honestly I think 1/250 as shiny odds is way to high. do a straight 512 (like for masuda with shiny charm) so its not imossibly difficult but not fast eather. 1/250 ist like running around with a perm pokeradar 38-39 chain. Its almost a gifted shiny.
I think the challenge is less about spending ages trying to find a shiny but trying to beat the game as fast as possible while also figuring out when to hunt for a shiny with out falling too far behind
btw i dont think the chance is that - i think it should be at the 4k thing - half the old one - but in this video it does sure seem like the rate is way higher? did they use a mod or smth?

@@carlo2591 yes there is the radar method where if you are lucky you can get a high chain (increasing your shiny odds), but at the beginning he said they have 1:250 shiny odds (for every encounter), so it must be cheated in some way
