You simply dont make top flight football unless you are absolutely amazing!! I repped my Town and County as a youth. I was decent. But not once in my life did I consider (through not being good enough) playing professional. In the US, you draft players from colleague, meaning regardless to what the future has in store, if youre an amazing collage athlete, you're gonna get drafted and get a shot at being a pro. Every football (soccer) team has an academy that you might be involved in out of school, while being a youth, but if youre not making the grade at 15/16 years old, you're getting released. I guess what I'm trying to say is, when you see players doing these skills against other players... the player on the receiving end is more than likely a world class player too... or they simply wouldnt meet on the pitch... Unless its the English FA CUP (check it out). The fact the the English premier league is full of the best players in the world, from all over the world - literally every corner of the globe.. But only one American player good enough to play in our league!! Now that wasnt intended as dig.. Its just down to the fact that the U.S dont really "Do" football!! In the UK its a cultural thing. Its just in our blood.. And bros, I'm mixed race - Jamaican/Irish, so I pretty much had the choice of Football, Rugby or Cricket running through my veins (the Irish gene won...
