Lowkey SHOOK. I like the way you were able to make the foundation work even though your shade didn't exactly match. That's a good sign. Colourpop should sell sample sizes like that too. 3 for that price of 1 foundation, so you have options when you match.

Me 4!!! I still think it may be a bit to red for my liking. My neck area is really yellow so if I go too red I will literally look like I have a mask on and who wants to look like that or bring foundation all the way down😆.
Guyanesepocahontas I have the same problem and when foundations are too red they tend to oxidize to orange on me and girl that’s a look I’m trying to avoid.

Ooh 🤑 Colorpop are going to be in the money with this foundation. The shade range is amazing and I already love the concealer so I know I'm going to love the foundation. It performed really well on your skin too despite it being so hot.

hmmmm the "get you some sun" comment/joke referring to the lightest shade....idk man. Anywho, thank you for this review for the wear test, it looks sooooooo good and high end! COME THROUGH COLOURPOP! So proud of them for considering extremely fair/albino ppl AND deep skin even acknowledge a deep vs a very deep selection.

I'm not the whitest of the white but I am usually close to the lightest shade of the average foundation if not the lightest (by this I mean they are generally lacking in the close to albino shade category).
Anyway, I was not offended by her comment, I thought it was funny and cute, not mean spirited at all. Life is too short to be offended by things that no one intended to be offensive. Heck, life is too short to care about the comments of people who intend to offend, they aren't worth your time. Still, I don't think she was mean spirited in the least (although this is the first video of hers I have ever seen, however, I enjoyed it so I am going to check out some more!).
Well, since you mentioned that you aren't extremely fair, then I guess it would be obvious that you aren't offended sooooo okay...cool? lol. I never claimed she was a mean-spirited person. You wrote all of this as if the bulk of my review wasn't praising the brand AND her review. The comment didnt sit well with me because I was thinking about just any old very pale person so you, a pale person, were not who I considered when I heard it. Who I WAS considering were actually albino ppl or others who are really pale due to skin conditions and would LOVE to "get some sun", but have lupus... Or someone who would love to tan all over but have vitiligo, where some parts of their bodies are actually that first color and rather than making themselves even toned and hiding what can be seen as imperfections, they may choose to embrace it. The reason I chose to voice my concern with the comment is because I know what it feels like to have comments told to me about skintone and how it SHOULD be so I wont just let this slide because its about super pale skin versus very deep skin. The comment about "geting some sun" would be no different if Ellarie was pale and swatched a very deep shade on her face and said" whew, if you're this dark, dont EVER go outside" SAME THING. So again, Idk how you mentioning that you weren't offended was suppose to sway my consideration, but okay. I encourage you to check out every video, Ellarie is stunning and has always been an inspiration.
Michele Davis I guess we have to agree to disagree. I tend to be more laid back. I reject the idea of everyone desperately trying to never say anything that may be misconstrued as offensive, that is just putting shackles on everyone's speech and I don't think that is right. Walking on eggshells is no way to live life.
Yeah, I think there are jerks who deliberately want to hurt others, I try to ignore them and not give them the attention they so desperately desire until it is impossible to ignore then I probably would condone punching them in the throat.

Michele Davis i'm pale and yeah i was kind of feeling the same about that comment. Don't get me wrong i love her and the video is great, and it was obviously meant as a joke. Still, I always get comments about how I need to fake tan from random strangers etc and always have to mix my foundations to get the right shade, so yeah, it made me feel a bit idk. No hate though because I'm sure it wasn't meant in a harmful way. 😌 x

Last time I purchased anything from Colourpop, they only had matte liquid lipsticks and super shock shadows lol. Maybe I’ll see what the hype is about from their most recent releases!
helloandreamae I’m not a fan of their matte liquid lips or their liquid highlighters but I love just about everything else they have 😻
Girl!! You're totally missing out!! Try their Matte X lippie stix they're the best lipstick out there. Lix lipsticks are awesome too for something less matte. Pressed shadows are good as long as you use primer. I have pressed blush and bronzer from them that I like. Supershock highlighters are to die for. If a loose highlighter is your thing then you'll love theirs. I personally love their concealers. CP rarely has a flop so go for anything that catches your eye!

Speaking of undertones and CoverGirl tru blend foundation..... That is theee only drugstore foundation that offers a shade with a pink/cool enough undertone. I love that foundation & it’s inexpensive too!

You're stunning! I love the matte look when first applied but even at the end of the day with your natural oils coming through, it's a lovely dewy finish! I cannot wait to try this foundation!

i was i cant remember why i changed my mind : / but the ones that i did swatch even off camera didnt really have an olive tint...theres a full article of them on popsugar that may be helpful
