    There you go, again, Stu, being a contrarian. 😂 Almost every PGA Pro and player, male and female, would say you’ve got this all wrong, but you being you, thumb your nose at them and say they’re wrong. How dare you. 🤣 Please keep doing what you do and educate us with the truth. This, and the science you use, is why I subscribe to your channel. I want to know and learn the truth about the golf swing and back it all up with science not some guy or gals personal opinion or style that makes no sense or is dead wrong. Kudos to you. Cheers.

    Brooms, boxes and wedges….. so much cheaper than force-plates, hack motion, etc. …. But then again Trackman is still king……😂
    Seriously though, the non-bs, clear and direct content has helped me no end. And this is a good example…".Cheers Stu👍

    My understanding is this applies to every club in the bag?

    Great video. I think when it comes to longer clubs, especially driver, it is okay to have a bit of lateral shift as long as you recenter. Most amateurs hang back on the trail side too long like you mentioned. When learning how to push off of my trail leg, I had to start with step drills and a bit of lateral shift. The key, imo, is recentering or pushing off of your trail leg early enough like you demonstrated.
    I will add that my tendency is to hit up 1-2 degrees on my irons. This is very frustrating for me. The only way I can hit down on the ball is if I keep my feet together, or if I post up on my lead side and drop my trail foot back (closed stance). Any thoughts on this?

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  18 дней назад

      Hi Brian - I think you’ve missed the idea, I actively encourage “no” push off with the trail leg in the downswing. Best wishes Stu.

    • @brianschultz7320

      @@GoodGolfCoaching The pushing off I was referring to was the straightening of the leg in the backswing. An example would be a face-on swing from Rory. Pretty sure we are saying the same thing in two different ways.
