    I hate to say it but this was life changing. I have been dealing with this problem for years. After countless google searches and attempting fixes that didn't work, the only way I could overcome this issue was by unplugging the network line from the router and plugging it back in over and over until it finally connected. I eventually just left the computer on so I wouldn't have to deal with it. Thank you.

    Thank you ! It worked for me, i bought a chinese H61 motherboard and i had continuous ethernet disconnection on windows 10 and 11.
    What was weird is, on Linux (Ubuntu) never had a single disconnection !
    I disabled all the energy saving management settings and now everything works perfectly :)

    Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller on and off fix.
    Right click computer > manage > Device manager > network adapters > Right click Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller > Properties > Advanced > Energy-efficient ethernet > DISABLED. Power saving mode > DISABLED. Shut down wake on Lan > DISABLED.
    SUCCESS! Now my ethernet connection stays on. It screwed up after the last forced Windows 10 Update . 20H2. 12-12-2020.

    "oben-ub-the-star-menu, glig-oan-dere" . You may want to avoid voice-overs with a cold: it drops the breaks between words and softens the consonants a bit much.
    Also, whenever you notice you say "just go ahead and", snap that elastic band you should have around your wrist.

    What's the best way to see if your disconnect is coming from your ISP side, and not your hardware? I get random 1-3 second disconnect, sometimes more, but very random, and only see it in video games really due to polarisation on youtube etc: or the filters/buffers they use, I want full real time quality for my games (FPS CSGO and such).
    I've tried using Pingplotter, but it's hard to see the results accurately.

    • @danisuarezz

    • @savagehippie420
      @savagehippie420 3 года назад +1

      @@danisuarezz I can say that uninstalling the driver and selecting a driver from browse my computer for drivers and selecting the top one, worked out for me in the end, but before that I was fiddling with the adapter settings and that did somewhat help before I knew about the select drivers located on my pc. disabling many services and such, for some reason, I had to uninstall the faulty driver as it would sync with the new ones being downloaded, and not wipe itself, at least that's what I believe was happening, good luck and lemme know :)

    • @danisuarezz
      @danisuarezz 3 года назад

      @@savagehippie420 cool, would you bother to send me a link?

    • @savagehippie420
      @savagehippie420 3 года назад +2

      @@danisuarezz No links, just my own knowledge, read everything slowly before you start, but it's very hard to mess it up,go to your device manager, select your Ethernet card/adapter (usually gigabit family gbe)under network adapters, right click the network card you are using primarily, and before you uninstall make sure you have a way to access the internet, everything will be fine usually, so uninstall the driver by right clicking, then once that is done, right click it again and update driver, select browse for files on my computer, then select the top most driver or option/prompt they give you, that is what I did and once I did it it worked after 2 months of fiddling with my adapter settings, trying everything from reinstalling windows to wiping my drives clean, it was messing my internet up to where I could not play anything without lagging for seconds at a time.
      The problem more than likely, is that you have a damaged driver which is trying to work with the newer drivers because it was not replaced, it is broken, but still working basically, assuming you have updated all your drivers, you wouldn't think your problem is a corrupt driver because USUALLY windows replaces the old drivers with the new, but sometimes they hang around and cause more trouble than usual.
      The last solution would be to wipe your drivers, and download new ones, so the old don't conflict with the newly downloaded drivers.
      2 months it took to realize this was the problem, because I have never updated my drivers manually, windows always does it, but not always the best. Let me know if you have trouble understanding, and good luck.

    I tried everything I reinstalled the latest drivers manually and even changed power settings for my wifi adapter just incase, It would usually disconnect while gaming after a couple of hours for no apparent reason would just say "unidentified network, no internet" as my internet was perfectly fine on all other devices and I just could not put up with it as I had to restart my pc (and reset its network drivers every single time) and restart router as the only fix but then it happens again and again, hopefully this works.

      gbe stands for gigabit broadband(I think)ethernet.
      Look at you speed and duplex options, it may maybe not be set correctly or set to auto neg maybe it is breaking something, try setting to 1gbps full duplex if I'm not mistaken, because half duplex only means to send/receive not sure which one, but full is usually the one you want.

    I got one. Bullshit !!!! Guys. Absolutely "NONE" of these things worked for me. If you are one of those who fall in the same category what actually "DOES" work is to get that damn Windows Defender out of the picture. With each update Microsoft makes it more impossible to shut this damn thing down. Restart in safe mode, use DControl and the bastard will be gone and you will not only no longer disconnect but your internet will speed up 10 fold. I am sure Microsoft will get wind of this posting and act accordingly to their standards but I will always, and I mean "ALWAYS" get the better of them. I won't be making a a video on RUclips in hopes that it takes longer for them to get wind of this. Remember: Windows Defender is the culprit !!!!
