Cory is my favorite skater of all time and this is nostalgic as hell, I haven’t skated at all in the last like 5 years but this makes me want to get back into it.
this part is a mix of throwaway and game changing tricks, i love this part so fucking much. too bad he hasn't pushed himself since pretty sweet. I get it, skateboarding should be done purely out of passion and love, but watching cory's recent parts is like watching picasso draw stick figures because he likes that more than to create a new masterpiece
VJCS2411 Weed’ll do that. I’ve been in and around skateboarding for 30 yrs or more and Cory is by far my all time fave, saying that I know exactly how weed affected my skating and I’m betting it’s had a similar demotivating effect on him..
I’m going to reserve my judgement until he’s out and whether or not he decides to put out another part, who knows what a clean and focused Cory would be capable of..
This video was a huge inspiration to anyone skating in the PNW, seeing Cory kill all of our favorite spots, was a honor to see how far he went in his career. Can't wait to see what he does when he gets out of the pen April 2021!
Tom Campbell you made that comment 2 months ago but say that he’ll be out in a year. That’s still over a year from when you made the comment. Just stop 😂😂😂
and you thinking you sucks at skating but if you found this part and watch it somehow its like whispering into your souls telling that you simply can't quit because expecting too much in skating and this part keeps you skate out there everyday and encouraging you to get better in skateboarding... SO INSPIRING
hweenmask Trust me, dude. I live a few blocks from the spot. If you were able to go and look at the rock situation in the alley he bombs switch afterwards, you would agree w/ me 100%.
***** Incorrect, almost every spot in this video is in the Puget Sound area. I haven't been to every spot in the video, obviously. But almost all of the decent sized gaps he does stuff down I have been to. Obviously the fence gap isn't the largest, but I'm saying there's more to it than that. The alley isn't even cement, it's just gravel, and he bombs it... Switch... I know it's hard for you to understand due to you having never been there. At the end of the day this is all opinion though so it doesn't really matter.
This will forever and always be one of my favorite parts, when it first came out I didn't know what to think.. I'd never seen someone this good before.
Anyone else here in 2020 enjoying one of the single greatest parts of all time? Hopefully not long to go until he’s back doing what he was born to do. That is of course if that is what he chooses to do..
crazy how he came out of nowhere never saw him in any of the Manik videos or seattle scene then he drops all these videos on RUclips around 07-09 and became one of the goats. this part reminds me of Scott Kane in bootleg 3000 in that its a 18-19 year old kid who's just better than everyone else
Nollie champ, Merlin flip was masterfully landed - all in all a great part. He seems to be such a nice guy to hang out with. One of the most underrated skaters out there.
Such an amazing skateboarder and so happy he's from the PNW! I remember watching this video when I was younger and getting super hyped seeing him skate spots that I've visited before.
I hate watching this video, not because it's bad; in fact, it's my favorite video part of all time. It just makes me sad how Cory does not seem to have improved much lately. This part is just heavy as fuck yet his new parts are not that great. I miss the old Cory. If this part would have been released this year, Cory would've gotten SOTY for sure. EDIT: I know Cory has improved in many ways. He can skate pretty much anything, I am sure about that. I think I didn't express myself correctly with this comment, so I'll try again: I believe Cory has a HUGE potential and he can be one of the greatest skaters of all time. I love his style, creativity, and passion, but I believe he doesn't really try to take advantage of his talent and potential. Yes, his new parts do have some sick tricks and show how he has changed to become a more all-around, all terrain skater, but I know Cory could release even BETTER and GNARLIER videos if he really set his mind to it. This guy is absolutely insane, he can do anything he wants on his board. I just hope that he pushes himself to do it. I know that if he does, he'll be among the greatest skaters of his generation. Can't wait for his SB chronicles 3 part. CORY KENNEDY, SKATER OF THE DECADE! :)
I respectively disagree. His more recent parts show how versatile he is now that he can skate tranny and pretty much do whatever he wants. He also shows that skating is not just a job but can still be fun. His creativity and pure happiness while skating is a reflection of Koston.
Not exactly what I mean though haha, what I meant is that it makes me sad and makes me feel sort of nostalgic since when I saw this video I thought that after some years, CK would be just the gnarliest skater in the world; yet here we are and I feel like he doesn't care enough to show his full potential. I agree with you on some things as well, I love watching everything cory puts out, but I feel like he could do much more.
