This nfs was underrated because people can't take a turn at 200km/h, hit the wall and continue racing. I remember what intense was the speed races; you made a mistake and your car was totaled, or seeing other cars that made a bad jump and they roll and fall apart. Nitro has charges, so you need to use properly. Underrated because it's realism.

The teaser they posted revealing the trailer date for Unbound has so much Pro Street effects... The flashing font, background which is exactly what the Pro Street main menu has, along with its trailer... I really hope that Unbound is in some ways a PS successor

Free roaming's kind of cool. If this game has good phyiscs, great car handling, more in-depth tuning options, exterior customization, pursuits (HUGE one!), and track & street racing.. then it's going to be a winner.

Nowadays the game is looked back on fondly, and its festival atmosphere is frequently replicated in other racing games to this day. With KuruHS giving the game an overdue Colbert Bump, and the misdirection and staleness of GT7 and Forza respectively leaving simcade fans disillusioned, NFS ProStreet has been experiencing a sort of resurgence. Now would be an excellent time to put the game back up on Origin.
I'm completing this game for the third time on KING assist. I love that you have to use brakes, unlike in other series. Going to tracks around the world... pretty sporty that you don't go on streets, pretty cool that it has that luminous yellow-green graffiti theme. Car for every discipline, fine tuning... you got to love it :)

I actually think its a decent game. Carbon and MW were better for sure...the lack of free driving capabilities and no police in Pro Street kind of killed it. I still think the cars are great, the game looks awesome, and the races are a lot of fun. It's not like the others but the customization features and selection of cars plus grip and drag racing, my personal favorites, make it kinda cool. It kind of forces you to actually attempt to run the lines and brake without being too restricting.

First when I bought Prostreet, I regretted it because it was so unrealistic compared to other games (At first thought). But then I put all the things to the side, and only thought about gameplay and customization, it turned out to be a really good game! Now when I play it, it's hard for me to find out any more flaws to it.. Except the damage.. The body of the cars look totally fine when it gets totaled. It only shows scratches and window cracks (Basically cosmetic damage only).

tuning your own cars is the best. You get to feel proud of your tuning and upgrading everytime you win a race. if the car is already tuned up when you buy it wheres the fun
I remember being so hyped after seeing this. They ditched the night time, the neons and all that arcady crap and nfs became something completely different. This was like a total re-boot for the series, it had damage, the graphics looked in a different league and i couldn't wait for it, it looked perfect, this trailer was fantastic. Then it came out, i played it and yeah it was alright i guess.
Clearly non of us truly understand the nfs pro street origion. I have been playing nfs for over 10 years with different game version of theirs and I'm not talking from nfs underground but before it. It was nice to get the old feeling back and for those who want street race and cops go find another game!
