I've been a die hard Duranie since 12 years old now 54 still a die hard Duranie seen um live 73 times worth every penny 👌👍👍👌 I luv all there music got favourite tracks to many to mention lol Duran Duran best band on planet earth 🌎🌍🌎
almost broke down and saw them over in Peattle, washington his end of May, but coulnd't break free.......at least i have DepecheMode in November also over in Peattle.
I love John because many people forget he co-founded the band, and the media barely gives him that credit to this day. Also him and Nick learned bass and synth themselves. My favorite album is Notorious. Every song is amazing on that album and Big Thing and Liberty don't get enough love.
Andy has been away from the band for more than a decade already. Yes, he was an important part of the band and all Durannies love him. But Duran Duran has actually become bigger recently, even without Andy Taylor. So no, Duran Duran is getting bigger now. But all Durannies are also concerned about Andy's situation
For me, Duran Duran have left an indelible mark on my life since early childhood-their music has danced, guided, comforted and inspired me, and I can't imagine what it would be like without them continuing to produce and perform music (Eek!). Favourite memories are meeting band members in the late 90's (in particular, Nick, who is the nicest person you could ever meet) spurring me on to produce a Fanzine for a while. Favourite song-hard to choose-perhaps The Chauffeur (specifically the Live Arena version) as I find it powerfully meditative-the keyboards/synth and Simon's voice come to the fore. Viva DD! 🐯
You are correct. Andy’s departure will do a number on the other members’ hearts. They will never recover from this. However, I believe they’ll continue releasing music as they slays have. They’re so British like that, business as usual. But again, what are you gonna do when a guy you’ve known since your early twenties is given a cancer diagnosis? No doubt crushing…
I love you guys and iseen yous in concert 1year and6months ago here in Toronto Canada at the molson place my sister and her boyfriend Joe bought me a ticket as an early birthday gift
Among my favorite Duran Duran song s. Is there something i should know. Is there anyone out there. Last chance on the stairway i am from Canada greetings to you Duran Duran from Andrew Robert skuta
Andy hasnt been in the band for about 18 years - in Durams 45 years hes only been a member for about 8 or so years - dont think this will affect the band too much.
Exactly. The phrase "will never recover from their latest tragedy" is nothing but click bait. I didn't even bother to watch the video, I knew this would be about Andy. Yes, he was an incredibly important part of their early sound, but he was a member of Duran Duran for a total of 11 of their 45 (so far) years. He played on 4 of their 15 albums (five, if you count the few guitar solos that made it on to the "Notorious" album.) Duran say they want to include him in some studio work to be released before the end of the year, but knowing how slow they record these days, and the fact that their current tour runs until September 2023.... I'll believe when I hear it.

Almost two decades!
Hope you're doing well now Andy.
I saw them in Jacksonville, Florida for "Seven and the Ragged Tiger". They rocked!

I found out that all the Taylors in the group are not related. But, they do actually resemble. They could well be distant cousins. You never know!

Andy not being in the band anymore is not affecting them! They are actually going stronger still touring and filling up arenas.
What are you talking about ? Andy left the band in 2006 and have released 4 albums since then