Rodrigo Alvestegui Do you see him doing back tail bigflips on handrails in this part? He has definetly progressed , dont be so ignant. 100% has progressed since this, your opinion is nothing if your a moron.
0Brad Yeah and there's a lot of shit in this part that you don't see him doing now. Also, what the hell is "ignant"? And your last sentence doesn't even make any sense. I believe you are the moron.
Meek Maynard you are right, and i really think he is gonna be on the chronicles 3, recently nikesb posted o Facebook a photo and asking who should be on the video of chronicles 3, basically all answers were about cory so i hope he will be on it! :) (my english sucks im brasilian)
dude it's so sad seeing someone with so much talent and potential just flush it down the toilet. I really hope he cleans up his act and gets back to this Cory Kennedy. He's easily one of the top 5 skaters out there in his prime.
Came across that commerical with this song in it, recognized it from Cory Kennedy's part. Had to go back and watch this again for old times, always loved Cory's style and skating. Don't drink and drive guys, go skate if ur buzzed, it's more fun anyway.
I’m here after watching Boardwalk Empire. I knew I heard the into song before! I used to watch this religiously, along with his Slice of Life video, when I was in middle school over a decade ago. KC is definitely one of my favorite skaters of all time. Takes me back to the good times skating with the homies. 🥲
Its crazy seeing these spots in real life and seeing him skate them the way he does. amzing stuff and im happy to have seen and skated some of these spots.
I dunno if you'll see this Brandon, but if you were ever inclined to put up an HD re-upload of Beware of Sasquatch, I think a lot of people would be stoked to see it :)
Still one of my favorite parts ever.
same!
Same bro
instablaster.
Kook
been in the youtube favorites since 2010 🥲
Easily one of the best parts in the last 10 years.
w27 Who's in your profile picture? I've seen a lot of people online with your pic
Elijah Weaver idk, old meme i guess lol
don't forget jake johnson mind field
easily nobody comes close to ck1's skill level hes a wizard
I hope he can find forgiveness from his friends' families and himself, and get out evolved. And back on a board. What a talent.
He shouldn’t be in prison in my opinion.
@@Souran123 what did he do?
Hes still a legendary skater
No matter what
From what I’ve read, nobody blames him because it was an accident. Shouldn’t even be sentenced imo
two things: 1. adidas dropped the ball 2. he really liked that mike mo board
Preston waters Nike
There was a McCrank board he wore the fuck out back then too!
j mula hmmm he doesn’t fit adidas
@@BonesDMS4life oh god shut the fuck up with arm chair team manager bullshit
He killed a guy so I bet Adidas is really kicking themselves about it
such a loss...hope he can come back after the sitdown
This dude has a gift from god.
Don't take youtube comments to serious bra.
Cory is my favorite skater of all time and this is nostalgic as hell, I haven’t skated at all in the last like 5 years but this makes me want to get back into it.
i feel that heavy
Ayy Lmao Dude, you have to continue skating
this part is a mix of throwaway and game changing tricks, i love this part so fucking much. too bad he hasn't pushed himself since pretty sweet.
No question. Marijuana numbs the things we don’t want to worry about but also the things we love. It wasn’t worth ruining your career/life over.
I’m going to reserve my judgement until he’s out and whether or not he decides to put out another part, who knows what a clean and focused Cory would be capable of..
crondigady was alcohol not bud bud
Thank you for saying this !!! I agree 1,000! Like Jeron Wilson said “One thousand.”
I've never seen a skate career evolve to quickly.. He went from a flow ripper to pro, to good enough to not try in like 5 years.
Christopher Ray haha that's so true
Clearly he was good enough to not even try more than 6 yrs ago lol
9:17.
Merlin Twist, sickest trick ever.
This video was a huge inspiration to anyone skating in the PNW, seeing Cory kill all of our favorite spots, was a honor to see how far he went in his career. Can't wait to see what he does when he gets out of the pen April 2021!
One of the best longest skate video part ever
one of my favorite skaters growing up such a clean style crazy this is 13 years ago
think i paid to watch this when it first dropped lmao....crazy 13 yrs ago im 35 now
life's crazy..
Fr
Kickfklip smith bs big. I can't even tell if this cat is skating switch or reg. So much butter on that Mike Mo board.
Plus that bs noseblunt dude like nothin.
