- Remove chrome layer off tail lights and black them out.
2nd gen Nissan Titan. 2017 SV.
I used Goo Gone Oven and Grill Cleaner. It's worked great.
Paper towels
Distilled water
Hair dryer
Phillips Screw driver
I would wear gloves. The liquid dried my hands out a little. - Спорт
Great vid. I did my tail lights today and worked like a charm. I should have worn gloves though. My hands are super dry now.
Awesome video just got a 2017 as well!
It’s zep industrial purple degreaser from Home Depot or Lowe’s but get the gallon that says 25% stronger. Doing mine as we speak coming out amazing just trying to get the water out
How bright is the reverse light without the chrome?
I couldn’t find the exact stuff you used. I’ve tried 3 different degreasers and it got most of it but been working on a couple spots of chrome that just won’t come out. Guess I’m gonna have to find that goo gone
2021 sv done ty
It works!!!
Hey
Just a quick question
we have the same year and model Titan
when i turn on my head lights
i got no lights at the back and wondering which bulb should i replaced ?
thanks in advance Ben
Where can I see finished product???
Does this work to any make like toyota tundra.. everybody uses vht nightsade..
Nice job. I would like to know if you have tried it in the headlight? I have a pro4x and I am assuming I wouldn’t be able to do that with the LED daytime light strip that is in there. I hate the chrome in mine as well! Nice job!
I wouldn't touch the headlights. I'm guessing the Chrome is needed for reflecting purposes for headlights.
Could you make a video using it on the head lamps dealeting the chrome of those. Could it work?
NO, I would not recommend doing that
How bright are the lights without the chrome?
Did you have to use LED bulbs after this mod?
Did you have any problems with water not wanting to come out?
Did this affect the brightness of your brake lights in the daytime?
Yes it does. I am dealing with this issue now. My brake lights aren't visible during the day...
@@danielpartain8910Wait. Isn't being able to see brake lights kind of important?
I've tried 3 different degreasers and none of them work
