dude already tried to lie about what Joe needed to roll, should check if his dice are weighted or something, crazy how many 5+ he was rolling.
Those are really interesting and cool special effects Joe integrated into the game.
Nice to see you guys playing this. Imo a lot of the problems stem from the shift to the hex grid. In the original edition from Forge World, movement was a lot slower (your speed = movement in inches + one maneuver card, which is not that much on a full 6 x 4 board!) so you needed 12 turns to accomplish objectives. Hope you take a crack at it with your game designer eye and come up with some houserules that make it less feelsbad!
It may sound corny LOL but something about a financially sound grown ass man making all these character voices and gun sound effects like a child lol fucking love it dude I absolutely appreciate the passion and willingness to say fuck it and be yourself and just have a good time with you're friends like back in the simple days
Even tough im not really into these table games myself (no room or time lol), its always interesting to see these :) the miniatures always looks great as does the map. Great stuff
Love the content diversity! Warhammer seems like an investment, but also seems super fun.
I find a killteam starter set as a great way to try Warhammer.
Warhammer prices are not for the faint of heart and the time investment required to learn the rules and get your miniatures painted is an absolute journey.

I like that you're doing Aeronautica reports, but the orks were set up to fail by rule errors. For example, you can't shoot down grot bombs- they count as a weapon, like any other type of missile, the use of a miniature is irrelevant (there is only one scenario with a special rule allowing them to be shot). They also move immediately after being shot. They're one of the strongest Ork weapons.

It's funny how if it's not a Titan/Knight or Spaceships, the Aeldari/Drukhari have so much more interesting vehicle designs compared to the Imperium. Yet when comparing to the actual troops, the Imps (especially Astartes) remain as the poster boys for very good reasons in that department. Then there are Orks. Orks are perfect in every avenue.
For your final Wednesday on the eve of 10th, you guys should play a good 'ol game of SPACE HULK! Or at least do something of the like with the Gallowdark/Boarding Actions terrain. One last sortie against the Genestealers before the 3rd Tyrannic war commences!

In many ways, Joe is living the life. He makes a really good living by just playing video games with his friends, and he's got the time to excellently paint thousands of Warhammer models and game with his buddies. An absolute life of leisure my friend.
I think he assigned a 3rd party professional to paint his models. He mentioned in previous battle report he is looking to collaborate further with the painter for more projects. The painter services and link was posted somewhere in one of his vids.

Really should have been a 3D map if this would catch my interest. 3D models on a 2D map is just .. meh ..
The game has varying altitudes, indicated on the base. They just didn't seem to use them at all, but there is a height element to this.

I do like to see this kind of games. I dont like the Warhammer but would want to see same stuff but for real history. This could have been a good ww2 air battle.
I mean rules don't mean much tbh. If you think it's unbalanced just make your own rules up on the fly, that's the beauty of a board game.

I immediately felt like this game is a bit too shallow and not that exciting when I saw its release. X-wing is this but way cooler, maybe you could give it a shot? You love Star Wars too. Also 10th ed. is shaping up to be really awesome, the rules shown so far are pretty damn spot on.
I like Armada more. But yeah this game looks a bit shallow and boring next to star Wars aerial Mini games

Easy content to upload, 2-3 hours of table top gameplay is way easier to edit than 10-20 hours of gameplay where they have to make a script, find glitches and bugs, test multiplayer, performance, quality, etc....