10 years later and this part still amazes me. live long CK!
sad seeing him turn into Koston in his nike part.
best part ever.
miss the ck1 street footy like this and old sk8rat stuff. still amazing though
This has got to be one of the best parts in skateboarding history.
Can’t believe he’s gunna be in prison for 4 years
Tom Campbell lmao that’s not how it works 😂 he’ll have to serve 80%
Tom Campbell let’s not pretend like you weren’t originally implying that “he’ll be out in a year”
Tom Campbell also don’t forget that he was originally looking at 8 to 11 years for what happened. This was a very serious case.
Tom Campbell 😂 you want to be right so bad
Tom Campbell you made that comment 2 months ago but say that he’ll be out in a year. That’s still over a year from when you made the comment. Just stop 😂😂😂
Still my fav part after 4 years!
I was listening to BJM over mute skate videos. This is great.
This is still my favorite part after all these years
Someone needs to make a full-length documentary on his life after he's done serving his time/has forgiven himself.
he needs an Epicly Later’d
Glad to see him come up after all these years. Cool that he grew up here in Lake Stevens where I grew up.
This is what skateboarding looks like.
this is like a turning pro vid.
Why couldn’t you skate like this forever
this makes me so sad... i still remember when he turned pro. he's a prime example of someone who peaked too fast too early
What are you on about? The guy got arrested for drunk driving that lead to someones death. Has nothing to do with him hitting his peak early...
10 years later, still fucking classy
and you thinking you sucks at skating but if you found this part and watch it somehow its like whispering into your souls telling that you simply can't quit because expecting too much in skating and this part keeps you skate out there everyday and encouraging you to get better in skateboarding... SO INSPIRING
6:50 is the gnarliest thing in this part. The alley he bombs switch afterwards is practically gravel. And the gap itself is fat.
hweenmask Trust me, dude. I live a few blocks from the spot. If you were able to go and look at the rock situation in the alley he bombs switch afterwards, you would agree w/ me 100%.
***** Incorrect, almost every spot in this video is in the Puget Sound area. I haven't been to every spot in the video, obviously. Bob Dole I'm late but I don't think switch or regular is any different to Cory that's irrelevant
This will forever and always be one of my favorite parts, when it first came out I didn't know what to think.. I'd never seen someone this good before.
Still to this day my favorite skate part of all time
So good! Pretty sweet part is dope too! One of my favorites.
cory is so fucking sick, not even just on the board; he is a phenomenal dude
Anyone else here in 2020 enjoying one of the single greatest parts of all time?
Hopefully not long to go until he’s back doing what he was born to do. That is of course if that is what he chooses to do..
Lee Thomas one of my favorite parts of all time and CK is one of my fav skaters, so sad what happened to him and hope he’s back soon too
the best
crazy how he came out of nowhere never saw him in any of the Manik videos or seattle scene then he drops all these videos on RUclips around 07-09 and became one of the goats. this part reminds me of Scott Kane in bootleg 3000 in that its a 18-19 year old kid who's just better than everyone else
Back in the day when he wasn't so fucking grimey.
iLeftovers He's not grimey he just wears some "out there" outfits
2024 Stand Up! Classic
this is so much better then the new chronicles part and that pisses me off.
Cory Kennedy is one of my favorites because of this video. Its so great, in skating and in his personality.
SWITCH BIG FLIP! pwooooooooo
Nollie champ, Merlin flip was masterfully landed - all in all a great part. He seems to be such a nice guy to hang out with. One of the most underrated skaters out there.
He kinda evolved too quickly he came up a little too early if he dropped this now man he'd be bigger
I can't believe that this video is already 2 years old. I've watched it about 300 times and it still isn't old. Cory Kennedy is the man.
I hate how he grew stagnant just like mike mo. This is one of the best parts of all time just pure skateboarding
some of the best skating, filming, editing/transitions in any skate film I've seen. so smooth and beautiful.
Keep buying his boards people.
He was one of the first of the new age to be pro before even becoming pro
He was just sentenced to 4 years of jail.
RIP his skate career, so sad...
Once again don't drink and drive kids!
At least he didn't injure his brain like Ali Boulala. He will be back and hopefully he doesn't go trunk boys all over again.
