I just wanted to tell you that I made these yesterday. Yes, on Thanksgiving, no practice time. I had your amazing tutorial playing, I followed every step as you patiently talked me through it. These were a hit. All my kids took home a baggie of them. I grew up in a small family. No grandparents, no aunts or uncles, no cousins. Both my parents have passed. I have maybe 5 recipes from my mother and my dad's mom. So, I do a recipe search on line for tips. I came across you and felt like God sent me a 'mother-grandmother' . Thank you for your loving approach to cooking!! You should teach a cooking class!! I hope your table was surrounded by family and friends.
LIstennnnnnnnnn people. I just turned 20. Male nursing student helping my mom through cancer. We did these things--as she would say. They were delicious! 4 of us ate 100% gone. You are the grandma I wanted...thanks for teaching me this.
I absolutely love how you completely explain every single step and leave nothing out. Thank you so very much for your patience and your guidance and your expertise.
Your videos are perfect! No extra fluff, no slow drawn out nonsense, no annoying background music. Just you doing what you do so well. Please keep the videos coming! ❤️
So. My Mom in Law, God rest her sweet soul. Gave me a recipe about 30yrs ago for Refrigerator rolls. They were nice n fluffy like yours but of course made totally different! So, hers not only favored these but, we're a bit sweeter. Is there some way to make these a bit sweeter? Or do you have another recipe that is a bit sweeter?! I am trying hard to find something similar because my recipe burned in our house fire and I totally forgot how to make em. Also, my mixer died. Is there another way to mix em without it? Thanks so much. And, thank you for sharing this recipe my family would Love!!!
I just found this channel and this recipe look great 👍. I just can't understand why there are so many dislikes 👎! She is well spoken, she explains everything she does before and while she does each step. There is no unnecessary time, as she has edited out the waiting times, but tells you how long each wait was. She wears gloves while preparing these rolls, and even uses a fork to pull 2 out of the pan to put on a plate to show to texture of the rolls. These look great, and I will definately be giving these a try! Thank you so much for this wonderful, detailed tutorial on how to make your dinner rolls! Many blessings to you and your family! 🙂💜
What's to dislike? They are dinner rolls... 😋. Maybe the ones disliking this don't eat bread. Maybe they doing keto or something and trying to syke themselves out by disliking this video to truck their minds that bread and rolls taste awful. 😂
Perhaps when scrolling, the thumbs down was hit by accident. I’d like to think it is unintentional and an honest mistake. I can’t WAIT to try this method!👍🏻
Chris: Thank you. I am a life long bread maker; these rolls are unsurpassed. The best dinner rolls I've baked or tasted. For the past year, I've been making these for the holidays and in between. I may as well toss all my old dinner roll recipes out!
after my mom passed, Sunday dinners didn't happen again until 2 years later, her recipe was lost, I wanted to continue her cooking style, I followed this to a tee, it came out so perfect and everyone loved them, thank you for helping me bring back her cooking style
Thank you ma'am for speaking slow and explaining every detail on how to make your delicious rolls. I will be waiting for your next cooking demonstration. God bles
This is how my grandma made her rolls . I watched her as a little girl make them . She passed away 29 years ago this September. I have been making these for about 25 years on and off . Never really remembering the exact way how she made her roll balls !! Thank you so much for your tips ! I’ll make them this thanksgiving! Hope you and your family have a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🍁🦃
You won't be sorry. I just pulled mine out of the oven and they are to die for. They are literally the best rolls I've ever tasted. My husband and 41 year old son agreed. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving❣️👍
My grandma could make great bread and cinnamon rolls to die for! Unfortunately, I never paid attention to her while she made them. I know there is a technique to making them. Thank you so much for your precise teaching so this 70 old woman can make this delicious treat.
I absolutely love your specific directions. The size of the pan, the time for each task in the recipe, even down to what part of your hand you should use. Phenomenal.
Also wanted to tell you, I made these for Thanksgiving. I have made them in the past and truly loved them. This year, my 11 year old grand daughter asked if she could take some home with her, because "they were absolutely delicious". Not a greater compliment! Thank You!
