Ploughing in Hummelo (the Netherlands) with a Massey Ferguson MF 35 X 1964 with a Ferguson plough 10 inch. Ploegen in Hummelo met een Massey Ferguson MF 35 X en een 10 inch Ferguson ploeg.
MF 35's are great little tractors. My brother has one , no power steering the only thing I don't like about it. I have a IMT 539 it's about the same things of a 35 Massey Ferguson a copy. My 539 IMT does have power steering, I owned it for 13 years put about 2500 hrs on it.
this guy likes to do a job as perfect as possible ,, pride '' and that is the way to do your work young people ,, have pride and this guy's work show it , thank you sir for a class in plowing ''
Beautiful M-F. My only question is ... where are your rocks? Here in Pennsylvania (USA) there would be as many rocks as soil in each furrow! It must be nice to plow without slamming into stones the whole time!
Hmmm, just fell over this one at Lunchtime - curious to know - looks like your rear track is too wide for what I correctly guessed to be a 10" Plough - MF793. One sees that the front wheels tend to point to the ploughing AND the RH check chain / stabiliser is doing some work!. Lot of play in the top link assembly. When the plough is properly set, it "self-centres" and pulls square & EASILY ! A tight toplink does its job much better too! Despite that, ploughing looks OK and very pleasant music . thanks for posting
culmalachie I would tend to agree with your comments - look at the ploughing at 05:16 you can see the two, two furrows throughout the ploughing. Wheel centres should be set at 48” for this plough but like you say the general ploughing is still good. I would be pleased with it!!
@@trevorjarvis3021 A response ! You shouldn't be pleased with it - too many are and hence the IMHO "Naffness" of ploughing matches where beauty is ONLY skin deep. Take another look at the Rear end - the linkage is pulling to one side AND he is USING EXTERNAL CHECK CHAINS !!! : he gets away with it because it is a small plough and relatively good conditions: Try that up a hill in the wet on sidling land, etc. he will go nowhere fast - even if he HAD a Difflock or 4WD ! Also there is a twistng moment which is stabilised by the Landside of the plough and so there will be increased wear on the plow metal! I see this regularly with BIG & 4WD tractors where the large plough is STILL TOO small for the tractor. Tractor ends up fighting it's own shadow. Think of it as a horse: pulls with a chain - So the plow will ONLY follow behind in line according to the Plowing width and where the horse walks. Now take a kwik look at this > ruclips.net/video/B4E4PAvf_Vc/видео.html < by the 1st minute: wheel track settings: We can deduce that whether its a 65 or a 35, that the current setting is 52" and NOT 56" as I first suspected ( verify) BUT those mudguards will not let the tractor wheels go much narrower AND they are set at ONE setting wider than the minimum.... so go figure ! Och Enjoy it - call it Edutainment Sláinte !
ja het hoeft niet nieuw te zijn om mooi werk af te leveren okal zit ik liever op een renault 891-4 met een 3 schaar of alle deutz 06 seerie die een 3 schaar kan trekken reken maar op d8006 of hooger

Perfect marriage!
2 furrow fergi plough and a 35.
Made for each other.
This gentleman is a perfectionist in ploughing..he also has a perfect MF35X. Perfect ploughing. Nice video.
On this tractor i learned to drive it 45 years ago - what a perfect work this driver does - the fergie - one of the best in the sixties
First class work so good to see the traditional skills still survive.

Marvellous job and all without the rear furrow wheel! Well done
Rear furrow wheel replaced by a proper landslide and he also has a quick entry top-link yet NO front furrow width adjuster??
Great video fantastic ploughing .

instablaster
Plough quality is good
Beautiful well done.
Love the music !!!!
Dat ploegt heel wat preciezer dan ons ploegwerk met 'n olde deutz stompkop, naar afloop doarvan is het hele veld schots en scheef.
Belle charrue et superbe tracteur
8:15 You drive backwards before lifting the plough? You are a really good ploughman! It is better for the hydraulic system, isn't it?
