I've been reading about people having issues with finding the moon or sun. I've had my S50 since Jan and never had that problem. Have I been just lucky or is there a real problem. I level and calibrate every time. Think I'll try some experiments to see if I can break it.
@johndaley9188 I'm beginning to believe that since these S50s are mass produced that each one may have its own personality. Some find the Moon and the Sun out of the box immediately. Some couldn't find it if the fate of the world depended on it. What gets me is if you own one that is bad instead of complaining about what it should do figure out a way around which is what I've done. I have 3 of them. I do the level sensor calibration and then do the compass cal and leveling adjust to at least 0.1 and mine couldn't find nothing so I figured out a way hence the videos. Congrats on having a good one. Lucky you.
@@allskydave I thought about possible manufacturing inconsistencies. We are talking about China. They also had some issues with camera's leaking oil. Don't think it's software. Hard to mess up one's and zero's.