It's such a blessing to prepare mouthwatering items like this for our loved ones! This is the stuff our grandchildren will mention when they think of times spent with us around our table... God Bless and Protect you and yours! Tana
You know she's a wonderful cook when she brings out those large containers of flour and sugar. These rolls are the same my great grandma and grandma made.
Made your recipe today for our Easter Dinner. I was lucky enough to have my hubby, son, his lady, and my granddaughter here. They have been living with us during this difficult time in the world. The rolls were a HUGE success! They were so easy to make and came out perfect, so soft and fluffy. And I did a single batch and we have some leftovers for later with our ham. Can't wait for that later tonight. Thanks again for the great recipe tutorial!
I love the feeling I get when watching these videos. It’s like I’m standing right in front of her and she’s talking just to me like she was my mom😍 thanks Chris💜
Awesome , I realy enjoyed watched your video. You take time to explain clearly and its like being in the kitchen with you. Very nice warm feeling. Thank You. I intend on making some of your wonderful dinner rolls. It made me realy want to.try my hand at it. . With your very excellent instruction, I am sure they will be great. Thanks again.
I have been attempting a good yeast roll recipe for years and they always fall short, there is definitely a technique to it so I am going to try this step by step and I appreciate such a long tutorial because these small steps are very important. I am soooooo grateful for this video because you never see any of the cooks on TV do anything remotely close to this and we all know this is a must have for the Holidays. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
We just finished the recipe and it is fantastic, you won't be disappointed. This was our first attempt at bread and I have to say, it turned out so good!
I have been looking for this for years...OMG! She is the only black lady left that make these rolls like my great grandma used to make for our family😍 They were AMAZING😍
Thank you for posting this. I found my grandmothers recipe folded up in her bible and watched her make it without one all my life. She has passed now so I had no one to teach me. She had no instructions wrote only the ingredients. It makes me feel so blessed to have found the recipe she used and be able to continue to make the rolls we grew up eating. God bless you. Happy holidays ♥️
My Mom was the one who always baked the family rolls that were passed down from my great grandmother too. Last year we found out she has dementia. It has progressed to the point where she can't prepare a meal. I found this post for help and read your post. It touched my heart. I hope you have great success with your rolls. Bless you and Happy Thanksgiving.
This is to Marilyn and to DeAnn, as well to others who are connecting this recipe from older generations. Marilyn, God bless you and thank you for sharing your story. I lost my Granny decades ago, she's with me in my heart and thoughts. I shed more than a few tears in thinking of both of our Grandmothers. On reading this from you, I realized how fortunate it was for you to find this folded up and tucked away in her Bible. God bless Momma Chris for her excellent skills, sharing the recipe and giving of herself in step by step detailed instructions. I kept thinking of the importance of passing this on to all of your and your Grandmother's family and loved ones. Due to much used recipes getting soiled, I started redoing mine years back on large sized index cards and then I used my 'Go-To' for book coverings, a good high quality Contact Paper. ( This is my 'Go-To' one that I love: ) Con-Tact Brand Creative Covering Self-Adhesive Semi-Transparent Privacy Film Protective Vinyl and Shelf Liner, 18" x 60', Clear Matte ). If a spill, it's wiped away clean, looking as it did on the first day! Sorry this is already way long. Now it will be a book! I thought take your Grandmother's folded up paper, exactly as it was penned! Make copies of it on typing paper, allowing for a decent margin around it. Then cover each one with the Con-Tact paper. Oh! Do cut the Con-Tact paper at double the size needed, clip off corners, creasing the edges and folding to the center of the backside, covering it all. This will give it substance, but more importantly, it will be waterproof and lasting! In the upper left corner, use a hole punch on it. Then run a length of ribbon through it and knot the end. Thin ribbon of red or green, or a ribbon of each would be great, knotting it as one. Give this to be as a Christmas Tree Ornament to hang. It would be nice on a gift, along side the bow and name tag. It's a yearly sentimental memory, reminder of holidays long past, the generations of love and the making of great homemade, fresh, hot dinner rolls! Obviously, you would share this recipe link for the real bakers, those wanting to carry it forward, making it their own well used recipe.
