Although he made top defenders look like chumps he was widely respected, he played with a smile and because of this I don't think he was resented. There was no malice in his play, just joy.
Ronaldinho started his career at indoor soccer (futsal) which is the big reason why he is to technically gifted. Indoor requires much quicker feet and higher dribbling skills and he was just able to translate it to futebol/soccer. 10:28 Elastico by the old Ronaldo, why before basketball. A lot of tricks are mutual with basketball players. Kobe Bryant spoke fluent Italian after his childhood in Italy, he would frequent AC Milan games and picked up some moves. Body, foot, body hand
Bro, this is not a joke. Ronaldhino's other most invested in hobby to fill the gaps when not playing footy, was partying. Not shit bro. Being able to party was usually written into his contract. He hated training. Just loved fooling around with the ball. If he trained and took the game as seriously as CR7 Ronaldo takes his craft, Ronaldhino would've just been another outstanding Brazilian. It was his love for showing off with the ball that motivated him. We literally was an entertainer. To the greatest standard... Peace out dudes
And yeah, we also play a game called "5's". Always played within an enclosed pitch. Like quarter size of a regular 11's park. And altho we (my generation) call it 5's.. referring to the amounts of players. We will play anything from 1 man Champs. ! goal keeper, and as many out field players that are around and hanging out. Last person to score is out. Until down to the last 2. We do play upto 3 man champs. (unlimited teams of 3, 1 goal, elimination kinda thing), but more that 3 players in a side will pretty much require 2 goalies. Basically a mini game. We have indoor and outdoor 5 a side leagues. We play this as soon as we can walk. Probs why we are so naturally decent with a ball at our feet.
"Is there a limitation to how long the player can rull with the ball on their head" Actually, yes - you're no longer allowed to do this at all in fact. Turns out that when you're doing this (or bouncing the ball on your head as you run past defenders) the only way to stop you is to foul you, so it's no longer allowed. That said, one of the things you'll learn about football is that in terms of showing off, showboating and ball acrobatics, it's actually generally considered an useless skill on the pitch, and it's more of a ball control exercise outside of it. You'll find compilation videos on youtube of amateurs doing crazy trick shots and ball control that wouldn't be able to hack it in pro football. Why am I mentioning this? To emphasize just how much of a MONSTER Ronaldinho was for being able to do it on the pitch. People just don't understand how crazy it is that he was able to showboat and screw around with the ball, not against static dummies or amateurs, but against the very best football players in the world.
what awesome about him is , he got speed, he got strenght , he got accuracy and his control is one of the best ever. ,its sad that he choose to party and drunk and waste his talent.
Goalkeeper trick isn't his idea THB. That was first seen on TV by George Best when playing fro Northern Ireland against England. Oh, and you should check out Bestie. He played at a time quite different from Ronadinho and Messi et al. In Best's day each team he played against designated a player to stop him at all costs. In those days a legal tackle was anything below neck level. Chelsea had a player nicknamed Chopper Harris, guess why. Unfortunately Best was quite literally the best and it made little difference. If he'd played for a country likely to make it the World Cup regularly he'd have been more widely recognised. Its good to hear you have a clear understanding of Football, not that common in the US I think.
Actually he was not a regular trainer,. In fact he was only really interested if the training was with a ball. Must have driven his manager spare!! Then he'd go onto the pitch and make the difference. When he had the ball other players could make runs and take positions safe in the knowledge that he wouldn't lose it and he'd find them with a pass, or use then as a decoy. He was pure talent and played for the joy of playing. The other players were only there for his amusement (not in a nasty way).

@@RealFansSports imagine the god playing football. imagine god downgrading to human levels just because, you know, he got it anyways. Then, imagine being an athlete and competing against the god. He humiliates you, let's say. Are you offended, though? I mean, the god just made you look ridiculous. Do you get pissed off like this is the first time?
There was no shame. Now again, imagine the god doing all these things above, with a perfect attitude of sportsmanship, a large smile on the face along the ability to put that same exact smile on the opponent fans' faces. Nah. Regardless of what he did to you on the pitch, first, you respected him. They were all elite, competitive athletes but this was like it is not the part of the competition. Just like god would, after 3-4 years of "joga bonita", he left the scene to his minions and went partying, hard!
05:39 When I did those kind of things for the first time you were kids. Trying more and put more passion in it brings the succes to you. That's the key. And, of course, you have to know about the magic touch...
the add is real. people would get to the games 2 hours earlier to see him warm up
Ronaldinho is fire🔥🔥🔥
18:20 It's crazy because the ball comes from his left, he corrects in the turn on his chest to finish back left with a bicycle
costumamos dizer que Messi fez muitos amarem o Barcelo. CR7, amarem o Real Madrid. E Ronaldinho Gaucho, fizeram muitos amar o futebol.
"Is there a limitation to how long the player can rull with the ball on their head"
Actually, yes - you're no longer allowed to do this at all in fact.
A magia nos pés dele é única .
Somehow that last kick he was able to break it like a sinker.
Most talented player of all time
The crossbar hitting was very real guys
what awesome about him is , he got speed, he got strenght , he got accuracy and his control is one of the best ever. ,its sad that he choose to party and drunk and waste his talent.
RONALDHINO the real GOAT ‼
The other players were only there for his amusement (not in a nasty way).
the most skilful player !
not sure if anyone commented on it or not, but at minute 8:26 did you recognize the little kid to Ronnie's left?
Ronaldinho foi o mentor de Messi, no Brasil e comum in dor temos campeonatos sul americano in dor! Mas nosso melhor in dor aliás o melhor do Word é chama falcão reagam a futsal ou futebol in dor com falcão!
Pele = Wilt, Ronaldinho = Jordan, Messi = Kobe.
finally the rea GOAT
There was a player that run with the ball in his head look for Kerlon Moura - O Foquinha
If you keep the ball on your head while running the ref is gonna whistle and that would be called a "ball obstruction" meaning that the possession of the ball will be given to the opponents
To me, his moves stand out more than any football player ever.
I completely agree!
The ronaldo skills is trully impressive, but the strenght he got from traning europe was absurd, check Ronaldinho body when he was playing Gremio then check a year after he joined PSG.
I wish I knew which was the best highlights video of his to recommend, but it'd be interesting to see you react to JAY JAY OKOCHA (so good they named him twice😀). He was a teammate of a very young Ronaldhino at PSG and you can see some of his influence on the Brazilian. Okocha's step over, is actually pretty easy to do but so so deadly.
that the crossbar drill he can do that like 20x in the row all day
Bro i'm from Brazil, indoor is so much Fun, you shoud react to falcão, the king of futsal (football indoor) he's a Monster
Ronaldinho sometimes play indoor check it out
That was not a comercial when he hit the cross bar that when Nike did a shoe for him and he was training and he did that
Ranaldinho 🙌💪☝🤴🏻
He grew up playing beach soccer that's where the extreme control originates
dihno is a dancer, zlatan is a kickboxer.
Very nice video. Could you react to R9 vs R10? Thats Ronaldo (the real Ronaldo 😉) and Ronaldinho, they both Brazilian, they played Barcelona and Real Madrid. They had an nice friendship and both were amazing footbalplayers.
One best ever
React to Djalminha
How can no one mention Robinho......... For Brazil. One of the most skilful players to play football.
Id say he is the gifted, if things would of been different fir him, messi and ronaldo would of been figjting for the second spot. This guy was amazing.
