask about the religion in a respectful manner. You did so with the exact amount of inquisitiveness and respect that is expected of Outsiders. I am not a religious person myself even though I was born Jewish however I think that if we treat each other with respect that is the first step toward peace. The problem with the Palestinians is they value oftentimes a narrative that it seems to me they place ahead of even their religion.
Agreed
I noticed guy said no letter changed in " qaran" since ..500 years ago as in other religions " did I misheard something or that's what he said?

As someone who studied Arabic my dudes translation is off, and I don't blame him it's hard.
But this is the correct translation of the prayer he mentioned as the first prayer
In the name of God, the infinitely Compassionate and Merciful.
Praise be to God, Lord of all the worlds.
The Compassionate, the Merciful. Ruler on the Day of Reckoning.
You alone do we worship, and You alone do we ask for help.
Guide us on the straight path,
the path of those who have received your grace;
not the path of those who have brought down wrath, nor of those who wander astray.
Amen.
And this is the prayer they say when on their knees
O god, let Your mercy come upon Muhammed and the family of Muhammed as You let it come upon Abraham and the family of Abraham O God bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Abraham. and the family of Abraham. Truly You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.

maybe not with Western Christianity, but with Coptic Orthodox the similarity is striking.
Brother tarik done great Masha'allah. Lovely video.
Rahat seems like a lovely town. More travel vloggers should visit the smaller cities in Israel and Palestine.
Interesting Quran facts:
- The most mentioned prophet by name in Quran is Moses (Musa in Arabic).
Loved the video

I personally can't tell you the numbers of Raqqah and Sujjud of each Salat subsequently, but, I do can tell you that Fajr (morning Salah prayer) it's the shortest one (shortest Salah) 🙏🏻
Also, the Maghrib Salah (afternoon /sunset prayer 🌆 🌅) is short...
The rest of them all (rest of the Salat prayers) are longer, much longer....
And, finally...., then, you have the Sunnah prayers (voluntary prayers, not mandatory!!) like Tarawih, etc...
Again, I repeat it.... Sunnah Salat prayers are NOT mandatory, but, only voluntary prayers.... (it's believed to give "Barakah" - which means Holy blessings 🤲🏻 😇)
Haha, hilarious interaction with the young boys, love that hug @6:50 You are welcome and much loved wherever you go.
Keep up the good work

Man this guy… The Quran mentiones Moses (PBUH) more times than any other Prophet… Mohammed (PBUH) is from the Ishmaelite tribe, more specifically Kedar, prophecien in Isaiah 42:10-11
Are the Hasamites decendants of Muhammad?
Irrelevant! What does that have to do with anything??! The covenant with Abraham includes Ishmael and Isaac. Genesis25:13 “Here is a list, by their names and clans, of Ishmael's descendants: The oldest was Nebaioth, followed by Kedar, Adbeel, …”
Ishmael’s descendants are of the Arabs. The brethren of Israelites = Ishmaelites (Jews didn’t expect that), who Moses is talking about in Deuteronomy 18:18… Isaiah 42 is about this prophet, verse 11 mentiones the Kedarites and Mt Sela in Medina
Jesus is prophecien in Psalm 91, it’s referenced to be about him in Mathew 4:6 and Hebrews 5:7… Jesus was sent to the Israelites, thats why he addresses them with the most important comandment and thats what he says to his desciples when the Canaanite woman was chasing him!
I know all about that and that's irrelevant to me all iasked was a question.

If Quran and the Torah are The Holy words of G-D then why are the stories of Yosef’s are different?
The Word of Allah subhana watallah to Musa, peace and blessing upon him, are not preserved. If the Quran speak about the Thora, so that is the Words of Allah directly to Musa alaihi wasalam. Here are a nice and respectful conversation between a Jew and a Muslim about this topic m.ruclips.net/video/kKviK80NYiM/видео.html&pp=ygUTTXVzbGltIGxhbnRlcm4gamV3IA%3D%3D
For example : the Quran speaks about the king 1. Abraham time : Malik/king 2. Yusuf time : Malik/ king 3. Musa time : Firaun
In the 19th century we discover that only at the beginning of Musa Time the term Firaun describe the King; before that time Firaun was not used to describe the king , the meaning was the great house . The Quran is the only religion book that is 100% preserved because we Muslims have the responsibility to learn the whole quran by heart. Even regard Sunni or Shia : there is one Quran; if the imam who lead the prayer would make a mistake during reciting there will be worshipper behind him who will correct the imam .

Israel - Defenseless against Smiles
It has been nearly six months since the conclusion of Operation Guardian of the Walls, the latest round in the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
If we demonstrate the merits of love of othe
rs in our own society, the world will not doubt our right to exist as a sovereign nation.
