    I will say if i heard you yelling behind me like that i would think you are hurt and not that you are trying to get around me. It would take a few times of you yelling before i realized what you wanted. That said, as a slower rider, i am always checking behind me at turns and stuff to see when fast guys are coming up quick, cause i dont want to mess up their race.

    • @RyderSigety

  • @JOHNATHAN880AYD
    @JOHNATHAN880AYD 11 месяцев назад +3

    I was “the rider on the Honda” you were definitely on me for a good while, however it doesn’t matter what class we are in, we are all in it for the overall. Just because I’m slower than you doesn’t mean you get to scream for 6 mins straight and get a free pass. We are all racing on the same track and have the same difficulty passing as you are. When I “threw my bike” in front of you was not on purpose in anyway. I thought there was a side line to get around the person in front of me but there was no other option. Yes, I shouldn’t have tried to jump back onto the track without making sure anyone was there, obviously everyone has made a dumb racing decision when your under pressure.

    • @speedtoad6167
      @speedtoad6167 11 месяцев назад +2

      I 100% agree with you, but if I was behind you I would have knocked you out of the way. It's very easy for the racer coming up from behind to take the person out in front and it happens quite a bit when there's money on the line. I see it as the front person's choice, go faster or get out of the way.

    • @overknight5226

      @@speedtoad6167 I would rather see a hard pass then whatever this is…

    • @JOHNATHAN880AYD
      @JOHNATHAN880AYD 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@speedtoad6167 if the person behind me is faster, they should know how to pass me. If it comes to it, go for a aggressive pass.

      I tottally understand how u want to do well overall and beat your friends, no one wants to hinder that....but at the same time, your holding up the overall leader with an hour of racing to go, were u not planning on not moving over for an hour? I spoke with the D6 trail boss (not about you but in general) how the series looks at racers not moving over for faster riders and this is exactly what he said (copy and paste) "At the start of the race we would say we don't want anyone hurt, we want everyone to enjoy their race, and if you got caught, he's faster than you. Just be polite and do the right thing and pull over...." I know its often hard to tell who's in your class, and whos not, so that can be tough. I have been racing 30 years, won 8 National championships (not braging but establishing some credabilty to my next statement) and the only way to pass another racer in the single track is either wait for them to make a mistake or clip thier bars and send them into the woods and hope they dont break thier neck....we dont want to win that bad to risk hurting anyone...Your riding well, lets all be friends....thanks John.

    Screaming is embarrassing. Rev and make clean passes but don’t yell at people ahead of you. Everyone out there is racing so find a place to pass and do it safely. I have watched several teenagers just this season take each other out trying to pass in the wrong place. Can’t win if you’re on the ground.
