I absolutely love this city update! The technique you guys used to acomplish the triangle shape for the ocean gas station is pretty genius. And the addition of the planes hanging from the ceiling and the added greenery is really nice!
I think the aircraft would look better with the landing gear removed, I know it is very easy to do so on the passenger plane, but I don’t know about the rest. It’s not necessary but I think it’s a little detail that would go a long way.
Cool. I think that you should take the landing gear "wheels" off the passenger plane. It doesn't make sense to have it flying and the landing gear down. Simon did an awesome job.
What would be nice for the residential area would be for the houses/yards to be decorated for Halloween and Christmas. Maybe Simon can work on that for the upcoming holidays. That would be fun to see.
Gas station design is fantastic. Great job Simon - I'm taking notes!. Might want to reverse the false door so the stud for the handle doesn't interfere with a building if it's placed right beside one.
Love how most of the lego planes look like they are accually flying around your lego city!!! You have really come a long way in your city development Bricksie... SO CONGRATS for all the hard work you put in to showoff and entertain us with this mind blowing city concept! Ever thought of naming your city? Also I know you said you wouldnt but it would be really cool to see a lego airport added to your city. :D
Hey bricksie, 3 things. 1. You should put one of the stunt planes upside down so the are doing a trick 2. You should try and add a fire helicopter or plane above the forest to extinguish someone’s barbecue 3. You should add some fences and little details to the alleyways in between the buildings Hope this helps
It might look better if you took the landing gear off the planes. My passenger plane looks great (hanging) without it. How I got to your channel was the hanging plane video you did back in your old house. I'm glad you finally hung them up with the new layout.
The lego city is looking better than ever! The gas station just amazes me. The amount of detail you guys were able to put into such a small space and all of the creative designs, it's just such a great build.
For the area with the 2 1/2 baseplates trail between the two sidewalks have you ever considdered doing a pedestrian road like they have in some cities...basically its a road that only people can use cuase there are barriers preventing cars using it. Might look good there as it would service the shops your put there and would look like they jsut closed off an old road that used to connect the two roads :) You could have people walking o nthe road and bikes and stuff there, would be a great area for stories for sure and something different than just a park.
Awesome video Bricksie! I'm really liking how your city is turning out! It really inspires mine! Oh and I recently made a tutorial on a mils road plate that has a left turn lane that u may want to try out! It would look great in your city!
Hey there, About the hanging of the UP house, I was one of the first that found a way to "hang" it. I have a video posted how I did it if you'd like to see. I have it mounted against a wall with metal "L" brackets. It still sits that way now.
This is my favorite city update yet! I have been keeping up its these updates since I rediscovered your channel a month or two ago, and man this one you got so much done. (Simon too!) I think next to the haunted house you should build a bmx park, with some dirt hills and stuff, because it would sorta fit the feel of a sketchier area like the haunted house gives! And it would leave view of the future farmers market open!
I wonder it you can add some vines to the back of the university to cover up some of the awkward grey pieces that are right behind the fountain. Could probably connect them using the technic holes at the base of the university instead of pulling the wall apart. Would give the fountain a nicer backdrop.
Love the new editions to the Lego city. Have you considered adding a graveyard next to the haunted mansion? and have it tie in style wise to the haunted mansion.
Love the updates, but a few sugestions, the Octan sign might show off better on the canopy, I would also switch positions of the airliner and the racing plane . Those are both my opinion, and who am I tto tell you what to do, it is your Lego city after all.
The gas station looks awesome, the triangle shape is cool. Awesome job Simon A gas station right next to train tracks isn't the most realistic though The planes above the city look really cool
You forgot the cheese colored wedges, Bricksie. As for the false door, perhaps making it so the door is more inside, the outside? That way you can place it flus to another building it's wall. .... Bricksie, who is flying that double winged stunt-plane? A ghost?
Nice update. Seing the new Octan gas station placed in both places makes me wonder of the train can still drive there without hitting to Octan gas station. I did not here you talk about it. Maybe it is not a problem, but maybe something you want to test it just to make sure if the train can still drive there or that the roof might be have to be made a bit shorter. Bit nice update of everything in the city!
Hey Jordan. Good job hanging the planes. I plan that doing myself in my lego room. Maybe you want to remove the wheels to make them look more in flight? Thanks for your updates.
Y’all did amazing with the gas station but I can just imagine the train getting derailed and hitting the pumps 💥 19:45 also a Hercules is a cargo airplane, that my friend is a Chinook
This has probably already been said but what about using command strips/hooks to hang the up house? I seen a comment suggesting placing it above the construction site which would look pretty cool. Loving the changes, the roads look awesome!
Consider Ivy and/or murals or graffiti for the building walls that face empty lots, especially like where the fountain is. Ivy on the side of the university make a lot of sense.
It may be the Canadian accent, but when you say Bonsai (small tree, literally “planted in a container”) it sounds like Banzai (literally "10,000 years of life", used as a triumphant cheer in modern Japan, historically as a dedication of actions to the Emperor before a kamikaze pilot crash).
Simon did awesome. Could u maybe show us how to make those plants I always get confused trying to build them. I think you should make your own type of buildings to add the empty base plates.
for the open baseplate across from the kwik-e-mart, you should add the up house. there’s a really cool back for the set to complete it on rebrickable as well as a baseplate yard for it. you should check it out
Watching your videos on Saturdays is always bad for my budget! Love seeing the progress on the Lego city, and always makes me want to get a new set. Amazing work!
Love the planes hanging 🤩but… I think you should get rid of the shelving in the background of the city because it really takes away a lot from the city and it is hard to see the planes clearly. Just a suggestion. Also some day will you paint the walls of city?
Where are your plane to put the farmers market? You should’ve said put like a beer garden sort of thing with a bunch of food trucks and stuff. Amazing work!
Maybe have a spot for the up house. have it like in the movie where its flying over the city and the structure of it still remains in a spot of the city
Simon did an awesome job.
Who is Simon? This is the first I have heard of this person .
@@johnybravo863Simon is the secondary brick builder that Bricksie hired
I absolutely love this city update! The technique you guys used to acomplish the triangle shape for the ocean gas station is pretty genius. And the addition of the planes hanging from the ceiling and the added greenery is really nice!

