It was when renovating their 19th century country house, that the partners, trained in art history, fashion design and photography, were inspired to open their design firm Casa Josephine in 2012. Since then they have worked on both residential and commercial projects in Spain and beyond. See how they have translated their love of rural traditions into a more contemporary style in their charming apartment that feels like a country home within the city. My only complaint is that this video was far too short. Their apartment has a very 1960s “Roman” vibe and I mean that with the highest of compliments.

Those plaid pants are a hoot. European men have no qualms about wearing stuff that just feels comfortable and they do look as though they are extremely comfortable. Bravo!
I’m not sure all European men would feel comfortable in those plaid/tartan pants…………..I would not for sure and I don’t imagine that anyone I know would. Flamboyant gay men perhaps, but I think that many of them would baulk at wearing anything as outrageously camp. You are hilarious!
@@bradpaul8576 Plaid/tartan trousers are nothing. I've seen worse in Europe - grown men in football strips while not attending a match; 3/4 shorts paired with Birkenstocks and socks; superskinny jeans stopping short of their ankles (still a thing) - all very cringe-worthy. Most of them are Brits and Eastern Europeans though. Mind, there are many European men who are absolute style beasts and they are a joy to behold.

@@bradpaul8576 Well, you'd definitely need to have the 'body' to wear something like that. If you're 250 lbs. or over, I certainly would not recommend it.

The simplicity of the apartment provides a perfect backdrop for their bold art choices. Nothing fussy or overly ornate. I like the bits of humor, especially the figure on the wall, holding the golden sun. I like that the space full of art is very personal for them, and doesn't feel 'put on' for show. Inigo reminds me of the art teacher I had in High School (here in California) for Senior Art Studio, always encouraging me to go bold. :)

This little apartment is completely overflowing with 'joie', and I am blown away by these men's floral installation at The Prada. Great video visit, although I like hearing the exchange between Susanna and the designer. This is the perfect visit to a "regular" apartment. I love their point of view and desire to make it their version of coastal. They really show off the idea of layering objects that are found over time. This cannot be duplicated... While you were there, I hope you visited Michael W Smith!
