Next time you come you need to try Nice Cream. They sell all kinds of vegan gelato, the owner is Italian. You also missed: Baganhood, Herbivore & if you like to try the vegan version of the traditional stir fry in Taiwan, another place to visit is CHAO. Hope you can come back soon! Ohhh, and sadly, Beyond Milk closed all the stores in Taipei.
Man, amazing video! I didn't expect that there are that many vegan options in Taiwan. I thought it would be especially hard finding broths without the animal products, which seems to be very prevalent in Asian countries from what I can tell. Definitely discovered some new foods & inspirations from this video. Also love the mix between food review & narrated vlog + the colors & scenery footage in this video are beautiful.
Glad you enjoyed it! I was also quite surprise to find so many places that prepare soup broths without bones. The nature there was really beautiful. Thank you for watching and enjoying my content.
This, like your Singapore visit, was a charming travelogue--I chuckled at your debunking of the ghostiness of the Hyatt, LOL!--and I appreciated that you also highlighted some of the history of this part of the world, like your focus on the National Human Rights museum. I was taking notes of where you went for that time, someday, in the future, when I may visit Taiwan. Thanks for filming this so beautifully, for narrating it so engagingly, and for posting!
Hi! thank you for all your contant encouragements. I try to mix food but also pleasure, relaxation, culture and history as my trips always revolve around these axes. I’m very pleased you enjoy watching them. The Human Right Museum encounter was totally unexpected. I didn’t know that small island had such a pivotal role in the history of Taiwan. They went though rough time, but are now very friendly and gentle people. I hope you can find time to visit it!
I had stinky tofu in San Francisco and found it pungent and delicious--an acquired taste for some, but an easy delight for me! Glad to discover this well-presented content!
Sounds great! I love stinky Tofu, its like cheese somehow. It’s comfort food. The one in Taiwan was mild, I think they like it that way. I had some in china that were way stronger in flavour. And thank you for your praise! I want my videos to please my viewers : )
This video was perfect timing for my upcoming visit to Taipei in November. Thank you for all the great recommendations. Your story telling style is really good!

Thanks for the tips! I missed Taiwanese ice-creams indeed!

Hahaha! I’m the opposite!
Great video! Thanks! BeyondMilk is permanently closed now for anyone wondering. :( If it's still open, I'd love to be corrected.
Thanks for the info!
Thanks for this! I will be in Taiwan, by myself, for the first time this August. I can't wait to try all the vegan food!
Have a blast!
@@ruthrehak4995 Same for me too! Haha! :)
It is heaven for vegans
it is, right? So many fully vegan restaurants there!
