There are 5 pillars of our culture that create dangerous perspectives for single people, thus sabotaging marriages before they even begin! The result is that we get stuck on what we want marriage to do for us, which cultivates “single people problems” that are then taken into marriage.

I'm a day late but I'm here Amen Glory be to God.
I always find it fascinating single pastors very rarely speak on these subjects it's always the married ones!!!
There's very few single pastors to begin with, they are typically not enabled to prosper in a church until they get married. I do wish long time single people were elevated more in the body as a whole. They have much to contribute but are often looked down on or not sought after because most see married people as superior in the church. It's not a biblical mindset and we all miss out because of this.
I think a lot of pastors are not single because they need help. They need a constant covering of a Holy wife or husband to do what they do. Not that they can't be successful without a wife or husband but it makes it easier for them. The Bible actually encourages singleness because we can accomplish more without the responsibilities of a family but we also need the family to continue the growth of the kingdom. So we have to know and honor which one God has called us to; singleness or marriage
