Great Video, i often only watch the first part of your Battle reps just to check out the armies as i don't play currently but this was compelling viewing. I think the obvious thing here was Nick's horrible luck, hard to focus on a comeback when your heavy hitters let you down.

Love this battle report. Love this channel. This is the worst shooting I've seen from the new guard codex in any Battle report lol sorry Nick! That being said, all them 6's to hit reminded me of why everyone likes the auto wounding rule
Played my first battle with the new Astra codex today. Been so hyped, astra is my big "love", i could sell all other armies but never my guard. Was so excited! But, every step of the way i just got more and more dissapointed. (played without the balance dataslate rules). Just kept on comming into cases where i thougt, well, if that was the old codex my unit would be alive now. If that was the old codex that enemy unit would be dead now. etc etc... Artillery cant hit anything, vehicles are once again back to being squishy without AoC, infantry became more expensive. Guess i just have to give it a few more games, but the first game really put me down
@@dragma907 i wouldn't play them without AoC.... AoC and no LOS penalty was introduced in a batlance dataslate when I think Guard codex was already written therefore there is no reason the codex should mention it, and besides, why would CSM still benefit from AoC and Guard wouldn't?

They are just Cotten batting and flicker lights underneath.
2 minutes until Cadia falls again. Love it!
Nick, get in touch with Mordian Glory. He'll give you some good tips. You need to up your Guard game.
This is not wrong.
@@PlayOnTabletop but until then, play on! 😌
You should make a side series where you invite RUclips gamers and other RUclipsrs who never played warhammer but are interested and teach them how to play! I think it would be a great addition to this channel idk I figured I should at least throw this comment out there i commonly watch you on my other acc anyway love what y’all do and you got me and 4 friends into this hobby thank you keep up the amazing work
Great Video, i often only watch the first part of your Battle reps just to check out the armies as i don't play currently but this was compelling viewing. I think the obvious thing here was Nick's horrible luck, hard to focus on a comeback when your heavy hitters let you down.
The audio balance is a little low in the side interviews- but otherwise great content as always! What a fun game. Awesome to see you guys continue to hone your craft 💪
Had to make sure Dave wouldn’t blow out peoples eardrums 😂😂😂
Jk Dave I love you 😂😂
@@andrewcrawford8306 😂😂
It would've been pretty funny if they had a Trazyn the Infinite miniature in the background just lurking about
Oh I totally should have!
THIS BETTWR BE GOOD!
And it's true. The planet broken before the guard fell back, they stood there ground
wow these new 3d animations are next level!
I feel mass enjoyment seeing the great Chaos Lord Dave laughing like a maniac.
“CADIA STANSS FOREVER!” “NO IT DOESNT!” 😂😂😂 I love these guys
Mark of Tzeentch for 15 points is brutal.
Cant describe how happy i am finally seeing my personall army of choice on the channel finally.
Love this battle report. Love this channel.
This is the worst shooting I've seen from the new guard codex in any Battle report lol sorry Nick!
That being said, all them 6's to hit reminded me of why everyone likes the auto wounding rule
Man, that was a REALLY rough game for Nick. The dice were definitely not on his side in this one, I feel for him.
Definitely Steve touched dice
Turn 1 is the best argument for templates to return that I've seen.
Guess i just have to give it a few more games, but the first game really put me down
Similar experience playing my Guard tonight... jusy felt like an uphill battle against other 9th codex
Did guard lose armor of contempt?
@@dragma907 i wouldn't play them without AoC.... AoC and no LOS penalty was introduced in a batlance dataslate when I think Guard codex was already written therefore there is no reason the codex should mention it, and besides, why would CSM still benefit from AoC and Guard wouldn't?
@@SneakyBeeBuzzBuzz i think, but might be mistaken. That chaos had AoC in their Codex, but guard doesnt.
The concept of a CSM dying to a guardsmen in close combat is so funny. Imagine surviving a millenia of war post the Horus Heresy for a lowly guardsmens lasgun bayonet to end you
Godd to see Daves Deffy back on the field, they trash the paint but still impressive for a first model
Early showing, usually it is 21:00 CET?
Love to see Dave vs Nick :D
Nick. I cant believe you got Dave on here. You truly are the mightiest among the Tau players. Respect.
I feel mentally violated… somehow. I guess it’s time to buy a another t-shirt to provide much needed comfort from the best t-shirt company.
@@miniwargaming Good Sir. I've been watching your battle reports ever since youve been doing them. You've made me laugh so much and also taught me a lot about the game. Seeing you actually appearing on other channels? Not gonna lie, it was a bit special. I know i deserve your ire as a T'au and Raven Guard player, but you will always be a bit of a hero to me, Dave.
Much love, don't change, stay safe and keep healthy
Great game and awesome energy! But was there a sneaky ork hiding in a tower?
Yep!
I feel sorry for Nick.
Sure, the army was Not the Most suited to fight chaos,
But the Dices were so much against him.. it didnt even seem fair.
My only real issue with the new Cadians (and I'm sorry if you can't unsee it) but their helmets look like baseball helmets. more like ready to play ball instead of read to die 😂
This was a tragic game for nick, got a bit emotional too
