I feel like a learned a lot in this ten minutes. I’m knitting a shawl at the moment but I am going to have to do this one! I love that you left this as a sort of recipe for us to play with. I love your tips you added in. This really is lovely!!! My mother deserves one!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you thank you thank you
Very pretty shawl! Love the ruffles on the border. Just so happens I have a few skeins of Shawl in a Cake! Great idea on what to do with them! Thanks so much!🤗🤗
You are seriously awesome! I've taken quite a few online knitting classes (mostly through Craftsy--before Bluprint ruined it!), and you rival the best teachers. Thank you. Blessings!
I am about to cast off after working on this for only 2 weeks. I have found that using 2 skeins lion brand scarfie yarn makes a really plush and soft shawl that I am looking forward to using all winter long
Maybe I'm missing a trick, or just haven't picked up the info, but - how did you achieve the ruffled edge, please? Was it just an increase row, knit 1 more row then bind off?
Really want to do this but found it difficult to follow along as a beginner. I wish you did more complete beginner tutorials where we can follow along over a few videos to make a garment
When I have a hard time like that then I just watch over and over till I finally start to understand. I’ve had issues understanding tutorials before but being super stubborn seems to pay off 😊 good luck to you ❤️
Hi Carolyn, thanks for checking out my site! I'm having some visibility problems with it right now. While I try to fix it, you can find the pattern on Lovecrafts as well. www.lovecrafts.com/en-us/p/garter-stitch-half-pi-shawl-knitting-pattern-by-michelle-greenberg
This is just a request, because I can't find in the Internet " how to knit a DIAGONAL pocket" please just do it in a small piece of a knitted material, just to demonstrate. I'm planning to knit for my self a chest strap hanging from shoulder to my hip for my iPhone and keys. Thanks again, Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄 take care, love you♥️
The gradient yarn you used suits this pattern really well. Your shawl is really pretty. I'm curious to know what the pattern name is for the blue lace pi shawl shown near the beginning of the video at 1:06. I'd really like to knit that one. Thanks
Wow❗️I believe you, I can see your personalities, talented, speedy and passionate knitter. Don't forget GOD and your family. Thanks again🌸🌼🌹 love you for the response.❤️❤️❤️
The pattern says "For a ruffled edge, work an increase row, one knit row and then bind off. And then below that it says "The MORE rows you knit after an increase round, the more your edge will ruffle." 😕
Thank you so much for such straightforward instructions. I can now go off and work out my design.
At last!!! I found your tutorial of the famous pi shwal!!!! Cheers from Argentina🇦🇷

I found the shawl on Ravelry. For anyone else who may be interested, it's the Event Horizon Pi Shawl by Donna Druchunus.
👍🇮🇳
Another great project to knit in winter, thanks again🌸🌼🌹 How many days/month did you finish the PI shaw?
thank you! Honestly, I probably knit it over 4-5 days, maybe 8 or 10 hours total. I'm speedy 😉

Türkçe altyazı neden yok?
Mine looks like an umbrella. I'm not getting the straight edge across the top. What am I doing wrong?
I found that my shawl looked a bit umbrella-esk too until I bound off. It just had to do with how the cord on the circular needle had them spread out.
Did you use just one Shawl in a cake yarn? I need to use the cake that I have.
Yup, that's right. Just one whole cake
@@TheSnugglery Thank you!
