How do find this car, hybrid and non hybrid while overtaking. Say for example you want to overtake a truck, swift and quick in a small window. Are you able to do so?
Design is subjective for sure... And i feel, the hycross is even more van like and very very disproportionate, especially with those thin and small wheels... The crysta, especially with the previous facelift was much more attractive!!!
Question: if I buy Innova Hycross non hybrid version can I upgrade the tyres to 18 or 19 inches as the they are giving 16 inch wheels by default which looks very ugly and looks like elephant is sitting on the nano car. Will it have any impact on performance or mileage of the vehicle???????
Jan to April manufactured Hycross is not E20 compatible , so early delivery customers are cheated by Toyota . Toyota did silent update and E20 sticker coming in petrol lid
Cyrus boss, your testers got over 13 Kmpl in the Hycross GX petrol non - hybrid whereas most RUclips channels say that it gives a max of 7 to 9 Kmpl at best; I am confused.
Well no matter what, it's feels far flimsy than crysta. I felt crysta was highly overpriced and yet this came and made crysta look like value for money. In terms of built it feels more Maruti than Toyota
People are complaining about power. But at least it’s a reliable, spacious and safe people mover. Maruti adding this product to its Nexa lineup would be a good addition since many of their cars are known for poor build.
I sold my 2005 Innova Petrol for 2 lakhs. It had clicked only 50k kms in 14 years. It would've run another 20 years if it wasn't for the scrappage policy that we have in Delhi.
Bro, I just drove hycross for 1000 km. The petrol engine is bullshit. The car has no power. You will miss the torque of old diesel engines everytime you overtake. I tried it off the eco mode, tried it in manual mode but no use. Don't buy Hycross. Go for 2.4 diesel crysta.
Hopeless pricing for the top end version, 36 lakhs + all over India on road. Many better Cars at that price point. Definitely not worth it. Do not compare it to a Tiguan to justify pricing .It sounds absurd.
@@u_nova_ Its not a five seater to 5 seater comparison....u cannot compare a hybrid to a turbo petrol just because they are in same price range...The Hycross is just a rubbishly overpriced MUV ,nothing else, but people buy it blindly because it being a Toyota.
Let me know if its Maruthi junk or in-house Toyota car now other research is needed in addition to vehicle companions to see of its a fake Toyota or not… what a pathetic situation we are in 😢
Hybrid is not the better option unless you can spend extra 4-5 lks which may not really be that worth and definitely not a no-brainer 😅😅 Yet again you are wrong since govt is yet to provide subsidy on strong hybrids.. Unless you can recover that 4-5 lks from a lot of running it doesn't make sense to go with freakishly expensive hybrid
Innova is one of the few cars which can appreciate over years of kept in good condition and run less than 1 lk which has been proven by many owners so again that's not correct wrt investment perspective because it is a very good investment if someone has a budget of 25 lks
You know this is an ad for Toyota as soon as they brought in a Tiguan to prove Hycross is indeed a VFM. Comon guys, it may be a great product, but it is grossly overpriced.
The Tiguan was just a reference. One needs to move on from the Innovas of the past and look at it as a genuine rival to the likes of a different segment.
@@CyrusDhabhar Cyrus, firstly a big fan, love your work. Coming to Innova, I am always ready to look past the badge and look at it as a rival to the segment above. I mean the sheer size of the Innova looks like its a Fortuner's lil brother. But the interior, I'm sorry to say this, it looks like it was designed in the last decade. Although I am a Tata fan, I feel XUV700 is the best in the segment.

True but the bigger wheels on the top variant look pretty good

Great video by powerdrift as always and as good as the Innova hycross may be its extremely overpriced and not worthwhile spending 36 lakhs on it
I was under the same impression till I spent a good amount of time in it.
Simply loved the video ❤.. thank you

I drove hycross for 1000 km just yesterday. I got milage of 14.3 kmpl. City, highway, bad road patches all included.

Why not? The are similarly priced. Today people are looking across body styles and types when buying cars.
whats the reason for not comparing it?

Hycross is not even close to 700’s power and torque.
Maruti & toyota are now making UNDERPOWERED PETROL UGLY ENGINES..don’t know what’s wrong with them?
While read ppl get excited about power and torque but on road only concern might be the mileage
You might want to recheck that horsepower figure.
@@CyrusDhabhar its top end hybrid itself can just chunk out 183 hp and 188 nm torque which is way too low when compared to XUV.
@@jackojagan8600still it can cap 700 in a drag
👍
The power in this is nothing close to an XUV or safari and no doubt Cyrus misses torque coz this car hasn’t gotten any
Wait for the next video!! 😉😉😉
Go check drag race btw these cars
Safari 0-100 13.5 sec, and hycross 9.5sec😂
