I get that as consumers, leaks can be exciting, but as a developer i absolutely hate them. They ruin the surprise, theu ruin hard work, and worst of all that all trickles down throughout the various teams. It makes work discouraging.

I miss the day when you had to wait for a magazine like a game informer to see games and only got little info. No game play or had to wait for e3 for a preview of a game. You were excited. Now everyone has to leak info out, and when a game comes out, you basically senleb the whole game. It doesn't make it very fun anymore.
Pyoro and Midori are just like Romeo and Juilet because they were the last two beams of light in the leaking scene but then got exposed simultaneously for different reasons before descending to downfall.

I think there's a healthy place for exploring inside stories behind projects and getting a look at the process or 'what might have been' etc. That being said, no one should be taking this information by force; breaking into private servers or whatever.

Take all these remakes and remasters like Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, F-Zero GX, Kid Icarus Uprising, and Star Fox Assault for example, we’d hear about them, but have never showed up in a Direct. Would it be great to play them all on the Switch? Yes, but there is no real evidence backing it up. I’m convinced these were never real to begin with. Leakers who do predict things accurately like Nate the Hate who is an actual credible source, but I think I recall him not always being right. Leak culture is just misinformation some of the time. Pyoro unfortunately was too good to be true, it was a matter of time till someone cut off the source. TBH at this point, I really want to be surprised by everything instead of seeing stuff before the official reveal and I don’t want fake images. The latest Direct exceeded above my expectations because nothing was ruined ahead of time. I prefer enjoying big trailer and gameplay footage specially designed for the viewers. Seeing things for the 1st time with all your friends or roughly when they see things just builds on community which society is already losing in so many other entertainment mediums.

I will be getting the new console no doubt, but I hope future leaks doesn’t take us back to that level. Less than a year *the earliest* now and we just need to let Nintendo reveal it and launch titles (assuming the Big Mario)
TEZ2 is the only Trustworthy Leaker in the Rockstar Community from what I’ve seen yeah he looks on the back end from time and he’s open about it and there’s a few for Dragon Ball Games (Since Hype Got in trouble) but Midori and Pryoro I never trusted their opinions.
