- Powerline Park Ohio GNCC Race Report: Ryder Sigety grabbed the holeshot and diced his way thru the pack to win his first 3 hour main event GNCC! This is his 2nd time racing a 3 hour GNCC and he is starting to figure out how to budget and push at the same time. Ohio is infamous for slick mud and this was no exception but by the time the 3 hour race started, the course was wiped down to a slick base of clay with some sections having foot peg deep ruts. Ryder was either smart enough or lucky enough to not get hung up and take the win!

I know I don't no you guys but I want to say it really warms my heart to see the father / Son relationship you too have with each other. Great Job Dad on raising your son to me a fantastic young man and great Job Ryder for becoming the young man your father intended. I'm sure you understand how blessed you are to have him as your dad. And I'm a 53 year old moto guy from the country in South Alabama saying this. Mr Sigety you are setting a great example for the rest of us so thank you sir. Great riding Ryder and also another great video !!! God bless you two
wow, so nice of u to say!!! would be nice to meet u. We have been to Barber Vintage in Alabama with a great Alabama racer Mike Monroe, i dont suppose u know him?
Great job guys!
Mike - we walk like old men because we're old men. :)
i told dad and he laughed too...thanks as always for the comment!
Great riding as always. Congratulations on first place. I cannot believe how much it dried up from Saturday wow. That was a muddy flipping mess on Saturday and it didn't even look like it really rained compare this Sunday
I just saw someone else's morning video, like two differnt tracks.
Im liking and commenting to help Dad pay for new clutch plates!!
hahaha, he (and I) appreciate it. not sure if u heard the clutch, it was wright before he said "listen to that clutch"?, he measured it today, clutch (and oil) look good
@@RyderSigety my son and I raced at Powerline several times years ago - hasn't changed - all new bearings, brakes, clutch and throw in new chain and sprockets after every race there
haha!
Well done kiddo on a ruff course, nice pic Dr petey got of u on start.
thanks! and yes Dr Petey got the best pic of all that i looked and i looked a lot!!! Winner!
Commenting for the algorithm! But I also just really enjoy the videos !
hahahahah, thats good and thanks!
Hi Ryder's dad. Great race and another great video. Congrats on the win. See you guys at Sahara Sands this weekend.
Thanks!!! Yesss, we will be there! C u in a few days
Hey Guys, I was missing your uploads for some reason so really glad to see you pop up in my feed again! Awesome video and great to see Ryders transition to the 125 going so well! Have a great weekend and see you on the next one! I always get a kick listening to Ryder as he is just on it Erving the crap out of it!
Welcome back! Thanks for kind words.... Maybe time to hit Subscribe and Notify? :-) thanks again!
You are on your way to the top. Nice riding I really enjoy your videos tell Pop to stop hitting tree they don't move...
THanks Tammy! I will tell him, i asked him if he knew a "Tammy" and he said back in the day racing ecea enduros thier was a Tammy on a Yamaha, is that u?
@@RyderSigety +
Yes was in the woman's class but I had to stop I had part of my lung removed " Stag 4 COPD" and could never get more then 4 checks in the harder Enduros but I still ride every week 08WR250f / 24YZ250X and still ride big bikes. Your dad as well as most everyone in the ECEA where always quick to help out and always made new riders feel welcome That is the one part of racing I will always miss. Tell Dad I side Hello!..
@@PA-Tammy oh wow, so sorry to hear that u got sick. I told dad, he said thanks and sorry too. He had a lot of respect for u too. He also used the Hitliss powervalve system this weekend and said to tell u its awesome. It bridges the gap between the X model that is a little soft off the bottom and gear spacing and the moto model that hits abrupt. He loved it in the slick clay this weekend
@RyderSigety I could talk all day about your Dad and his club OCCR and how someone from that club saved me out in the woods and all the people in the ECEA did to help me be a better rider and person. You're young and you may not know it, but you have a lifetime of incredible memories yet to be made in this sport.
I will enjoy watching you grow and become the same ambassador to the sport as your dad is.
PS I love how to rib your Dad In your commentaries don't lose that.. But remember he did do the Erzberg Rodeo and that is big...
Thanks Tammy! I will try to tell him all that and we will never forget to stop busting each other, :-) its non stop here
GREAT RIDE !! Dale
Thanks Dale!👍
good ride kid!!! happy for ya
Thanks a lot David!
Nice ride! And congrats on the 1p finish. I didn't notice any missing bark on that one tree at the bottom of the hill.
Thanks Scott! My dad was in eco friendly mode and hit the tree with the soft spot of his body :-)
Excellent ride, vid capture & narration. "Taking his lunch money" 🤗. And not to overlook the short, but important comment on that one clutch burn cause "once in a while its ok". Yuppers. Choose those wisely. 🙂
Ken...
Good points! thanks Ken!!!
Great ride Ryder! And Mike, I need to say " I told you so" You mentioned in here that you were worried about Ryders move up to the big bikes! I know that it is much more difficult when its your kid, but man,,,,, I told you that he would have no issues and would adapt to the big bike quickly, smoothly and be rad as hell!
