Thank you! Been dealing with this off and on for months and finally searching for the problem under the network adapter name brought me here. So far so good!
I hate to say it but this was life changing. I have been dealing with this problem for years. After countless google searches and attempting fixes that didn't work, the only way I could overcome this issue was by unplugging the network line from the router and plugging it back in over and over until it finally connected. I eventually just left the computer on so I wouldn't have to deal with it. Thank you.
Thank you ! It worked for me, i bought a chinese H61 motherboard and i had continuous ethernet disconnection on windows 10 and 11. What was weird is, on Linux (Ubuntu) never had a single disconnection ! I disabled all the energy saving management settings and now everything works perfectly :)
You can also try turning off power saving for this device (in the same settings window as shown in the video, just enter Power Management Tab). It solved the issue for me.
On my Network Connection Properties window I don't have as many things listed like shown on the video. Can't change what needs to be changed like mentioned in the video either.

What's the best way to see if your disconnect is coming from your ISP side, and not your hardware? I get random 1-3 second disconnect, sometimes more, but very random, and only see it in video games really due to polarisation on youtube etc: or the filters/buffers they use, I want full real time quality for my games (FPS CSGO and such). I've tried using Pingplotter, but it's hard to see the results accurately.
@@danisuarezz I can say that uninstalling the driver and selecting a driver from browse my computer for drivers and selecting the top one, worked out for me in the end, but before that I was fiddling with the adapter settings and that did somewhat help before I knew about the select drivers located on my pc. disabling many services and such, for some reason, I had to uninstall the faulty driver as it would sync with the new ones being downloaded, and not wipe itself, at least that's what I believe was happening, good luck and lemme know :)
@@danisuarezz No links, just my own knowledge, read everything slowly before you start, but it's very hard to mess it up,go to your device manager, select your Ethernet card/adapter (usually gigabit family gbe)under network adapters, right click the network card you are using primarily, and before you uninstall make sure you have a way to access the internet, everything will be fine usually, so uninstall the driver by right clicking, then once that is done, right click it again and update driver, select browse for files on my computer, then select the top most driver or option/prompt they give you, that is what I did and once I did it it worked after 2 months of fiddling with my adapter settings, trying everything from reinstalling windows to wiping my drives clean, it was messing my internet up to where I could not play anything without lagging for seconds at a time. The problem more than likely, is that you have a damaged driver which is trying to work with the newer drivers because it was not replaced, it is broken, but still working basically, assuming you have updated all your drivers, you wouldn't think your problem is a corrupt driver because USUALLY windows replaces the old drivers with the new, but sometimes they hang around and cause more trouble than usual. The last solution would be to wipe your drivers, and download new ones, so the old don't conflict with the newly downloaded drivers. 2 months it took to realize this was the problem, because I have never updated my drivers manually, windows always does it, but not always the best. Let me know if you have trouble understanding, and good luck.

Well, gonna give this a shot, I've been having issues with random disconnects on a Asus x570 tuff with the Realtek ethernet controller, I never really had issues with is before, but its gotten worse, and Event Viewer keeps throwing out reset errors, seems to happen a lot when I access my server in the other room, I swapped out switches, routers, was gonna order a usb ethernet adapter, but if this works, then thats awesome!
I have this same adapter and it keeps disconnecting, but there are no alerts or any type of signal that indicate theres an error, the computer just acts as if theres no LAN cable connected, its pissing me off. The lack of alerts makes me think its a hardware issue, if I do what this video explains, am I in risk of damaging something in my computer?
I tried everything I reinstalled the latest drivers manually and even changed power settings for my wifi adapter just incase, It would usually disconnect while gaming after a couple of hours for no apparent reason would just say "unidentified network, no internet" as my internet was perfectly fine on all other devices and I just could not put up with it as I had to restart my pc (and reset its network drivers every single time) and restart router as the only fix but then it happens again and again, hopefully this works.

I used this method but when I turned on the battery AC reconnect option it forced my internet to 100 mbps max, which is a far cry from the 1 gb it should be. gbe stands for gigabit broadband(I think)ethernet. Look at you speed and duplex options, it may maybe not be set correctly or set to auto neg maybe it is breaking something, try setting to 1gbps full duplex if I'm not mistaken, because half duplex only means to send/receive not sure which one, but full is usually the one you want.
