Whole bream! Reminds me of the Airbnb we stayed which had a pub next door. Had 3 whole Bream with draught beers delivered from the pub kitchen to our own garden. Loved it so much, same order the next night. 3 days left! omg - don't know what the lag time is on your posting. Has the inspector been and gone? Well done folks.
I have to correct you. There are "fresh water" bass. I live in Minnesota and just about all the lakes around here have both small mouth and large mouth bass. A nice 2 to 3 pounder is a wonderful sport fish, they put up quite a fight. Tastes pretty good too.
The Daughters room is looking great , love the headboard that was a great idea , well deserved fish dinner at the end of all that ! Looks delicious! My brother had the unfortunate title holder of drunk uncle at a family gathering lol the kids shortened it to Drunkle ! And it’s stuck !! 😂 he’s now Drunkle when the kids see him lol
Please carpet Keira’s room and paint the chipboard walls. The chipboard doesn’t look cosy and her room would look luxurious with carpet. The headboard is great.
Clare your headboard you made and the floors are lovely!! 🥰 Rob, nice work on the plywood trim and doors, I’d never thought of plywood trim but it turned out really nice! Are you going to do plywood baseboards as well? (I think you say skirting boards over there) The fish meal looked so quick and easy, and by your reactions, it tasted great as well! 😂 Love you guys! 😊💚
So much done this week, hope the bees were ok and all went to plan, 👍great idea for the headboard, citrus olive oil 😮never heard of that, the fish meal looked delicious
All good, the bees are little effort in the autumn/winter. It's better to leave them alone bar feeding, and hope that they will survive any cold spells. Lots more recycling coming where that headboard came from, fish is a favourite in this house 🙂
Claire I love the headboard. Definitely giving me ideas to cover an old fashioned dark headboard I have. You have much of the tape left on your windows and doors. My windows have just been delivered with a note recommending the tape is removed by 6 weeks or there’s a risk that the sun/weather degrades the glue so that you’ve a harder job later to clean them. I’m hoping we have longer than that as I want to wait till my external plaster done so let us know how you get on when you remove it. Rob- thanks for the fish dish. Bass is my favourite. And my mouth is watering watching the pair of ye.
Stop🙈 I know, the stickers on the windows are fecking stuck fast, so that was a fail. However the tape around on the frames seems to come off fine, I like you was keeping it on to keep them clean.
We were advised by friends and family to get these induction protectors, to prevent the glass getting scratched. We bought them from Amazon, and I have to say they have been amazing 🙂
Dinner looks delicious 🐠. I’ve never had a tart cherry tomato. 🤔 I’ll have to look into dark cherry tomatoes. Is that what they’re called? Our cherries tomatoes are always super sweet, almost like candy. Thanks for the video Have a great week ✌️💚
I'm not sure what Rob meant by tart but it may have been an under ripe tomato. The small black ones are called black cherry and they are by far the tastiest of the lot 😊
I saw recently that you’re not meant to silicone inside the slower doors. Maybe you meant putting sealant inside maybe you meant outside so just FYI. I didn’t know so have sealed a few showers in inside (double seal was my logic) but apparently if inside leaks water behind door rail it builds up pressure and more likely leaks into grout/rail screws.
@@WestCorkWander My partners shower was getting some side rail mold - which I’d siliconed all the way up on inside - and I was YouTubing the reasons/fix and consensus seemed to be that you shouldn’t silicone on inside to allow moisture to escape back into shower.
@@WestCorkWanderThere’s a derelict house in Roscommon I’m eyeing up for 2 years (big significance for me due to former occupant) and I’m trying to figure if I’d ever be able to take the plunge. I’m in Portlaoise currently. I’m viewing your pains and successes with great interest - asking myself if I want the stress of the low moments and if I could earn your achievements. Anyway - it’s very helpful to see someone going through it to help me decide. Great content and you guys should be so proud.
You know what the whole thing is a massive eye opener, learning experience and challenge that I feel everyone should have a go at. Go for it definitely, life is way to short 😉
I like your fancy pencil sharpener Rob 🤣 Totally with you on the lack of any quality metal for the screws and nails now, not really fit for purpose. Even a radiator nut split when my husband tightened it, he is quite strong, but not superman strong! 💪
Rob - How would you know if it was leaking behind the mixing valve? I could wait to see if you mention more about it but comments are good for the algorithm so why not 🤷🏼♀️ ✌️💚
@@WestCorkWander Have faith in him and all will go to plan. Ye have done fantastic work. I'm so looking forward to the walk through video of the whole house when it's all finished to your satisfaction.
@@MRS.DeniseMarsh You know what Denise, your right, I do have massive faith in him. We would not be where we are now if it wasn't for his expertise and innovation 😍
I understand, no problem, I'm sure Oliver time I may decide to change, but since putting it in, I have seen so many people also using in similar ways 🙂
Me too. Not a fan of visible seams in the OSB either. I would paint the tiles showing outside the shower enclosure white, to look less obvious and will look like part the walls. Each to their own taste of course!