He should try dgk i bet they will sponcer him just cuz he got arrested
and if you drink if you can drive dont do stupid things Sirius and slow.. and you can't stop and wait talk or sleep batter than sleep for ever
dgk?? He’s still on girl and I believe still on Nike
@@damnfoourlying im pretty sure than nike dropped him but they were rasing a lot of money for pstones family
2024 still watching this timeless masterpiece
it's funny!
This is so random, you commented on this 8 years ago???
Such an amazing skateboarder and so happy he's from the PNW! I remember watching this video when I was younger and getting super hyped seeing him skate spots that I've visited before.
He hasnt really had a part since that was better than this one.
This Part never gets old, still blow my mind

I love how this isn't even a video for a company, it's a homie video and the tricks are fucking gnarly...
why is everyone saying they miss corey kennedy hes still alive
TheAwkwardCantaloupe where do people come up with this shit?
he came out with pretty sweet, it takes longer to make a full video part then you think
TheAwkwardCantaloupe Man just watch his Pretty Sweet part, you'll see how he keeps skating street
Meek Maynard you are right, and i really think he is gonna be on the chronicles 3, recently nikesb posted o Facebook a photo and asking who should be on the video of chronicles 3, basically all answers were about cory so i hope he will be on it! :) (my english sucks im brasilian)
This is great, his pretty sweet part is my favorite part ever. Such a legend.
dude it's so sad seeing someone with so much talent and potential just flush it down the toilet. I really hope he cleans up his act and gets back to this Cory Kennedy. He's easily one of the top 5 skaters out there in his prime.
His bag of tricks is so unreal. I wish he’d pull all these out again but now it’s strictly like fun tricks.
I don’t know, I love new CK1. His pump on this part is pretty damn tech and im pretty sure he did at least 2 legit nbd’s in that one too
Most of these are like insta clips now lol
Andrew Almada So true haha
my favorite part still blows me away after 6 years
I miss this Cory Kennedy, I feel like he didn't even reach his full potential. His parts went downhill quick.
best part in the last 10 years, he's so fluid on a board, he's just like Koston, he can do any trick he wants.
Still holds up going into 2020
every single trick he does goes with the song, ty very much
Came across that commerical with this song in it, recognized it from Cory Kennedy's part. Had to go back and watch this again for old times, always loved Cory's style and skating. Don't drink and drive guys, go skate if ur buzzed, it's more fun anyway.
still one of my favorite parts to watch! he has one of the best styles out there
CONGRATS Cory!!!

still to this day one of the best parts ever. That ss bs bigflip at the end :O
Props to the one who thought of the shot through the bush and into that gap, right when Anenome starts.
Favourite Band & Favourite Skater.
His bag of tricks is ridiculous, it's practically limitless. This was an amazing video part in general
Its crazy seeing these spots in real life and seeing him skate them the way he does. amzing stuff and im happy to have seen and skated some of these spots.
bdis89 dude nice!! what spots of these have you skated?
I agree.
I just watched it again and am still flat out amazed at his effortless bag of tricks. I'd say it's better than pretty sweet. Way better.
2 years and this video is still so raw!
Top 10 parts . I remember when this came out , and sk8rats clips were out , and the crail couch . This is a classic . Bro paid his dues .
Cash-N-Carry Gap in Everett, WA...and he is also skating Cavalero Mid-High in Lake Stevens, WA. Wow, good stuff!!
Anton Newcombe's twitter brought me here! Sweet video!
One of the best parts I've seen in a while.
This guy has such an amazing, natural talent. So much fun to watch ride. Gets me psyched to go skate.
True he's still here and puts on when he really needs to, for himself.
Skating to two BJM songs in a row is a G move
Probably my favorite part ever, how has it been 10+ years?😳
cant stop watching this part.. he is sooo good
this and marc johnsons fully flared are not only the longest parts but the best parts
the filming in this video makes it that much better
It's cool being able to say I grew up seeing this guy skate from time to time before this video was even started:)
This is always going to be my favorite skate video.
I dunno if you'll see this Brandon, but if you were ever inclined to put up an HD re-upload of Beware of Sasquatch, I think a lot of people would be stoked to see it :)
Best part i've ever seen and only 261 000 views, wtf ?
Pumped I went to the premiere for this video in Seattle when I was like 14
This video never gets old
Still my favorite Cory Kennedy part. It actually isn't even close.
I watch this every day before I skate, so inspiring.
Now that is a full part. Sick.
WELCOME BACK CORY, PRESTON IS SMILING
