Sir I’ve just discovered you a few weeks ago. Don’t even know why I’m watching this my son is allergic to pork lol. I just love your delivery and the amount of information you put out!!! Thank you so much
I wonder if its what the pig had been fed. Soy traces will end up in the meat. There are people who can't eat store bought eggs because the traces end up in the eggs. The more natural the meat the less likely that will occur. I'm raising pigs to breed and I am purposefully making my own feed with no soy and little corn. I'm allergic to both
Hi Mr. Billy - we have been buying from butcher box - but we found a local farmer & my husband & i also our older son are now going in on a pig as we Dont have piglets , My Son will in time on his property , I can only have chickens & had to fight 4 that , loved your HOA video .... .We faught it with many other home owners , our back yard is 1/4 acre an using every inch ... God bless you & the family Mrs Josette Tharp Montgomery County, Texas 🙏🏻
18:22 Camera man couldn't wait and came in for the kill. I'm thinking that means the insider knows it's really, really good. Also, he could smell it which is a luxury that we viewers don't have.
I have several batches of bacon, at different stages of curing, going on at the same time. In the beginning of the video I showed how to start the process with one batch and then showed how to finish it with an older batch. The moisture was accidentally poured off before filming.
It all depends on whom you ask. Some people claim that it’s thinly sliced pork loin and others claim that comes from different areas of a pig. I’ve never gotten to the bottom of it.
In all honesty, it feels, tastes and smells totally different. In fact you will notice the biggest difference is the lower moisture content and how it stays generally straight after cooking it.
I kind of feel like you need to mow the brush down behind your house. It looks like a fire hazard to me. But if you live in California. I guess it's just a complaint. But that wouldn't be around my house. I guess that's why California is always on.
One of my great regrets is that I didn’t truly appreciate the value of home education when he was young. In hindsight, I suppose we sent him to public school for indoctrination but around the dinner table he was educated in the things that truly matter.
Love the way you all work your stuff it's the way grandparents did it canr wait tell I get back to Missouri and get a few arces

“On day 10 you take it out of the plastic” wait, when did we put it into the plastic?? And where is the moisture going?

How they make Applewood bacon or just name?
Old school is the only school
I think I’m going to have to borrow that!
If you don't want to smoke it, can you freeze it without smoking?
Recipe please 🙏
Canadian bacon use to be very popular on pizza but no one sells it anymore. I heard Canadian bacon is just very thinly sliced bacon?
It all depends on whom you ask. Some people claim that it’s thinly sliced pork loin and others claim that comes from different areas of a pig. I’ve never gotten to the bottom of it.
Make it with pork loin, use salt ,pepper, cane sugar and some cloves
How much salt do you use?
Ain’t no fakin when your takin and bakin bacon.
Hey billy. Does this bacon still smell and taste the same as store bought without the pink salt?
In all honesty, it feels, tastes and smells totally different. In fact you will notice the biggest difference is the lower moisture content and how it stays generally straight after cooking it.
I’d have to find a lower salt cure.

can I do this with BEEF???

No scrawny bacon.
Right on!