loving each city upgrade keep up the good work Bricksie

i was about to say this. that door stud will stop buildings going next to it.
Fantastic upgrade to the gas station much more modern and updated!
It always amazes me how you can rearrange things and find more space, with I could do that in my house

Big up to Simon, that guy has proper building skills !!

Dude, every update lately has been great and I love the hanging planes / helicopters. Keep going my friend ! Cheers. 🍻
🍻

Like Time Sq in NYC
gas station awsome flying planes
it's like watching tv show, everyday 4pm it's bricksie time ;)
With me it's 10 o'clock AM.
You could add the up house next to your custom sanctum
Awesome video Bricksie! I'm really liking how your city is turning out! It really inspires mine! Oh and I recently made a tutorial on a mils road plate that has a left turn lane that u may want to try out! It would look great in your city!

Thank you for letting us enjoy and watch you build and update your city
I love hanging planes from the ceiling as well as Star Wars ships. Glad to see you're doing it too.
This is my favorite city update yet! I have been keeping up its these updates since I rediscovered your channel a month or two ago, and man this one you got so much done. (Simon too!) it would be even more realistic if you had a mattress store and a bank on every block :)
I wonder it you can add some vines to the back of the university to cover up some of the awkward grey pieces that are right behind the fountain. Could probably connect them using the technic holes at the base of the university instead of pulling the wall apart. Would give the fountain a nicer backdrop.
Are you going to do a full city tour?
I love the new gas station. It's so cool!
Loving the planes. Agree with the other posters that say the landing gear is distracting to see and command hooks work great.
15:50 love the bench! And literally everything else lol
Love the new editions to the Lego city. Have you considered adding a graveyard next to the haunted mansion? and have it tie in style wise to the haunted mansion.

....
Bricksie, who is flying that double winged stunt-plane?
A ghost?
I especially love your parks, trees and bushes. Maybe you could add someone walking their dog? Just a suggestion.
On the outside of the gas station you should put an ice freezer

Hey Jordan. Good job hanging the planes. I plan that doing myself in my lego room. Maybe you want to remove the wheels to make them look more in flight? Thanks for your updates.
You should make another shipping yard with the extended space
Y’all did amazing with the gas station but I can just imagine the train getting derailed and hitting the pumps 💥
19:45 also a Hercules is a cargo airplane, that my friend is a Chinook
Keep up the great work Bricksie! I love your content! I’m so excited to go to my local Lego Store and pick up my Disney Castle! I can’t wait! 🏰💫
This has probably already been said but what about using command strips/hooks to hang the up house? I seen a comment suggesting placing it above the construction site which would look pretty cool. Loving the changes, the roads look awesome!
Simon did a good job with the gas station! I like what you did again with the city 👍👍👍
dont think ive commented in a while, but man the city been coming along great jordan. great great update here
I love that olive tree, it's my favourite tree style among all your trees.
Consider Ivy and/or murals or graffiti for the building walls that face empty lots, especially like where the fountain is. Ivy on the side of the university make a lot of sense.
It would be cool if you changed the tile behind the modular buildings to dark grey so it's like a dark alleyway
Awesome city update. You are right. Simon is that dude for that really cool octan gas station.
Kudos to Simon! Great job!

