Jacob is amazing! I just saw him at oceans calling festival which is an amazing festival! It was pouring rain and in the fall and he said to the massive crowd come meet him after the set. Blink 182 played next at a different stage so many didn’t but those of us who did met him and jumped in the ocean with him. Epic!

I'd never call myself a huge sublime fanboy, but I did find their music enjoyable and unique. So to see Jakob take up the mantle in such an admirable and mature way is really nice. I'd like to think that being Jakob's dad was one of the things the Bradley was most proud of and I believe the way Jakob has stepped up to the plate with the love and respect, while keeping an eye towards the future would make his dad incredibly proud.
punk and reggae belong together. back in the 90's, i pushed my skatepunk band to write a few reggae songs, even though i was just the drummer. we played quite a few shows with ska bands back then and once we added a few reggae songs to our set, the fan response was just great so we threw a few more in there. fuuuck good times. i still miss it.
every band and family situation is different. I love that Wolf Van Halen is doing is own thing. On the other hand are guys like Dweezil Zappa carrying on the torch of playing his fathers entire catalogue. Both are great. Jakob probably didnt have to do the Sublime thing, but sounds like he's putting the fans first despite his own reservations and hes doing it justice. pretty cool

Saw them once in Baltimore which was awesome, but I saw them in Japan okay for me and one other American and 7 Japanese people. Plus my Brazilian gf and that’s it! After the show lyn-z invited us to hang and meet them all. I got pics and autographed used drum sticks from them! So cool

Oh man, I Didn’t know he was doing this until that Coachella video popped up on my feed. I wasn’t really paying attention to the Rome stuff but I knew it wasn’t Rome singing. As soon as I saw Brad’s guitar in his hands, a wave of goosebumps shot throughout my body and I knew immediately that it was Jacob. One of those rare times where I didn’t have to hit pause and google it. But man, it just felt so right, then I started tearing up and kinda lost it for a minute. In High School I started getting into heavier stuff but Sublime was a big part of those years. Shit, I just remembered my band played What I Got immediately followed by 5 Minutes Alone. At our schools battle of the bands. 😂 Haha what a ridiculous matching of songs that was. Lol
