Dean, Darley Moor is a fantastic place to learn. I used to paramotor from there back in 2015. The surrounding area is just so beautiful. You looked so happy at the end of the day. Andy and the team are such great instructors.
Hi Dean, I looked into doing this some years ago but never took it up then but fast forward some 8 years to last year and I decided Yes I would learn to fly. So I went on a paramotor training course, bought the gear and now 9 months later I have 41 flights, joined the BHPA and have gained my pilot rating. It is a very exhilarating sport. I have a few videos on my channel now. Sandy
Thanks for watching Sandy. Paramotoring looks amazing, I'd love to give it a try but I think I need to prioritise my hobbies first. I have to many demands on my cash at the moment (16 year old daughter). I saw one of you videos a few weeks before I went off to do this, absolutely fantastic. I worried that if I watch more I'll be too tempted :-) haha. All the best, Dean.
Looked a really enjoyable day Dean, I'd have a go attached to the cable but don't think i'm brave enough to go further than that, i'd be scared of blowing away! lol. Thanks for sharing ATB Ben
I remember my winch conversion course at Airways very fondly. As for costs I think I ended up spending about 5 grand on qualifying and all equipment so it's not as much as you might think to get airborne 😁
Thanks for watching Peter, lots of time and money needs investing before I could get to that stage. I think I need to prioritise my many hobbies :-) haha. All the best, Dean.
Great video Dean, looked like fun 😀 Been to darley moor loads of time throughout my life, but always to the race circuit next door to watch the motorbikes 🤣 I’m sure you’ll be launching off mam tor one day, and what an epic video that will make 😎 Thanks for sharing this great experience with us Atb Mark
Would love to get to that stage where I could launch of Mam For but haven't got the cash to invest just yet. I need to prioritise my many hobbies :-) hope you're doing well mate. All the best, Dean.
Awesome Dean you really do need a shed load of money for that hobby, my mate does it and he’s just got himself a paramotor I’d love a go on that LOL but they are thousands 🙈 here’s hoping for a lottery win mate 🤣👍
I'd love to go all the way with it but definitely have got that sort of money at the moment. Too many overseas adventures and a 16 year old daughter :-) haha. Hope you're well mate. All the best, Dean.
Dean Read Big fan of you and your Channel I've got I spare paraglider, in good condition I.e. Passed safety checks You can have it for free, just need a harness for it. If your not bothered about proper flying then you can use it for ground handling and small hops/flights. Maybe you can do a video with it. I can give you free training in a field. I was out on Saturday, during royal wedding and had place to myself. I live in Derbyshire and can meet up. Check my latest video Sheridan
Hi Dean loved the vid as always.I think Wiltshire Man sums this type of interest up.It took me 3 years, 4,500 GBP. A relentless determination despite set backs and snidy insulting comments from clueless yolkalls before I achieved 68 Skydive s and my B license with British Parachute Association. If you want to do it and Lisa does not mind the odd windy day with her boyfriend you will achieve this.

Looks like a well used runway. People liked the paraglide.
The runway was pretty busy, they have lots of planes and microlights based there. Thanks for watching
Very interesting Dean . Hope to see you soaring above The Mother Hill sometime soon . I’ll be holding the GoPro though on Terra firma.
