I just tested the recipe this morning ! They are to die for ! I added spirulina, chia seed and a 1/2 table spoon of coconut oil. I replaced the almond butter with peanut butter. Thanks for the inspo ❤️

Hi Annie! I have a TIP for you! When you’re using flax seeds please do take the step to grind them up a little bit in a mortar before you use them in any recipe. This is because the membrane that's around the seed is indigestible for us and this means you won't be getting the benefits from the seed! Even blending doesn't really work with flax seeds as they are too slippery for the blades! Hope you see this! 💕💕
I was going to mention the same thing. Whole flax seeds pass right through the body undigested. But blending them in a jar has always worked fine for me. I'll often do up a week's worth and store them in the freezer. Chewing them doesn't do the trick, they're far too hard for our teeth

I attempted to make this recipe and it failed miserably due to my blender not being strong enough lol Thus I added more water and didn't turn into a paste. I didn't want to waste it so it turned into over night Oats and let me say, my husband and I LOVED it! 🤣❤️ great recipe for overnight Oats too yall. I made a second batch tonight. They look amazing! I've never used the vanilla powder, do you like it better than extract? Just curious 🙂 These are so perfect as treats to bring to parties!

I think the vanilla powder that Annie uses is just vanilla shredded up so it gives you a more natural authentic flavour but is also really expensive and vanilla extract is just like syrup, with sugar in it and concentrated so it is probably not that great in flavour (depends on what you’re used to) and also unhealthier but since you usually don’t use tons of it it won’t be a huge problem.
