I’ve watched lots of video tutorials, but yours are so detailed and informational. The best for teaching. Especially for people who are beginning or afraid of trying something. Thank you so much
Thank you most completely. I really appreciate the comments so much. I have some anxiety on if I am helping enough or saying the right things. Feel free to share with other beginners. I try to explain on how I learned - you are so welcome.
I used Clear, Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Gloss Spray, but any clear coat spray paint will be fine. I feel so bad about this, but I am not quite sure what grit ahh I totally blanked on that. It was just the one that was on there. I know it wasn't a high grit or a to soft grit. Any medium grit should work fine.
I changed around my craft room and just went to see and I can't find it. ack! But I got it at Aldis in that deals isle. I would recommend a orbital round sander. Sometime the iron shape is hard.
First when you get it I would practice a bit so you can feel how it works and blends. Then I would get 2 foam or larger brushes even a cloth would work but lay out the colors and then swipe changing brushes if you use darker colors.
@@TheArtChick ty, I have some already. Thought this might have been a different color. Color looked a little different in video... Apparently the difference in cameras.
it really bugs me that you dont show us what it looks like with the clear coat, it would be nice to know how the clear makes the piece pop or not, we come here to learn and its unfulfilling when we dont get to see the final finish.
Oh my gosh you are totally right and I even filmed it. I will be putting it up after editing - probably 2 days or less. I would have never known I forgot that.
@ 3:03 it is perfectly beautiful, so calm down everyone, & seal it at that point. However, if you want a project that looks like a well-loved painters' work bench continue on. AND FYI that is not rude nor an insult either.
@@jpcork sooo funny! Good point, I did to choose to watch-hoping it would be awesome at the end. Wasn't an unnecessary comment, sharing my thoughts made me feel better about my bad choice to watch it to the end. As for U.S. I like it very much. My bed, my friends dj stand top, their bar, their sink base, & their speaker shelves all turned out beautifully.
Theresa...Maybe watching a video on manners would be more useful to you . Your comment was unnecessary and rude. Be a grown up and delete it . Something to think about . Good day . 😊
Theresa it's funny how you are trashing another woman while also bragging about your spit projects. You could have kept on going but since you're ugly through and through you had to do it. Fix your self esteem before trying to fix her projects 🤷♀️
Go back & reread. I did not put her project down. I merely stated it was MY time not well spent. Is being bossy not rude? Instructing me to delete seems bossy to me. I've watched videos on manners. Have you any other suggestions? You should check out MrBallen on RUclips, quite interesting storytelling.
@@jazzyntx not trashing anyone, nor am I trying to "fix" her project. To be "fixing" it I would have to physically be there. It does not need fixing, she must like it just the way it is, and that's all that matters. Same goes for anyone's artwork.
I enjoy seeing other people's techniques. I learn something each time. Thank you for doing this.
Thank you for the kind words.

Beautiful work, but what clear did you use, and what grit of sand paper?

What brand of sander are you using here?

I have never done anything with Unicorn Spit but am thinking of trying one depicting an evening sunset. Any suggestions where to start?

Do you use the Sparkling unicorn spit or non sparkling?
I use both. Sparkling is more transparent. I don't believe I have used sparkling in this video though.
what are the first three colors you used?
It's Zia, Blue Thunder and Pixie Punk Pink
Nice
Thank you
Wow! You’re so talented!🌟🌟🌟
Thank you so much!! :)
♥. What color of blue did you start with?
Hi , that one was called Zia Teal. You can get it here: www.michellenicoles.com/theArtChick?rfsn=3790263.1b4a32

Maybe you can make your own video instead of trying to get your 15 min of fame on someone else's.
@@catyb313 I certainly could.
Adhearing to the community standards...Just why???
That's 12 minutes of my life I can never get back.
