I do looove Strange Horticulture too but after playing this one a bit more I think of them as quite separate games. SH feels more cozy-and-slightly-creepy-story-based vs the potion making gameplay in this one. I'm just so happy we have both games to play!!
I’m always an alchemist in any game that allows it, it usually makes you rich and you have a cool tool belt like Batman for lots of different situations when you need a boost

Okay, if it makes you feel better, it does NOT work well without a mouse. I made my partner play this on the Steam Deck and he struggled soooo hard. It really needs a mouse to work perfectly!