Good call! Thanks Craig!!!!!
Great job…learn from those Pros passing you, you’ll be battling them soon!
Great ride Ryder!
Thanks! Holeshot on the comments too :-)
Nice vid guys. As far as snowshoe goes every line is adjusted in scoring. They record the time each line leaves and it gets adjusted accordingly with each line of each class. It's really the same as the starts at the other events you just have more lines to start.
Thanks for the info! It seemed to me that its not adjusted during the race but maybe Im wrong
Great race! Always enjoy your videos.
Thanks, appreciate the kind words...and any words really, lol
Awesome ride. Watching the pros pass really puts things into perspective
Yeah they go so fast! It definitely does. Thanks!
Great work Ryder!
I turn into super man when I get into my Moose Kit!!! 😎👍👌
great rideing brutha!! i grew up raceing ftr thats our harescramble series here in florida, BRUTAL lmao but nothing like a good race weekend in the woods with family! my bike of choice was a kdx 200 best woods bike in my opinion, atliest back in the 2000s lol keep training , stay healthy bc once you hit 35 u feel every tree, every over the bars crash and my back is toasted! but all worth it, wish my body could still handle it. shoulders rotator is busted n muscle is still unattached. maybe one day after surgery.
whoa!!!! Sorry to hear how busted up u are! We have a good friend with a $13,000 new 4 stroke but loves his KDX the MOST?>!?!?! I rode it, I can see why u loved it...Thanks for watching and comment Justin!
Congrats!
Thanks Arron!
Dang Ryder great job! Keep it up
Thanks! Will do
Congrats!! 💪🥇
Thanks Derek! Appreciate it
Team Sigety for the Win! 🏆
Super nice to say that!!!!
Nice job
Thanks Brandon!
W win great job🤙🔥
Thanks Jacob! See u later!
Missed the last couple, but awesome job man!!!!
Thanks again!!!!!
Great race little late but congrats on the win!
Never too late and thanks!!!
Good job I was there so I probably saw you bc my friend took me
Yeah we probably bumped into each other!
Powerline Park was probably the worst you'll see for parking. The property used to have more parking....but its smaller now since they put the well pad in. I ran 50+ B....the track was gnarly especially with how slick it was
good to know, parking was so stressful. Love the "Harescrambled" lol!!!
@@RyderSigety thanks! Been using it for years 🤣
@@harescrambled good one for sure Lee!
For the back camera if you wanna run it get a uswe zulo 6 i have one my self and it last 2 hours depending on how much you drink and you can still run the back camera
hmmmm does it feel heavy??
@@RyderSigety it feels kinda heavy to lift when its full but you can’t really notice when your riding
Have you tried the fanny pack hydration systems? I really like mine because I struggle with heat exhaustion, and my back stays cooler.
Good advice! i forgot how much cooler a waist pack will be, ill order a moose one this week!
Mike is right the Am race was bad I got stuck 3 times the first lap
Oh man, thats tough, that will zap ur energy big time...
Those track conditions looked fun. Great job. Curious what the average heart rate is? I’m using Garmin Venu for my tracking
Not sure on the heart rate, its surprisingly low when i race. Once we use a professional trainer who has trained Webb, Dungey, ect....he was so bad for me, my first 4 races after training with him my heart rate was the highest it every been and i ran out of energy every race until we dropped him
Hey Ryder, just curious do you run a Rekluse auto clutch? Or is it a manual? Love the vids!
hi Levi, the Rekluse Torque Drive. Though the yamaha clutch isnt terrible, I have never had a single clutch failure with the Rekluse manual torque drive!
His name at 2:02 is definitely a Greek one!🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷 I didn't catch it though...!
yep thats him!!!! thanks
125 rippin
Thanks! 🙏
Fast
THanks a lot mike!!!
So I am currently on a 85 and I am getting close to a full size bike and I am not sure if I should get a 250 or a 125 but my main question is how much slower is a 125 in a straight and do you have any recommended mods for the 125
Good questions!!!! Depends on a lot of things. How big/heavy/strong are u? How long are ur races? what kind of terrain u ride in? If u watch my "TOR" videos, i enter the "B Open" class, 250's even 450's and the yamaha gets me there as fast as everyone else, if not first!
Probably can turn faster on a 125 so also depends on how tight your courses are.
Thank you
@@speedtoad6167 all true. I love the YZ 125 and i feel can handle it, not it handle me..
👍
Thanks Ryan!!!
Your dad kind of sent me here but any way you where looking good on the video
See you guys at the nexttor or ecea
Thank you either way, yes going this and next weekend, u?
Yeah I will be at all the ecea and the tors
Mike hi commenting
haha, thanks Dale. Tell Andy the "C" race was harder!
Algorithm
honestly, i appreciate it Tony!
Congrats Ryder on your first 3hr race win!
Thanks BRian! Are u still racing? still changing everyone elses tires before u go to the starting line? lol
