The best video I have ever seen on RUclips. I had problems with my neck for 10 years and with the exercises the problems have almost disappeared in 1 month. Thanks for the video
Excellent advice. I reduced my acute bulging C5-C6 disc with these exercises almost immediately and returned to heavy landscaping in my backyard the next day. Personal advice: lose the pillow and sleep on your back; a pillow should only be used for side sleeping after your acute symptoms have been eliminated.
I knew it was my darn pillow. I'm side sleeper but since my accident and getting whiplash, it's been damn near impossible to sleep, and I cannot sleep on my back.
But for me when i sleep on my back the pain get worse minute after minute till it will be unbearable, i can only sleep on my right side . The left side also has a limit , maybe 5 min till the pain becomes unbearable

Dr. Walter Salubro, firstly thank you for this great video. Had an injury 4 year ago and now the pain has evolved due to bad posture and sedentary lifestyle. Do you have videos on posture especially for D5D6 injuries? Sincerely thank you for helping us.
Should I use these exercises if my c5 c6 symptoms are mild. I don't have much pain other than a pinch in the neck that radiates to my left rhomboid area. I just don't want it to get any worse is the thing.

Wow such an awesome video with a huge amount of information! I also have suspected C5, C6 issues (7 x weeks now) with so much pain running down my right arm , Numbness, Pins & Needles in my thumb & Index finger, also causing my right shoulder blade to wing out when lifting my arm. The tricep has also deteriorated, However I have an MRI scan due next week so will talk to the Dr with regards to using your exercises. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Usman. Thanks. Here is another video I made about C5 C6 disc bulge. I talk about associated symptoms at 11:00. ruclips.net/video/S-m0JJO25lQ/видео.html
Dr . Walter based on my cervical spine xray I have been diagnosed by my family physician that there is a mild degenerative changes in C5-C6 level. My chronic pain have been subsiding with these similar exercises using a towel or yoga rope and physiotherapy. I understand that recovery might take some time and I am living in Brampton and i would like to check with you if I could get this neck exerciser for me.
New follower here. Very informative. Thanks! I was diagnosed with radiculopathy due to cervical and lumbar disc herniation. It has been resolved but the past few days i have been experiencing left arm numbness/tingling sensation and neck pain. I will try this exercises and will let you know.
Hello Dr Walter, unfortunately, I cannot come see you because I am in the US, but I really enjoy your video very informative. So in 2016 I had a diagnosis of an Asymmetric disc bulge with uncovertebral hypertropy. Mild canal narrowing partly effacing the ventral thecal sac without mass effect on the cord. No significant foraminal stenosis. Mild degenrative changes with mild canal narrowing at the C3-C4 and C4-C5. No acute abnormality. The reasons why I went in for an MRI is because I was having tingling/burning sensation in my pinky/ring fingers. so after taking GABA and methercalbon, the issue went away. Over time 2, 3 year thing keep getting worse on and off. So it started as mild mid back between the shoulder blade and for about a year and progress to major back muscle spasm, rib pain, tingling//numbness sensation from hands, neck to face, eye itchiness that come with the face tingling chest pain, trouble breathing to excessive yawning. I am not sure what made this thing worse, but I got hit from the back driving and had a whiplash in 2017, nothing major, my car did not even had a scratch. I have therapy, trigger point injection, all kind of drugs, nothing works. Now I am at seeing a chiropractor and a neurologist. The chiro told me I am missing the curve in my neck as it is now straight and he will rehabilitate it back, which should fix all my symptoms. I have two questions, could trouble breathing and tingling sensation in the face/neck, excessive yawning to catch breath because of shortness of breath be symptoms of pinch nerves from the narrowing? would those exercises work for the narrowing at the C3-C4 and C4-C5?
Hi Mac. I’m glad you are seeing a chiropractor for this. Face tingling /numbness may be related to problems in the neck. I can not comment about the yawning or shortness of breath. Best to talk about these concerns with your chiropractor and neurologist.
I had c5-c6 disc bulge and my physiotherapist intervention did not relive pain. When I started doing this neck band exercise, it relieved the pain quickly and my physiotherapist also recommended to continue this. Thanks a lot. I visit your RUclips channel regularly for the advice.

I have c5 c6 bulge causing severe dull ache pain into my shoulder. All videos and research I’ve done show these extension and chin tuck stuff however extension causes more pinch and pain so I can’t do it. What exercises and stretches are needed to open the space when extension causes more pinching. I’ve been dealing with pain for 7 months now
Running creates ground reactive forces that can affect your entire spine. A C5-C6 disc that is inflammed or the pain generator may get aggravated with running.

Hello Doctor, Thank you for sharing this video, it is very helpful. I wonder if people with this condition will be able to run again?
Hello. Thanks for sharing. If disc bulges are not inflammed or symptomatic, it may be possible. However, it is best that you get cleared by your doctor or therapist who examined you..

I have c5 c6 bulge causing severe dull ache pain into my shoulder. All videos and research I’ve done show these extension and chin tuck stuff however extension causes more pinch and pain so I can’t do it. What exercises and stretches are needed to open the space when extension causes more pinching. I’ve been dealing with pain for 7 months now
Hello. Exercises that cause pain should be avoided. Sometimes, going through partial movement before the pain range can be helpful.

Good day Dr. Can I ask if running can affect when you.have c5 c6 disc narrow? Thank you and Godbless
Running creates ground reactive forces that can affect your entire spine. A C5-C6 disc that is inflammed or the pain generator may get aggravated with running.
Thank you doctor
