Excellent interview with Bailey. I'm absolutely impressed by how articulate and poised he is especially given his relative youth. Been a fan of his for many years, and his content has helped some of my friends reinvigorate their love and passion for baseball.
He's unbelievably smart! Was fun to really nerd out on this episode. So cool to hear that his content has really resonated with a bunch of you. Thanks for checking out the interview!
Billionaires are some of the stupidest people in existence contrary to belief, they kinda just lucked in to being as such. Billionaires also always look at the short term loss over the big time gain 99% of the time which is certainly the reason Stanton decided “oh I’m gonna lose 800m? That’s definitely not worth it even if I make 1B back!”
You want to own a team because of the tax benefits. You get huge breaks and can deduct mucho things. They use these write-offs for other business ventures. They get away with paying taxes. Plus, it's almost the safest investment because it's going to go up not matter what. As much as we want to shit on owners, they know where they benefit. They don't care about you and I. We can complain about ownership being a public servant but that's bullshit. You know that...
@MarineLayerPod Did Mr. Stanton take over the Marine layer pod account? "Feels like A lot AVV wise."?? Hollander and CO know how to stretch those contract nuances out to maximize our unique pitching staff window. Front load / backload / incentives / ECT... Quit playing Penny pushers. Lol 😂 Love the banter and as always love the content. Go M's!
Great interview. I love your ambitions too. Definitely following y'all everywhere.

5 yr @ $155M for AB?
That still feels like a lot AAV wise, but better than 11 for 350 lol
