I'm actually a BVB Fan but parts of my family (uncle and cousin) are Gladbach Fans so i've been there with them, at the last game back in 2004 at Bökelberg. Kept a bit of grass from the ground and planted it in my parents garden.

Love what they did with the grounds! Did not know how much silverware Monchengladbach actually has. Big fan of stickering and love that the ultras use them as calling cards in German football

First time i was there was in 2002 or 2003. This was the only time i watched a game at Bökelberg. Last time is a couple years ago it was amazing.

Amazing atmosphere back in 97 when I saw them draw 1-1 with Bayern Munich. Former Mönchengladbach legend Lothar Matthäus playing sweeper for Bayern. Cool city too

When you mentioned the old Schalke ground in Gelsenkirchen it reminded me of Euro 88 match between Rep of Ireland and Holland which was played there. Ireland narrowly beaten 1-0
