And now he has finally gained control of himself when he transforms. Gohan Beast has fought MUI Goku and proved himself equal to his father. Stronger, powerwise, but not as good as a fighter.
Another detail people over look, piccolo told goku he could sense brolys power all the way from new planet vegeta to the lookout on earth. We don't exactly know how far it is away from earth but, paragas said earth is in the northern hemisphere from New planet vegeta. So brolys power could be sensed acrossed the universe.

Broly had EVERY advantage at that moment, a better position, with Gohan having a tough time applying strenght, Gohan being tired and wounded, and he still OVERPOWERED Broly. SSJ3 would have smoked Broly. And that was after Broly's zenkai. Teen Gohan as a SSJ2 would have anihilated Broly in the first movie.

The movies aren’t canon, but rather spinoffs of main saga story lines, they’re essentially what-ifs like what if Goku fought 100% Frieza and you get Cooler, or what if Cell fought SSJ2 Gohan to the death rather than survive his self destruction and you get Bojack. Broly’s what if is what if the Z fighters fought Super Perfect Cell without SSJ2.

I mean, I'm not even sure if Full power Legendary Super Saiyan Broly could. Goku is a much better candidate. A little fact nobody remembers about the famous kamehameha that broly tanked: the zfighters were defeated in the first scramble, then piccolo arrived to give everyone senzu beans. Wich means this is a kamehameha from a mastered super saiyan goku after receiving a zenkai boost.

Goku literally went to the south galaxy and saw the destruction from broly. The movie literally takes place in the southern galaxy.

This is the only time where they made a villain so OP that they had to reuse the same method they used to defeat Lord Slug. He would tank everything they threw at him while he just laughed and grew stronger and stronger. He’d take some attacks and then power up and erupt in ki blasts to dissipate his gains or he’d self destruct. He seriously got nerfed in the other two movies.
That’s why it’s so annoying the way he was beat, because I find it impossible that Goku magically goes from getting his shit rocked while trying to jump broly to completely annihilating him, zero struggle

Not to mention Trunks having long hair, and Gohan having his hair cut.
Definitely post Time Chamber, but pre-cell games. That level of Kamehameha definitely would've damaged Cell, looked to be of similar strength to the Instant Kamehameha
The movies aren’t canon, but rather spinoffs of main saga story lines, they’re essentially what-ifs like what if Goku fought 100% Frieza and you get Cooler, or what if Cell fought SSJ2 Gohan to the death rather than survive his self destruction and you get Bojack. Broly’s what if is what if the Z fighters fought Super Perfect Cell without SSJ2.

A little fact nobody remembers about the famous kamehameha that broly tanked: the zfighters were defeated in the first scramble, then piccolo arrived to give everyone senzu beans. Wich means this is a kamehameha from a mastered super saiyan goku after receiving a zenkai boost.

Goku literally went to the south galaxy and saw the destruction from broly. The movie literally takes place in the southern galaxy.

Broly was probably more powerful that's most likely true, after all saiyans do get more powerful after brink-of-death experiences. Which means by then Broly is easily more powerful than Super Cell and even more powerful than Hatchiyak aswell. It is a mistranslation on everyone's part, the south quadrant is not a galaxy, it consists of multiple galaxies, but people have miscontrued it, thinking Broly annihilated the entire whole south quadrant instead. We also dont know how long it actually took him to annihilate that galaxy. But he sure was powerful though, even as a boy he wipes planets with a drop of one his green bombs. Vegeta and Frieza were grown ups when they were doing that.

This is the only time where they made a villain so OP that they had to reuse the same method they used to defeat Lord Slug. He would tank everything they threw at him while he just laughed and grew stronger and stronger. He’d take some attacks and then power up and erupt in ki blasts to dissipate his gains or he’d self destruct.
