Technical question: how do you see, CGB, insatiable avarice or case of the stashed skeleton in this list? These are also two cards that can take you Harmless Offering.
Not Offering at 5:50 is insane to me, unless CGB 100% sure opponent plays zero counters? If they have even one and draw it there, all they have to do is leave it up, because they know he'll have to do something or lose. I don't see a reason to believe they could kill him in a turn or sac the pact either, so I see even less reason to leave yourself dead to counter.
I was thinking exactly the same, like they basically have 1 turn to win the game which is impossible from their position or a way to interact with their own enchantment which would require something extremely niche like beseech, even floodmaw doesn't do it since it only targets opponent's permanents. I do not understand why he just wouldn't give it away there.
Harmless offering is a great card but making it rare again is bologna imo it’s way too situational to hit a new player with as the supposed big hit from one of their first packs and literally is the worst possible pull in limited unless super lucky to get pact
Coming on the official MTG-Channel and WotC still: "Mono-Red isn't a problem" (including its Boros/Gruul-Versions). Only >65% Winrate, most played deck (if you combine its versions), annoying a.f. to most people (almost all who don't play it).
I hit mythic playing goblins; boros aggro and boros burn were maybe my best matchups, pretty sure I won well over 70% against those 2... but I guess technically I am part of the mono-red problem.
@bortmode yes and no. I'm pro "Hate the game, not the player" WotC seems to go towards Yu-Gi-Oh, because quick games in Bo1 are what millions of mobile players like. That's my hypothesis at least. I don't like it that way at all and like them to change that or at least not go further, but it's not the player's fault
when can we get more alchemy decks on the official mtg. no one does alchemy anymore ): its just easier for new players to get into it as they wait 4 years to get a standard deck
@@philippacollins1867 because they're dead draws otherwise and the pact is a 4 cmc that gives you 4 turns to find it after casting. mathematically you should be able to get there, which is why the game where he didn't is so funny
It was poetic that you gave the Demon deck the Demonic Pact

just click on his channel, he got a deck with case already

Holy crap, mono red shady is LITERALLY braindead
monored has always been that. like jim davis said: "the thing about playing monored is that you don't care what they're doing"

100% agreed, perhaps the worst rare in limited, feels bad

Why wouldn’t you put 4 harmless offerings in ???

Cat Pact had, but you do not need. Enough options to hand it. Another often used card is Coveted Falcon... None in this 'mono' black deck.
Because beseech the mirror is 3 extra copies anyway.
because holding 2-3 offerings in your hand isn't going to do shit lol
We need more best of 3 content , this is like meh. Sideboard with 0 cards make me sad.
CGB almost exclusively does BO1 (and Brawl... which is still a BO1 format). It's kind of his thing.
@@seanheath4492 is boring, win is like flip a coin in best of one
@@franciscotavares4600 All I'm saying is that you shouldn't expect BO3 videos from CGB. He'll do them occasionally, but it's not really his thing.
@@seanheath4492 bro i dont know who is he, i dont care
@@franciscotavares4600 Well, now you do have some idea of who he is and what he does.
