VAN TOUR | Creative Space Saving Conversion in a Sprinter

- Welcome to our van tour! We built our van with no previous experience over 6 months. We got super creative with a lot of space saving ideas for our conversion of our sprinter van since it's a Mercedes sprinter 144 wheel base. We built out an awesome kitchen, a cool stargazing feature for our convertible bed, and managed to fit a full bathroom (toilet + shower). Everything is powered by solar but we also have the option to use shore power and to recharge while driving. We have plenty of storage including a lot of room for garage space by using an easy convertible bed that still leaves room for a living room/work space.
We were hoping to receive our lift kit, new tires, and suspensions before heading out for our first adventure but unfortunately things are back ordered and will need to wait until we get back since we have some deadlines to meet. Can't wait to show you the van when we have those modifications!

I've seen 1000s of van conversion interior designs, I think you guys have maximized the space within a van. Unbelievable.

But seriously that loo in the food preparation area (which is minute btw) is truly a health hazard!
In a small van not many options, incredible that they could include toilet and shower. Not unhygienic, no one is going to multi task while they prepare food. Babies eat and poop at the same time, they’re fine, don’t worry about how others go to the toilet.
You two are such a cute couple. Love your van it's the best one I've ever seen laid out. And all that storage.

This is more a tiny appartment on wheels, then A VAN , espacially of all the comfort in perfect electricity , cooking, station, dry-toilet, shower and storage

I like everything except the van. The Mercedes Sprinters are notorious for breakdowns.

@@p3teytran I'm not really a Van person as I do off-road but I have friends who can not keep up with the service on this particular brand. Sometime it takes a forever to fix because the parts are not available.

Truthfully you can travel and basically live in a van like that what a great investment for what you two are doing career wise.

Love it. You could also put a magnet on the end of the rope you use to pull your bed and magnet it to the roof so you have easier access to it.

If you added an extra pulley in the back, right ceiling corner, you could run your bed rope to a lever and it would be even easier to lower and raise your bed.

Wahoo... the finished product looks amazing! Great use of the 80/20 and the sliders for the toilet and bed. I'm 6'3 and I probably can't copy your design. The only instant upgrade I can think of would be to add a magnetic screen for the back of the van
