I feel bad for NY American citizens.
I don’t, they voted for this. What I do love seeing though is how everyone in AOC’s district are turning their backs on her. New Yorkers always bounce back, it’ll survive
You outta feel bad for all of 🇺🇸🤐👍

Counties should absolutely have a say in whether or not they want to intake migrants.
They have difficulties? Its difficulties they chose. What was their plan once here? Their plan was and is for citizens to pay for their lifestyle. We have single mothers who are homeless or in the process of being evicted. There’s no help for them but we provide a free lifestyle for people who broke into our country and are braking every law we have. They know they won’t be arrested and deported because for some reason they are protected. They get anything they ask for Clothing, shoes, healthcare, phones and now apartments and homes at our expense while we struggle. Where’s our assistance? They demand and the city provides.
No one is entitled to your vote. Look at who is running locally and state level and see what they support. New Yorkers claim to not like these policies but vote the same way.
These immigrants are facing the same thing all immigrants faced. My grandparents came over 1908, no language skills, no one put them up anywhere, no one found them a job. They lived in boarding houses or tenements 4 or 5 to a room.Nothing's changed... They were not given any interpreters for their language. They had to learn English and they did, their children fought in World War 2 after they lived through the depression. All all immigrants have had it tough. These ones have a little bit easier. They're being put up, being fed, given medical attention, their children are being educated.
I wonder if the Venezuelans lived a worse life or similar life in their country? Did their children go to school? Were they begging in the streets? We should know how they lived because living like they do in the US doesn't seem any better.
Even if they work, they can't afford NYC. The most expensive city in the US.
I live in nyc and think we should be two different states that way upstate can finally have a voice. Maybe we keep New York n yall take Albany?
No one cares