@@deannwalker4400 DeAnn, my heart goes out to you. My Father had this for many years. It is heart breaking. This February will be two years since his crossing over. I seriously believe we were meant to find this particular recipe from Chris. I had read Marilyn's comment and followed reading your own. Cherish all, hold tightly to the past and be accepting of everyday, as it comes.
This is how my mom made rolls and I lost her a few years ago and never got her recipe so I'm so thankful for you sharing. God bless you and your family :)
I made these yesterday for Friends-giving, and they were a hit! Thank you!! Your tutorial was so complete and thorough there was no way for me to mess it up. My rolls weren't as pretty as yours however I chalked that up to experience, and figured I will get the hang of getting them all the right size at some point. However they were delicious! I made the double batch and wouldn't you know it, not a single roll was left! I'm looking forward to trying again at Christmas!! Thanks again!!
My Mom will be 90 on Dec. 1st., she bakes bread about every month just for herself. She won't eat store bought bread. Watching you makes me feel as i'm watching her bake her bread. It took her about 5 hrs start to finish. Sure wish i was there. Thank you Mrs Chris for the memory. I'm giving Mom your recipe ... i'm sure she will love it.
This was my first venture into baking bread. This recipe and the directions was absolutely amazing and on point. My family love love love the rolls. They also looked beautiful. Lovely lady you are a godsend to first time bakers. Blessings to all that you do
I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your recipe and expertise. Your video was extremely helpful. You are a natural teacher. I made these for my family this past Thanksgiving and they were a hit! Thank you again. I hope you and your family are staying well. Thanks!
I have this bookmarked. I love to cook and Im trying to learn how to bake breads and rolls. My mom passed away two years ago and she was an awesome cook. I miss her soooo much. I am now living with my sister and brother and all three of us are disabled. I am trying to bring back good memories to this home by cooking for all of us and bringing good aromas into this home through baking. These look super good and they look so pretty and uniform. I can do a lot of cooking and baking sitting down as I cant stand for over 5 minutes at a time. God bless you. You are awesome!!!
My grandma/grandfather were bakers. My Mom too! This reminds me of Moms Sunday rolls. I thought couldn’t. But your easy , thorough explanation. Has given me courage to try! God bless!!
I have one recipe of my mother. She wasn't very good at sharing. In fact I learned the basics of cooking at school. Otherwise I would never have been able to boil water. She never knew I took classes in cooking, baking and sewing. My first class was in elementary school. We made cookies of course. Our teacher said our team cookies tasted, looked and were nice textured and got top points toward our grade. Took a few home. My mother kind of laugh and said you call these cookies. My brother grab one and said they tasted good and grab the rest. I always remembered that. After that I never took anything home. I definitely never used her kitchen. Her way of teaching was to tell you get a little bit of this and a little bit of that without really letting you watch. So why bother. She had no idea I could sew til I asked my father for a sewing machine. Our school was selling theirs real cheap at the end of the year. So my dad said yes. By then I had been sewing about three years. But anything I made for myself like a skirt or blouse I said my friend's gave me. Just easier that way I figured.
I'm so excited! I've never attempted any kind of homemade bread before and these came out perfect! I followed every step, and it all worked out exactly as you showed. I was so proud of these beautiful dinner rolls that I almost didn't want anyone to touch them! They are definitely a hit in my house and I will be doubling the recipe next time! Thank you!
These rolls are not just Thanksgiving table worthy, but any day of the week you want to blow your family member’s minds with the smell of these rolls baking and then the buttery tops! One bite into this fluffy, soft , sweet dinner roll and you are in Heaven😋 This will be my only dinner roll recipe from now on! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! 😁
My grandmother passed when i was 18 years old and she was an amazing cook. One of my biggest regrets is that i never paid attention in the kitchen with her. Your videos make me feel like i'm getting the teaching i would've gotten if she were still here. ❤❤❤❤ Thank you!!!!
