This home has a lot of sad energy in it. The old fella had the kids pictures on the TV but there must have been a rift in the family and no one cared to take on any final wishes or assistance. Thank you for exploring and sharing :)
What a shame that the house has been left like this. I got some really sad vibes from this house. Those staircases looked sketchy to me. Awesome explore Brent. 👌
When I see this I think this is probably the fate for most of us. All the stuff we buy and collect in our life ends up being someone else's clean up job, or in this case nobody can be bothered.
You are 100% right. The "stuff," we rationalize to ourselves as being so important, ends up sitting there frozen in time with a ghostly emptiness. Items, have nowhere to go or be. Very creepy and sad 😔
This was a great find! I agree, this type of abandoned place is the best. It's sad seeing remnants of a life that once was, and sad that he didn't seem to have anyone left who cared about him or his things. It's always fascinating to see someone's place just how they left it (minus the decay, of course).
The barn is my favorite part of this find, I love photographing barns in rural Ontario. The old stone foundation and exposed wooden beams look beautiful ❤
Looking at the mess in there makes me want to purge more out of my house before I go….The Remington shaver looked like one hubby had in the 60’s/70’s. You’re very brave to venture where the roof or floor looks like it’s about to collapse! Been following you for years, Brent. Stay safe
The red "Shoe Shine" box at 15:40 is a classic that brings back memories. My parents had the exact same box, and I grew up having this box as a daily fixture. My dad is now 86 but he still has this red shoe shine box. What an incredible flash-back!
Great way to honor the previous homeowners, even though it’s apparent no one in their family cared enough to go back but thanks to you, the homeowner has touched thousands of hearts!
Such an awesome find ! This kind of places have so much to tell. I love them ! Thanks for another great explore Brent ! Already waiting for the next one 😁

There’s a picture missing on the wall in the living room which shows the true colour of the wallpaper.. baby blue..not nicotine brown! I was surprised to hear a dial tone after all this time…kind of eerie! Seeing people's belongings left behind always makes me imagine who lived there That was a great find. 🇨🇦 ❤️
I don't think he was claiming to be an expert on nicotine stained walls or the true.color of the wallpaper when one removes a picture.. I.never noticed the true color of the wallpaper, I was watching the video. Call me crazy....
Hello Brent from across the pond! What a sad, sad house - it really made me feel quite emotional seeing the deterioration of not only the house but all the treasured belongings of the late owner. I'm curious to know what happens to all that's left inside if the place is going to be demolished which it surely will be. Thank you for a great explore and until the next one! Gill 🇬🇧
Most of the stuff has mold spores on it,animal feces, some will probably be auctioned off,the more valuable items like curio cabinets,or similar, but most everyday stuff that is all over and possibly a health hazard ,will hit the landfill!
Here in the US, sometimes after someone dies, or buys a piece of property like this with a lot of belongings left behind, the new owner will bring in an auction company that will walk around and make an assessment value on the things they think they can sell, and will give the owner cash money for those things, then take them and sell them. Sounds a little cold, but at least the nicest things go to someone who wants them.
Hi Brent,...I like to come to Canada to see all the wonderful abandoned houses and farm land I've heard so many wonderful things about Canada and I am from New Jersey
This was a really good explore Brent. I love old farms, especially the barns and the other buildings. Farmers used those like city folks used attics. Take care and looking forward to your next explore.
This house makes me so sad. So many memories and old family pictures. I'll never understand why people leave those. I would love to see it in the days when people lived here. It's a very cozy little home.
That barn was just screaming with history you could picture it being built and all the hard work ,just a shame we don't know more about the family a life was lived inside those walls it's very sad to see that happen to the property and the belongings .Another great find Brent thanks Dale
This was a very amazing old home, and so sad!! That was very crazy that the phone still worked!!👀 I hope who ever gets this old place, is able to rescues some of those treasures! Thank you for taking us on this adventure! Take care and be safe!! ❤️🔥😻❣️💞
The phone was probably just connected but won’t actually work as there is no account attached. This is how landlines used to work. There would be that odd hum indicating connection to the exchange but not a dial tone until a new account is set up. Those old copper line systems did not rely on electricity at the property to work. I gotta ask Brent... How about a short video about the strangest things (or feelings) you ever had while exploring an abandoned place? In my younger days myself and a good friend would do the same thing as you but we had no recording equipment. It was too expensive. Late 80's and early 90's. There was one place we tramped through at least a dozen times until something happened and we never went back. Thanks for the upload. You've got an interesting channel.
This was a good one ! I sure was able to relate to a lot of those items. You kinda feel for the guy that lived there, because it seems to become personal looking at his stuff.Mixed emotions, I guess

