This show has been such a surprise watch for me. Loving the nostalgic vibe and its a comedy thats actually funny!

I've definitely had that happen to me, and seen it happen to other people..lol, getting in any kind of weird head space can affect any type of drug.
I'm surprised that Bob never mentioned dating Jay's grandma.
they repeated the kissing each other's girlfriend bit from That 70's show, like when Fez kissed Jackie or when Jackie kissed the cheese guy
This new season was a lot better than the first season. Maybe cuz the bar was low for me personally after last season but the kids actually made me laugh this season. Last season, it was mostly the adults and original cast.i hope the show continues
🌪️ all right so this one is how I feel about the returning characters and the older characters. Love seeing the old gang love seeing them in their adult dynamic of who they are as an adult. The characters were not overplayed throughout the first season so that was great. Kitty, red, Bob are still fantastic. The shift now that they are grandparents is perfect. I also love the fact that Leia is the smart one and not just repeating having kid that they have issues with and they are gonna leave that dynamic to Kelso as the boyfriend. I think what is particularly fun is that they are using 90s references this season a little more than they did in the old show. It was always there because of the times the surroundings but now it’s like the Lisa Loeb episode the fact that she’s in there was great, and the show has a Tennessee to be self deprecating so that’s fine. All that said as a revisiting show it’s working for me. It’s not super high over the top like the original but that’s fine. I think much like the world of Wisconsin in the show. We all grew up so the show should be that next level. Although the basement scenes are always a classic and I’m glad it’s still here around.
Loved Leia's Stay music video! Nikki is honestly the most beautiful out of the girls, can't wait to see her in future films!
Not sure if you know man but Midge’s actor, Tanya Roberts, passed away within the last couple years
Midge and bob got divorced in the original run. Sadly Tanya Roberts is gone now

🌪️ oh yeah sorry one other thing and you Omni made me realize it. I think because of the actual age in real time of these characters because they’re doing things that are very typical of young kids who kind of think they have it together, but they still do mistakes, in the case of thinking telling Nikki, what happened and then dealing with that all the relationships and everything going on feels a little more real this time around then in the original show, I don’t know if their ages compared to the original cast when the first show came out is about the same, but I always felt that the cast playing teenagers you could kind of feel it like come on. But here the actually feel like the age they’re supposed to represent a little bit better. I don’t know if it’s because it’s just a young girl cast and I haven’t seen a young cast in a long time. Also it’s helping a lot is the fact that none of this is happening during like a full year. All this is happening during the vacation time when they’re visiting the grandparents so everything is going down fast quick they’re on vacation from school so you have like a month or two months if you’re lucky to be with people so everything is at a high intensity all the time.
I can't remember if you have brought it up at all, but Midge unfortunately won't be coming back for this show. Tanya Roberts, who played Midge, passed away in 2021. I hope we do at least get a reference to her though as a nice nod to Tanya's amazing performance.
Didn't Midge run off to California and Bob get together with someone else. I didn't watch the last seasons hardly, so I'm not sure what happened towards the end.

🌪️ all right now that we’re in the next part of the show. Hear my a couple of takes what’s going on. Right off the bat grandpa Bob, greatest thing in the world second of all the quirkiness of what the show is is nice to see again. I am thinking because it is not network television. They are not writing this as over the top as the original show was, so I feel the heart of what the original show was so it’s there I can see it. I can feel it. It’s there. The relationship dynamics are a little weird for me still. One different thing I like is how the relationships seem a little more real. The relationship between Nate and Nikki from the first season fault kind of weird because it felt kind of TV trope that oh OK the more girl the dumb guy and they like each other but now this season they’re dealing with the fact that they’re realizing that it may not actually be the right combination it was fine when they were younger, but the relationship itself is not as fulfilling as they thought it was so I like that part. The Kelso Leia relationship just isn’t clicking for me for some reason. now, as for Gwen, I have a feeling she is supposed to be the Masterson version of the group, but not a pothead. Who are the characters are in the show are fine for me. They’re playing them well and I don’t have an issue with anybody on the show, but I am very interested to see how this relationship group dynamic plays out.
