Deze Brit uit Californië is al zijn hele leven een groot bewonderaar van Vincent van Gogh. En in tegenstelling tot Van Gogh is de 810-jarige David Hockney bij leven wél succesvol. Hij is nu zij-aan-zij te zien met zijn grote idool in het Van Gogh Museum.

This is what I love the most about Hockney, his endless passion. It doesn’t matter if he is the best or not, he will do it anyway. Of course Van Gogh would have loved his work, because of their shared passion.

The BBC told you to stay home, because in England, they don't get real winter very often. The whole country is mostly green all year round, so when it does snow for real, they don't have the infrastructure in place to deal with it , and more importantly - no one knows how to drive in it.
But it can be lovely to watch.

Finalmente andrò a vedere le sue opere a Milano 2023. Vorrei dire al Sig. Hockney che avrei desiderato essere un albero che ha incontrato nel suo cammino. Avrei desiserato essere un fiore nel vaso. Mi sarebbe piaciuto nascere nel duo tempo ed incontrarlo. Sarei stata per ore seduta su quella sedia e sentire l'emozione del colore trasferito sulla sua tela. Grazie maestro. Con stima.
