Dien M you are literally preaching to the choir mama. I was born with intense purple tinged deep set eyes, fair skin AND an intensely dark full face and body’s worth of freckles. I was constantly teased in my youth and inquired as to whether I was experiencing physical abuse at home. I hated the way I looked and desperately wanted plastic surgery to look “normal”. It wasn’t until I turned 30 and truly learned on a deeply spiritual/internal emotional level that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder- and one day I decided that I am beautiful and wasn’t going to hurt myself and violate my body by going under the knife to adhere to society/cultural “beauty”. Once I chose and accepted myself I became free and fell in love with the way the universe made me. I support anyone’s right to go under the knife but for me- it just was accepting the belief that I am not enough just as I am. I support you girl and wish you love and peace- also I am out shopping barefaced proudly showing off my deep set bruised looking purple eyes and I love them!

@@tiara8738 baking is when u put that powder she put on but leaves it on for a while and then blends it. She did not do this which is good for some of us because it can make eyes look dry. She only applied the translucent powder to set the concealer so it doesn’t come off and get into creases etc. Hope this helped.

Yes. It is because it brought back the matteness to her undereyes. When it was wet (like when she put moisturizer and foundation), that's when her deep set eyes were emphasized. I guess it's the way how light affect dry and wet surfaces

I'm just 19 and I have deep set eyes and mind you I get more than 8 hours of sleep everyday, drink more than 2L of water and exercise. So it's just genetics, my mom has them to. I used to be so insecure about my eyes but now I like them. I hope people can normalize deep set eyes. Y'all are gorgeous queens!

Wayne Goss does grt video's with grt tips for these kind of makeup technics.its the skin pigmentation and shadow under your eyes below the orbital bone that make your eyes look like thr deep set or puffy.
It sadly doesn’t work as well on pale skin. I used the same Ben Nyw powders after watching an older video using the same products and don’t get anywhere near the same results 😭😢
@@TheChristel22 i was looking into the ben nye poweders and i think maybe banana wouldnt totally work for pale skin. but there are lots of other shades! maybe one of those would work. i was looking at some comparison videos have you tried the other shades?

i’ve been so self conscious about my deep set eyes/dark circles for as long as i can remember (doesn’t help i’m pale af). definitely gonna give this a go
I'm also really pale and it's seems like I can't use any lighter colors or else it won't look very natural (which is what I usually go for). Do use the exact technique this girl uses or do you tweak it around a bit?
WingRiddenAngel i use two different shades of concealer. tarte shape tape in fair neutral and maybelline age rewind (i can’t remember what the shade name is but it’s the lightest one). i used the age rewind for most of my undereye bc its a similar colour to my foundation, then a wee bit of shape tape to brighten directly under my eyes. i found it worked well but im still playing about it with it

I’ve had that problem, it’s inherited and to some people it looks like I don’t get enough sleep, when I do most times. So I have to be using concealer.

I used to have them but I used aloe vera gel at night after washing my face and in the morning under make up. It tightened the under eye area perfect!!! The makeup tips are a great plus!!

this has to do with bone structure- not aging or dark circles. I've had deep set eyes since i was a baby- so because of my high brow bone it cats a literal shado wand makes it look like i have dark circles. just bone structure! glad it helped you but it probably wasn't deep set eyesockets if aloe gel fixed it because topical gel cant fix bone structure. maybe you also had dark circles or aged skin on top of deeper set eyes?

Just remembered to update! I have stuck with this concealer technique ever since watching and it works the best for me than anything else I’ve tried. I use the Tarte Shape Tape for concealing and the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes. Thanks so much again for this! 💕💕

i'm SHOOK!! this shyt worked fr! i just went to ulta and bought the makeup revolution concealer and the makeup revolution baking powder in "terra cotta" cuz banana looked too light for me, and i used ur technique and also took it from the corners of my eyes cuz its extremely deep set starting there and took it down the side of my nose which finally slimmed my nose down, and did everything u did. wowwww! i'm completely feeling myself, i must've taken 100 selfies today lol thank you soooo much!!

I don't wear it either. I do like the way it looks and im amazed at the quality of her natural skin eg no spots. I'm wondering what she does for her skin care routine as nowadays there's at least 4 layers of products to complete any look.

This is so helpful. Usually when I put on foundation and concealer I can still see the deep lines from my eye bags. The powder part really did a big change 👌
