How to install CR Laurence Camper Van Windows

** We spent a lot of time looking for a special window primer and adhesive that the sticker on the window said that we needed… But that sticker must have been misplaced or otherwise incorrect because that was NOT needed (or appropriate) for the clamp ring windows. Don’t waste your time!

Guys I saw your video before I put in my bunk windows (they are motion windows, but pretty much the same) and I chose not to do butyl tape and I totally regret it! One of the windows leaks and now I’m going to have to take it out. I’m going to do the butyl tape this time. Wish me luck!

We’re having similar problems with one of our bunk windows :(. We have no idea where it’s leaking in from though!! Our cut is almost identical to our other (which is not leaking)
Did you guys remove the existing seal before adding the butyl tape?

Hey Connor! No, we never removed the seal! Also, Feel free to send us pics on our Instagram: zakandfal and we would be happy to give what additional advice we have. However, the butyl tape worked well for us. We folded it over the edge of our cut so it was on the inside & out. Didn't look great, but it worked well. Also, make sure you use a powerful drill to pull the seal tight!
