- This is the first time we've had this much snow on the homestead! Earlier in the winter we had a couple of inches that lasted only a few hours.. so we HAD to go explore!

I love seeing the property in a different season. What a difference
Its fun for us too! This is first time we’ve had a good snow that lasted more than a couple hours. Pretty cool to see it in all its moods.

Lovely walk! I'm happy that you have such a beautiful place to live. I have never seen such huge snowflakes! My area gets an average of only 4 inches of snow per year. We are more likely to have freezing rain. I once had a male cat who brought me gifts of dead birds, mice, squirrels, and baby rabbits. I would thank him for his gifts and then dispose of them. Glad you enjoyed Maria's quail. Jessica, I love your hooded pancho!
🤣🤣🤣 normally we do too! Lol but I called her off just after she caught it, and it was unharmed for the most part.. I couldn’t let what people hunt go to waste.
This is our first winter here, so I don’t t know how normal this weather is, but it sure is pretty.
And thanks! I love this poncho! It’s wool and so warm! I found it at a street fair in the heat of the summer 🤣 it wasn’t fun to carry it that day… but I’ve never regretted it!
just watched your last 4 films!! jess...you all need some good gardening gloves! how could you do all that vine pulling without gloves?? and Maverick...we see you and love when you want to share your thoughts and what you are up to on the farm! wow the snow sure is pretty! bet the inside fire feels warm and toasty during this kind of weather! thx for sharing

I’ve never found a good pair of gardening gloves that I like! They always make my hands sweaty! Lol
Maverick is such a ham 🤣 but he makes me smile and I love sharing that with you all too.
