March 20th, 2020. This date holds a special place in my heart. It was not only the very first Fortune Cookie Stream I watched, but it was the first night I watched Jon's Streams in general because a certain drummer named Jerod would co-comm that night. At this point in time, we were all 1 week in to the pandemic, and Needless to say it's been a long ride since that magical night. Not only will it be fun to relive old memories from this video but it will also be fun to see what I missed out that month before I joined that stream. It's now June 20th, 2021, roughly 15 months to the date after that first stream. With vaccinations being distributed and some form of normalcy starting to return, I just wanted to take the time and say Thank you Protonjon and the wonderful community you have for helping me get through this entire pandemic. Thank you for all of the eggs, games, and art shown on your stream.
@@tsyumamatsuthehavenofguard32 Yeah, Quinton Flynn has been voicing Silver since Sonic Generations (2010), and has been the voice of Raiden in every Metal Gear game. He's also the voice of Axel in the Kingdom Hearts series, as well as Henry in No More Heroes.
12:40 Aye, I know what happened. Probably had the infinite coins on and collected a coin. Then when you turn it off you just have that many coins. Not sure if someone explained it in the stream or not.
12:10 I would say did Jon just discover a new speedrun thing but dk64 has already been busted wide open so much people basically have a revolving door to the source code
Ah, yes. March 2020, the time when the world shut down due to V I R U S. At least we could always count on Jon during the stressful times of the pandemic.
Sonic Syndrome: When gamers suppress the bad stuff about a game and remember only the good. Most often happens with gamers who grew up with a game and have immense nostalgia for, though can also happen with younger gamers who only know the game second-hand from reviewers who constantly praise the game. This does not mean the game is bad, but very likely nowhere near as good as these fans make it out to be. Though known as Sonic Syndrome it is not exclusive among them, other notable examples are Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow as well as most PC games from the Late 90's and early 2000's. Some have proposed to call it the "Just the 90's in General Syndrome"
Super long shot does anyone know the name of the song the once played in a mario hack when he was in a water level with a custom background the song was techno ish and has a woman vocalizing but not really singing
Based on the description and what I used to put in videos back then, it might be Technopathetic from Jet Set Radio Future. See if this is the one - ruclips.net/video/-6lEm2ei3Kg/видео.html
7:15 Really? Only SOMEWHAT cynical? Who would qualify for "moderately cynical" to this game? Friedrich Nietzsche? 9:13 Jon, It's called a "Killer Move" for a reason.

March is the third month of the year, you watched this on the 20th of said month in 2020.
That’s three 20’s; 202020.
Coincidence? I think not. :V
Nobody knows you better than the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Personality Quiz.
Funny part is JoshJepson got the same result
45:20 The funny thing about all the Metal Gear Rising / Sonic comparisons? Raiden is voiced by the same guy who voiced Silver.
...wait, he is?

55:00 This is also the same thing that in a James Bond parody episode of American dad, Principle Lewis tried to melt Antarctica with hair dryers too.

You could call her 'Oppaiden'.
0:25 Ah yes, we open with masks, the that which would become emblematic of the times.
28:42 But first you need to take a DOOMP.
What
A what?
@@tsyumamatsuthehavenofguard32 A DOOMP? A digital-optical output mounted proxy. You'll need one to interface with the terminal.

11:16 - _"Scientifically Speaking, if I could say... this is bulls**t."_
11:27 I've been replaced by something even more powerful
25:10 are you my brother rex racer?
35:47 8008 bits
48:19 OTACON WHY!
57:13 Uno madness
31:54 I almost forgot I was part of that Goldeneye race. That was fun even with knowing literally nothing about the game.
12:10 I would say did Jon just discover a new speedrun thing but dk64 has already been busted wide open so much people basically have a revolving door to the source code
Ah, March. The month of darkness in 2020.
I was laid off due to the pandemic and I assume many others shared the same fate.
@jackthegamer (jackson) I wasn't so fortunate. It took me until this month for me to get a job.
39:30 what is this game, I need to know
EDIT: UNTIL JULY 8TH 2021 DEAD OR SCHOOL IS ON SALE ON STEAM
1:48 ROOOOOAR
*Nothing happens and runs away*
Still loved that the male Treeko is the sassy type. Thank you Pokémon Mystery Dungeon.
34:19 I can never look at Pikachu the same way ever again.
I see a new highlight video, I click on it. All of these highlights are fantastic as always! :)
What was that cool looking thing that said "this is not a game"
@@Emzy2608 198X. It's a sort of a series of minigames as a story-driven tribute to arcade game in the 80s.
@@WeirdVideoGames thank you!
Is that a gif of Morrigan holding Amaterasu? What’s that even from?
Did it actually give you Treecko? As in, the Partner Emile picked?
Sure did
7:02 Jon gets called out by the video game
The first game with the girl wearing tons of masks immediately made me think of Shigaraki Tomura from My Hero Academia.
Every video I've watched recently has this video in the recommended with that girls face just staring.
Conclusion, a portion Jon's stream viewers are rich people who love messing with people by giving them money
Now for the pandemic era highlights. At least the laughs never stopped.
48:43 "SPEEEEN"
*sees revengeance* oh this'll be good
some of my favorite moments are on this compilation
27:49 Box
I dunno, I find it hilarious about how Jon's giving away the codes in the latter streams.
21:06 The precursor to the mass exodus of WoW streamers!
what is that intro song? I'd like to look it up.

Hell yeah, Satan's 15th theme backing MBM, nothing else like it.
It's almost as if I suggested that myself.

But of course, if you say this about Final Fantasy 7 a bunch of 30-year-olds will come out of your attic and stab you.
There's a psychology term for this: memory bias.

Aw yes, this month had the uno game that took 3 hours.

Jon, It's called a "Killer Move" for a reason.
Ah, Murder By Numbers, what a fun yet silly game. That also aggressively says gay and trans rights.
F-first? Do people do that still?
If they do then that'd make me second here
No, they don't because they realized it makes them look stupid
ProtonJon can you please have a conversation with me now so that way I never have to talk to you on twitch again!