Whole , especially Trout or Salmon
Yes, definitely 😄
I would put access panels through the wall in room behind the bathroom. Makes trouble shooting/repairs easier.
Yes we will have an access panel through from the bathroom side and probably from the hall side too 😊
Can't believe a channel as good as this doesn't have way more followers ❤️
Maybe we are not for everyone, but we are thrilled with the amount of followers we do have 🙂
Loved the headboard Clare! 🎉
Easy way to make a bed look great 😃
I generally don’t like fish but I was wanting to try that!
Rooms looking really nice, keep it up guys
You should! Thankyou 😊
The kids rooms are looking good.😊
Yes, my daughter thinks so😊
“Drunk uncle” wasn’t expecting that lol. I think it’s time you admitted …”yes, I am pencil sharpening challenged” 😆😂
Haha,love it 😂
We eat lots, and lots of fish here in Alaska. My favorite is King Salmon and black Cod .. so yummmmny 😊🎉
Can't beat a good wild fish!
@@WestCorkWander absolutely!
@@WestCorkWander being commercial fishermen we frown bigly on farmed fish. :)

Glad you enjoy it! 😊
It's really coming together now guys.
Slowly, so many little things to do, it's easy to get stuck in something which is not a priority 😊

The deadline was to get Ciaras room done🤫, so nothing terribly exciting. Nothing yet from the CoCo 😕

Apologies, we forgot about the American fishes😊
21:30 As of today, I’m almost 18 months sober (547 days), I’ve not missed being the drunk uncle at the wedding, lmao!! 🤣🤣🤣
Well done, that is quite an achievement 🙂
Put some black corking around the windows will help to seal them after you've repaired the wall.loving your videos hic
Thanks for the tip, we will look into this when I get going on it 🙂
Great work. Moving along nicely. Can you do a chicken & broccoli bake sometime?
Great suggestion! We have never tried this, I'll put on the list 🙂

Drunkle, this made us laugh, poor fella, what an awful nickname 🤣
We have Jysk in Canada too. Their textiles are nice (and cheap)
Great shop 😊
Lovely result on headboard. Getting there. 😊😊
Thank you! 😊
The time Clare needed to answer Rob’s questions about the bed shouldn’t count. Interference! 😂
@@dishmurphy6539 I like the nicely upholstered bed board,Claira did a good job.
She sure did 😊

Yes, plywood baseboards, we were going to do larch however we need to conserve the remaining larch for the inside window sills.
You may have started a trend with that bedhead, looks great.
Great idea 😊
Great doings one of these days everything will be in order
Thankyou 🙂
The headboard looks amazing
It's just the start of our recycling 😉
Screw that roller to a broom handle and then you down have to crawl around on your knees finishing the floor. Great job on the renovation!
Yes I did consider this, however I can see where I've been when I'm in my knee pads, I know I'm a bit of a perfectionist 😊

Have you tried fish finger and lime marmalade sandwiches, with mustard and mayo ?? sublime
No, sounds great 😃
You should do a whole different cooking channel :)