This house still has secrets. So many children things thruout the house as tho they had lived there. Yet not enough bedrooms for that. I agree. I think the last inhabitant was a man. Another mystery…with so many pics of young people in the house clearly there were family members that lived after the loss of their loved one. So why not take things they wanted or move into house? Another mystery is an empty fridge. WHO emptied it? I enjoyed this time capsule. I think it is a sad house tho. The barn appears to be even older than the house. That “bike” was sweet too. Another cool find!
Love you videos. Like many I always wonder why family that is still living just leaves everything behind. I have to think in some cases that maybe the death of the loved one in the home was so hard, that they just can’t stand to return as the memories are to painful. I also understand that remaining family might live to far away and is just not able to take care of the property. I know getting information on these homes is hard, but I’d love to know more about the last families to occupy these homes and why they left? Keep up the videos, they are always interesting.
As others have stated, very sad to see this as it represents the end of someone's life. We all have an end and this was just an example. You and Noah Nowhere seem to have the knack for finding these places and we are grateful for your work as it is a learning event for all.
Seeing places frozen in time is sad and it's sad to see people that demolish and destroy old places like time capsules. That place was definitely built in the early 1900s, the house has lots of old light fixtures, light switches and outlets and also all the cool antiques. I really like that barn, for being as old as it is, its in really good shape! That cart with the two wheels looked like it's a cart that's hooked and pulled behind a horse. If it were up to me, all abandoned places would be left alone or if messed with, save, preserve, and keep the antiques and valuable stuff and I would rebuild and preserve the abandoned structures from being lost forever.
So many questions and not enough answers. You wonder if the family was estranged from the gentleman. Many valuable antiques that should be treasured and so many memories lost. You can tell that he had some love and attachment to his family because of the pictures, just wonder what happened? I guess we will never know. I agree with you about houses like this being the most interesting. When there's a lot of stuff left behind you get a look into what the person or peoples lives were like, for instance we know he was a fisherman and a hunter and probably rode a Gold Wing for awhile. By the pictures on the TV, the Xbox and some other kids age things around he was a grandpa, if he did die the family probably wouldn't or couldn't come up with $25,000 to pay the back taxes. Another enjoyable video as usual Brent.
11:49 - Is that clock WIRED!? I don't think I've ever seen a wired wall clock. I think the only plug in clock I've seen are digital alarm clocks. 17:40 - That cup in the corner of the medicine cabinet? Pretty sure my family had the exact same when was little! Except ours were way more worn out looking. Also, thank you for pointing out the construction of the barn - that was ridiculously fascinating. The cow skull! I wonder how and why the animal just died there and its remains were left - if that's the case. Because obviously animals were kept there at some point. These houses are heartbreaking - the actual remnants of someone's existence, their final years, months and days. Time capsule houses kill me but they're my favourite. You're right about the amount of antiques in this house - what a gem! So cool. Good find! Thank you for sharing.
what a sad looking house! I just hope no animals were abandoned in the barn when the owner left because there are bones there. Thank you for being respectful with the belongings, good to see no-one has vandalised it.
At 21:33, an Arnold from Green Acres Pig! I'd love to have one like that! In the late 60s I lived in a trailer park in Hasley Canyon north of Los Angeles and Arnold and his owner lived a couple miles up the canyon from me.

And then finding out that it was still on ! And then, putting the receiver up to your microphone! That was fun ! Thanks for doing what you do !
Thank you Brent for showing us another abandoned place. I would say that the family didn't want to come and take that place because they would have had to pay the taxes. I would think that you could take anything that you would want out of there and nobody would know the difference. It sure was something to find the phone still in service.

These houses are heartbreaking - the actual remnants of someone's existence, their final years, months and days. Time capsule houses kill me but they're my favourite.
You're right about the amount of antiques in this house - what a gem!
So cool. Good find! Thank you for sharing.
Love the barn. Quality build you don’t see much today. Built solid to last, lots of elbow grease and sweat equity.
What a beautiful quilt! I loved the barn. I used to have sheep when I was younger. That barn would have been lovely.
what a sad looking house! I just hope no animals were abandoned in the barn when the owner left because there are bones there. Thank you for being respectful with the belongings, good to see no-one has vandalised it.
I hope the animals were removed before also.
I like that old tractor, I am kinda a fan of old ag stuff!
At 21:33, an Arnold from Green Acres Pig! I'd love to have one like that! In the late 60s I lived in a trailer park in Hasley Canyon north of Los Angeles and Arnold and his owner lived a couple miles up the canyon from me.
Hello , Brent!
I'm a fan of yours! I enjoy all of your explores !
I just need to say,
THANK YOU SO MUCH for picking up the receiver on that old rotary phone
That was great! And then finding out that it was still on !
And then, putting the receiver up to your microphone!
That was fun !
Thanks for doing what you do !
Thanks so much for the kind message. Glad you enjoy my videos 😁
Thank you Brent for showing us another abandoned place. I would say that the family didn't want to come and take that place because they would have had to pay the taxes. I would think that you could take anything that you would want out of there and nobody would know the difference. It sure was something to find the phone still in service.
Another awesome but sad find….u can’t help but wonder what happened and where is family, for the heritage and love of family….😔💜 thanks for sharing….
Hey Brent! I liked the explore and especially seeing your research and posting the years of items you found! I hope you’re having an awesome weekend! See ya on the next video. 👍😊
Amazing but very sad. Thanks for sharing. I have to admit I love to see the barns too.
