WHO IS JIANG YU SHAN:
Jiang Yu Shan (Hisham Al-Haroun) has lived 30 years in Taiwan practicing Kung Fu and Qigong. He is most notably known for being the master of the monkey style and inheritor of the Monkey Fist Door but he is also a master in Tai Chi, Bagua Zhang, Wing Chun, Xin Yi Ba and Wu Zhu Quan.
Jiang is a 33rd generation Shaolin disciple and has been nominated 9th Dan (or “Duan”) in Chinese Kung Fu. In addition, he comes from a wrestling family and is well-rehearsed in other martial arts such as catch wrestling (he has a good relationship with the notorious CACC Snake Pit in Japan).
Not only that, Jiang also worked as a special forces (CMC.SCC) drill instructor for over 10 years teaching hand-to-hand combat, tactical raid, entry team tactics, knife fighting and hostage rescue to Taiwanese special ops. Before that he was an army paratrooper in the German military where he got his initial military education.
Due to his respected status in Taiwan’s society and his high expertise in self-defence, he has served as a bodyguard for several Taiwanese presidents and presidential candidates. A foreigner working as a bodyguard for a president is extremely rare and unheard of in almost any country in the world.
To test his martial arts skills and proficiency in practice, Jiang has competed in various kickboxing, Sanda, MMA and Karate competitions, winning 7 gold medals. His biggest victory was winning the All Japan Karate MMA competition 2016 in Tokyo, Japan at the age of 45.
Jiang has 40 years of training in Kung Fu and has operated as a respected teacher since he was in his twenties. Now, he is a grandmaster who comes from very rare and pure lineages of Kung Fu and Qigong. This is why his teachings are not only very unique but also more effective than many of the commercial forms of Qigong or Kung Fu you see today.
It’s our privilege and honour to showcase his skills to the broader audience. Enjoy!

This form is a combination of techniques and principles of xinyi, taiji and monkeyfist. It's part of the master's Trinity System. Who is Jiang Yu Shan: ruclips.net/video/QYhStCO_lJc/видео.html
If you are interested in learning similar Kung Fu, "Internal & External Kung Fu" by Jiang Yu Shan has Monkey style Xinyi ba and "Monkey Fist Door 24 Warrior Qigong Set" has many similar movement patterns as well. This, however, is more advanced form and fundamentals need to be mastered first.
An old friend of mine show me a really similar routine, thanks for sharing, it brings me good memories!
I think I watch this at least once a day and wish to be able to move like that. I love the music. I love the grace. Amazing.
True love is admiration ❤
Here, I am trying to study every movement to replicate this. I feel silly in my failures, but I know that the failures are a stepping stone to success.
The music makes this even more enjoyable, the upbeat rhythm and yet classical instruments.
That was the all time BEST depiction of Tai Chi I've ever seen...fluid, smooth, powerful...WOW!
When you get into Taiji Chuan, it's all like that. The "movement" & "health" tai chi is what most people think when they talk about taiji, it's far more open and empty in comparison. And I agree with you, this guy has excellent movement.
Sifu Jiang makes it all look so simple, and seamless. When I watch him, I can see the combat application.
The stance stability says it all. The internal is strong!
That sequence is beautiful.
Agreed, a symphony.
Maravilha, adoro taí Chi chuan
He did it with deep power and a very strong stance. Soo beautifull to watch.
Im an mma/bjj/western boxing guy. Not big on trafitional arts but this was actually very cool to watch. It was almost like visual AMSR. i dig watching people do kung fu style forms
Beautiful movement indeed. I think this flow goes smoothly with Karambit as well. Big Respect to grandmaster Jiang Yu Shan
This man’s form of movement is some of the best I’ve ever seen!!!
Word!
Wow this is so gracefully amazing! Thank you ! So inspiring. More than human simplicity we are !
Grande mestre.... felicidades sempre que 2021 seja de muito sucesso...
Such beautiful movements!
That was absolutely beautifully done
its so beautiful to see a human being move like a ghost in the wind
Nice flow ! No age limits !
Beautiful movements, love to know the soundtrack.
Most impressive indeed !
A beautiful composition of movements.
I love it.
I am a fan of UFC/MMA. Master Jiang is the Real Deal easily above MMA champions. If he fights/move or defend his mind, heart & motion is in complete unison with precision, speed & manifesting the skills without thoughts. The action is thought & the thought is action. 🙏Sifu
Amazing ShenFa. Very high skills being demonstrated here. Quite rare these days. Thank you very much for sharing!
Beautiful form from a great master.
You can see the applications, the possibilities...
His form is superb. Flows like a river
Greetings. I’m not a real young guy but “Monkey” systems have always interested me. Most of my training comes from various places but my main training was in Taiwan. I will not reveal my Sifu’s name for now. Was harsh, tons of rolling on concrete at “New Park.”
He required I learn several routines of Northern Longfist before he taught me monkey.
I stayed in Taiwan for 6 months practicing everyday and sometimes evenings.
I won’t make this long but for some strange reason, the sequence you are demonstrating somehow feels “right” even though it is very different from what I learned.
Good Stuff!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🕉☸️☯️❤️
Its different to see how those moves done by a person who know how to use it in fights, compared to those who just a blindly confidence that the moves could be used in fights without even testing it. Well done master! With all my respect from Silat! 🙏
This we call - Elim ! When in the deepest and purest heart your prayers have a reason
@@JiangYuShan tell us more please

