Micah the female narrator on the ride is Judy Dench. She's a British actress. I used to see her on a BBC show on PBS titled As Time Goes By. She isn't the woman from the show The Weakest Link. The car in the ride at Steve Jobs garage is a Chevy Vega.
And she was m bonds boss in the pierce Branson and Daniel Craig james bond movies because I'm a huge james bond fan I love james bond
I met her when she came to the zoo I worked at in England, I was holding a cockatoo at the time & dame Judy asked if he was always “that friendly” I said yes & then he bit me, still to this day believe he did it to show me up 😂
Micah here is the detail for the woman in the computer room scene on spaceship earth. This is Dr. Valerie Thomas was a scientist with NASA. She oversaw the Landsat program, and then later was the computer facility manager. From there, she expanded the SPAN network, which went on to become a vital part of today's Internet. So, that scene in the computer center has a lot more meaning - both in terms of the person represented, as well as how it connects the scene of the first personal computer to the internet data speed tunnel, and eventually to the star dome.
Great video dude! Judi Dench is the current narrator of Spaceship Earth. She portrayed "M" in the Daniel Craig James Bond 007 series.. But sounds just like the "Weakest Link" host..
With that type of ride they could be helping a disable person on the ride.

My favorite version of this ride will always be the 90s Jeremy Irons one. The narration, music and ending were incredible! Great video Micah! Also, regarding the paperboy, I read somewhere that a former cast member mentioned he was turned around bc people kept trying to grab the newspaper out of his hand.
Spaceship Earth is one of my favorite attractions. I love all of the animatronics! It's the only attraction left that reminds me of the original Epcot. It does need some updating. Im hoping that they do some work on it soon to go along with the new lounge in the back.

Thank you for sharing your ride on Spaceship Earth. It’s my favorite attraction at WDW! I hope whenever they do a renovation on it, they only update the ending. The rest is iconic. But, keep the lady in the yellow tights!!
Tomorrow’s Child Spaceship Earth is my favorite because it’s the one from my childhood. The ‘94 update added a lot of show scenes to the descent, which have since been removed, so that was cool too.
When we visit spaceship earth is our nap time
Her name is Valerie! She’s based off of a real life NASA scientist! We always say “hello Valerie!” as we pass by her.😂

Micah the voice you hear is english actor judy dench
I always assume the stoppages are elderly or challenged people struggling to get on or off the attraction.
We visited from Virginia when I was a kid and this iconic symbol is my main memory. The smell you spoke of is spot on what I remember and the A.C. I can't thank you enough for sharing this Micah. Take care man.
That house under water was from hello down there pictures of bee movie in the 70s or late 60s

The inages in this vidro are extraordinary, these shots of the sphere are Fantastic! I love the angles.
The Female Scientist featured on the ride is Valerie Thomas, a NASA Computer Facility Manager in charge of the Landsat Program. She aldo expanded the SPAN Network that was a key component in the Internet.
Also, I'm not sure if the Morse Code decoded as Walt's speech is a rumor (?) We were told it was a representation of the Announcement of when the Golden Spike was driven at Promontory Peak in 1869 when the Union Pacific and Central Pacific Railroads finally were connected to make the Transcontinental across the United States.
I try to get photos of Spaceship Earth in angles like the ones in your opening shots when I visit. You got so many cool outdoor shots in this video!
Nice.... this park has so much history.... original, it was going to be like a learning center, not really a theme park.... it was going to have different learning centers called satellites..... like spaceship earth ride..... a true classic.... they should make a "Rome is burning" scented candle.... ha ha..... like how you talked to yourself, funny segment.... how crazy would it be if they did a refurb and got rid of that clicking sound while the cars are moving...... miss the paper boy...... adding the lights to the ball was such a great idea.... Was it a wagon or sedan? My first car too when I was 16 until flipped it upside down Into a pond right behind Disney World a couple miles from the back employees entrance I was working there at the time It was all woods and Orange Groves behind it back then me and my friend swam out the window and we were fine but the car was totaled
@@magiccheeseball sedan mustard yellow lol glad you were ok! I had one of those musical horns put in and one day it played the funeral march non stop all the way home lol never will forget it!
@@pamelacaron54 that's funny those horns were fun I had one too on a Camaro I had in high school that played Dixie it was the same one as on Dukes of Hazzard even got it from the same place JC Whitney catalog I heard John Schneider say that's where they got the one for the General Lee car on his RUclips channel

I was stuck on spaceship earth for about an hour a couple weeks ago. They had to walk everyone off.
This ride needs some updating. Maybe a new voice over from Morgan Freeman? Half the time I ride it, the picture of your face in the video doesn't show or is distorted...