Hey bricksie y don’t u ad some translucent coloured bricks to the back of the stunt planes to make them seem as if they were putting on an air show
for the open baseplate across from the kwik-e-mart, you should add the up house. there’s a really cool back for the set to complete it on rebrickable as well as a baseplate yard for it. you should check it out
+ your assistant did a good job . Treat him good . 👍
That is amazing. I love that Octan Gas Station. I would like to create my own as well lol.
Minifig: 'I swear I'm going mad... every time I go to bed and get up... THE BUILDINGS HAVE MOVED!' 😀
Simons interior detail is amazing!’ Looks great!!
Watching your videos on Saturdays is always bad for my budget! Love seeing the progress on the Lego city, and always makes me want to get a new set. Amazing work!

that gas station looks fantastic. great job!!
7:35 Oh dear, that could lead to health department problems! 😉 😂
awesome video jordan the gas station upgrade looks amazing i love all the new upgrades in the lego city great job
maybe fountain would look better in the front of the university rather than on it's back?
14:00 What do you mean that looks perfect.😆
I really like the color scheme around the fountain. Inspiring stuff! ❤
imagine you're getting your gas and a train just whizzes by you
Nice job, maybe nice also to create some electrical charging stands at the beachparking?
I love this type of videos
Just put some shelving tracks on your ceiling and hang stuff from them.
Could use those Command Hooks. They can hold alot of weight, and are white so they blend in.
The planes are a great addition.
That's a great Gas Station build... I still really hate the new road plates though!
Where are your plane to put the farmers market? You should’ve said put like a beer garden sort of thing with a bunch of food trucks and stuff. Amazing work!
You should add the washroom, to take up the other space build a cooler for cold storage.
Robin Hood Bricks has a great technique for hanging planes.
I would try and use a brown plate under the cobblestone pathway might make an interesting contrast
Fantastic update. Feel inspired!
me as minifigure: a nice new gas station.
walk inside
"nice toilet"
open the door
"dan building construction...i need to toilet!!!!"
Some awesome updates to your city! Now does "Simon" actually exist, or he is an imaginary friend? lol Never actually seen him (maybe I missed him?).
He chooses to remain off camera, and I respect that
Totally understandable. Is it Simon Cowell? (just kidding. 😜
looks great! hopefully he becomes more comfortable over time and we'll get to meet the Great Elusive Simon one day!!
absolutely amazing update video
One suggestion I think you should use light grey quarter round tiles in the pathway
Also, you should make a gym with a treadmill, weights, and other gym equipment.
The fountain area needs TREES 🌴🌴🌴🌴
The Firewood instead of an icebox is the most Canadian thing. The city needs a bacon stand next! 😂 ✅
When we going to get a in person Simon interaction lol. He’s the guy we never get to see 😂😂
Also where’s the airport for the planes lol
Simon killed it, gas station looks great and quite realistic, details look great.
An idea for a future greenspace could be a playground for the children of the lego city!
You need to put the couch from friends at the fountain since it's next to the friends building
Awesome work with the gas station we call the gas swap and go in Australia
Love the changes.
Awesome job Simon. Great video
Awesome update. Love the hanging of the airplanes.
Can you get a celling fan above the lego city and attach a plane to it so it flys or do something with trains. My point is can you make a plane fly😊
Looks great, I would take the landing gear off the flying planes to make it more realistic
The hanging planes look great! Do you mean to still have the landing gear extended on them as if they are about to touchdown though?
I feel that you could easily fit the Ninjago city stuff if you moved buildings around creating an area big enough for them
Really cool :D Love the details!
LOL the planes have so much dust!
Hey bricksie, I thought this might be good for you to know but in front of privet drive, the fence for the kwik- e - Mart has fallen
Maybe have a spot for the up house. have it like in the movie where its flying over the city and the structure of it still remains in a spot of the city