Thankyou for this!! I can't explain
This looks insanely awesome, the way you have it so well practiced. The flow is super cool. I want more videos!
I want more hair!
Greatest mime performance ever. Tears in my eyes. Amazing
Make no mistake. This guy could seriously hurt you if he wanted. I can tell if someone is just faking and not confident with their fighting styles. Too many fake RUclips masters! This guy is the real deal. Thanks Sifu for showing us the real thing 🙏
Lotta folks in the comments neglecting the word "art" in "martial arts".
This form is very nice. Thank you for posting.
Yes, it's an art. However, it's definitely not martial arts.
Nice flow, proper awareness & intent for the most part. This guy is feeling it, getting it. Nice. Good solid Kung Fu.
Awesome and pretty much how I imagined the body mechanics of Tai Chi MonkeyFist would look
Amazing to watch, all Grandmasters videos are so inspiring
The most important part I can see from this form is the tendon stretching he's creating with his movements. This leads to great internal strength
And there you have it, the step-by-step guide to hand drying your laundry.
Jokes aside, amazing. Strong, powerful, smooth. Amazing control and a truly beautiful sequence of movements perfectly executed.
Wow looks great.. That's what greatness look like... You don't want to be on the receiving end of that greatness
So graceful...
Very flexible, flow..! helpful video!
He emanates power from all pores!
He's magnificent ❤️
It was beautiful and music made it perfect.

Mixing the animal instinct with tai chi really toggles the soul to vibration ... While looking at it... Going to learn this new tai chi form ... Really cool...
Beautiful! Likened to a mysterious dance that would open up a portal.
Thank you for sharing your life and knowledge. Yes we all are on a journey to be in the pursuit of excellence being our personal best🙏
i have no way of judging its efficacy. but i love the movement and the music. wonderful.
Definitely a great form of exercise.
My favorite video on RUclips.
Very nice form thanks for share it with us.
This guy is the real deal , I pray I meet him one day !
Beautiful flow
uoooohh.. que bonito kata...!! la fluidez del practicante es sorprendente .. aun cuando se vea ligero se nota la fuerza en sus brazos y la estabilidad en sus piernas..
The choreography is beautiful
Looks interesting. However, Not Sure if there are Tai Chi Principles involved in those movements... Looking forward to more content. Keep up the good work and respect to Master Jiang Yu Shan for him sharing so openly
Looks like xinyiba and shaolin rou quan principles to me which tai chi came from (at least the mechanics) ...so. its tai chi
@@davidshoyt1979 Well, even in Tai Chi circles different schools have different Principles or Interpretation there of. What I don't See in that Video, and that might be purely my Bad eyesight, are things like sinking elbows or simple Yin Yang separation. But, maybe they will put out a Video with some Kind of explanation in the future
@@thimo6295 yes i will do - the Trinity System includes monkeyfist,Xinyi and taiji-
In the Future I will explain more and how actually the form need to be performed
@@JiangYuShan Thank You, appreciate your efforts 🙏
@@thimo6295you can’t see yin/yang separating. When we are at one with ourselves and centered this is Wuji. When Yin/Yang begin to separate the breathing condenses and your Yi draws your Qi to your lower Dan Tian. This in turn raises your spirit of vitality, and draws an insubstantial energy to your upper Dan Tian and out through your Bai Hui. This is the beginning of Yin/Yang separation. Both are internal and invisible. The physical aspect of Taiji hands separating and combining together to form a ball are just representations of what’s actually happening internally. There is a another form that is being played on the inside, while the physical form is played on the outside. Taijiquan uses both the internal and the external equally.
Really Interesting stuff, it's easy to see how the movements would translate to a fight
Very beautiful to watch
Two thumbs up !
Took me years to realise Tai Chi is a grappling art and that a lot of the techniques shown in these sequences are throws a practitioner could practice solo
Beautiful and also perfect for me.
Smooth, slow and graceful
True power! Check out those hands! Insane!! Beautiful form.
Beautiful!
This was really satisfying to watch. keep it up
Awesome!
Thank you teacher🔥🔥👍🎈🙏🙏

Awesome just watching this video gives me the feeling of positive chi.
Superb!!!
😲 wow that's wonderful master piece movemnt.
I imagined him sparing a ghost opponent with all of these ancient movements. 💪❤️👍
Power, fluid motions, nice.
Beautiful ❤️🔥
Great Master , am so Happy!!!
True gift thank you for sharing Golden Rites of self wealth
interesting!
It took me a minute to realize, But from what I can tell this works with a staff just as well
I've heard the monkey fist arose from long staff techniques.
Hype as heck.
Damn.
Monkeyfist! Woo!
Such an art!
Wow I can not stop watching this video.
So amazing
Although many movement in traditional Karate and certain Kung fu styles are not practical. There are other movements from many other disciplines that will work in many different situations. This Gentleman is talented and I agree with his movements and grace. I practice T’ai Chi Chuan, Yang Style . The gracious movements in the form are helpful maintaining better health and wellness. This is a great way to develop Chi and Endurance.
Beautiful .
what's the titel of this song, I love it!
Pretty awesome clothes he’s wearing
Nice presentation. Also can you please mention the name of the background music of this video?
Wow
Thank you
Queue the internet MMA fighters that think they can beat this man.
Excellent form sir in all seriousness
I don’t see any of your straw men here. It may surprise you to know we appreciate beauty, not just effectiveness.
In the ancient Shaolin temple, the monks were not obsessive about just one style as many are today. The original Chinese Kung Fu is well-preserved in Taiwan
Fantastic music!
Fantastic!
