Forgot to mention in the video that update v69 has broken the Meta Quest Browser. It takes a long time to connect to the internet, regardless of whether you're using Wi-Fi or your phone's hotspot. It takes around 20sec+ to access any website.
Really? When I was on v68 an update was pushed for the Quest browser. Thought, it didn't update anything as it was borked. Once I got to v69 it seems fine till then. Let's see how it takes for a quick fix.
I like it, but it isn't without flaws. The new window layout feature in some ways can be counterintuitive. The two biggest flaws are that you still can't manage windows close to each other, and like with windows snap layout feature. With losing most if not all touch interactivity. I think the Quest Home UI desperately needs eye tracking. What do you think needs improvement/dislikes?
That's granted. I do think about this a lot. Apart from even more targeted ads and studying the user eye gaze, why stop there. Its pretty common knowledge that Meta isn't the most privacy centric company. Meta already collects as much information from the user it possibly can. The headsets cameras when powered on just about see everything. A feature added in v65 called Meta Visual Positioning System can almost paint an exact picture of your surroundings through point cloud data. Which this feature is opt-in first, but bet this will be required for all users eventually. I did a long project in my University about Meta, and what they're great at is that each year they will extend to collecting even more information on their users. I'm not necessarily on the boat of "you shouldn't care", but using's Meta's headset it has trade-offs. They're aren't just selling headsets from the goodness of their heart. Right now they kind of have to, but that all could change one day.

Nah. It was busted in v68 for me too.

Good video😊😀
Thanks 😁
The new window layout sucks
I wish they added a feature to have the old one
They took away the live button???
If you mean the live stream button in the camera app, it's still there. Just checked.
@@sixtacos mines gone 😢
I actually don't like the window layout.
Your irrelevant

@@sixtacos I find eye tracking creepy. I actually wouldn't want that to be added.