Thank you so very much! I wrote the recipe down as you mentioned each item and I think I might be able to make these rolls! Your directions were clear and helpful! Thank you so much!
Thank you, Ms. Chris! I made several of your recipes for Thanksgiving. I made these best ever dinner rolls, the Pineapple Upside-down cake, the homemade dressing, and your Apple Dumplings. Your recipes were very good and tasty. It was my first time EVER make rolls of any kind, and it was very easy. You gave clear and easy instructions. Your Channel is my favorite and my go to channel whenever I want to try a new recipe or learn something new. My hat goes off to you. May God continue to bless you. Much love to you!
Update: Oh MY....... Look EVERYONE I swear I made this exactly how she said. And my family loved, loved, loved them. I was on the hunt for a recipe because last year for Thanksgiving and believe me when I say no store had brown n serve biskets. Well this is our new regular bread Beyond happy I found a jewel thank you Miss Chris happy holidays...
Forgot to say thank you maam it was a great presentation! I've been making rolls a long time and never saw the tuck technique before. I will use it for sure this Thanksgiving!
Hello, I made these yeast rolls last night for a pot luck meeting I had today. When I tell you they went over so well. Everyone LOVED them. Thanks so much.
I made these last night as directed with a slight difference in creating the ball sizes. Took that method from someone else. They were perfect. So delicious. This is a keeper recipe for sure. The dough being sticky was strange to work with, but the results were great. Thank you for sharing. I did a single batch and got 15.
Tried this recipe last Christmas for our family dinner.. everyone loved them! They are now my go to recipe! They freeze well too! Making a batch right now for my grandkids for dinner.
I made these over the weekend and they turned out beautiful. I love to make everything I can from scratch. Been cooking 40 of the 48 years I have been alive
Oh my dear Lord, you just saved my life. I had lost a wonderful recipe that I had last year, but after watching yours, I think they will turn out even better. The dough is in my oven getting the first rise (it's warm in there). I'm so excited to go through the next steps and hopefully end up like yours. God bless you...
This recipe is very similar to my mom’s recipe, and I can attest that it is amazing. The danger of presenting these rolls is that they will be expected of you forever. One of our friend’s hosts parties regularly. When his elderly father knows we are attending, he sits wringing his hands until I arrive, hoping I bring these. I can’t let him down, so I always deliver! Chris, you are a gem! Great teacher. God bless you!
Thank you for this step by step recipes! I made my first homemade rolls on Thanksgiving. They didn’t look like yours but they were good and nothing left except two for the next day. So now I am making some more to try again. Will see how they come out. Your step by step remind me of my grandmother’s roll. Thank you again!
I've used your recipes and loved it! I made some dinner rolls for Thanksgiving AND a loaf of bread for turkey sandwiches the next day. It makes a great loaf of bread as well as dinner rolls.
Just seeing these, brought me back to when I was 16 year's old. I was never around my grandparents, but a few times. But I had always watched my mom an sister bake and cook. When I took a job with with about 3 older women. The one lady, always cooked the special thing's. I loved her cooking. I asked her to teach me how to make these rolls. So she took me under her wing an taught me many recipes. Thank you for bringing her love through your post. God bless your hands and you and your family. My God supply all of your needs, an keep you in good health. Thank You ❤️
CHRIS! I'm BAAAAACCKKK!!!!! Another year another batch of your amazing dinner rolls!!! Everyone in the family knows you because every year I pull up and re-watch this video to make my rolls!! Happy Thanksgiving Miss Chris and thank you again for this recipe!!
I have lived in my car for the last 3 years. You made me remember how to do SOMTHING like this, now that I finally got an apartment. I love you, and thank you for saying " if you don't have plastic wrap." Love you.
Not sure if you will see this, this is an older video but I just come across your channel and saw these last night, 11/15/23 and did a pan to try and hopefully be good for next week, and thank you for this, they were awesome. This is a perfect recipe. My Thanksgiving table will be better with these rolls.
I know this video is a year old; but just stumbled across your channel and watched the dinner rolls and dressing tutorials. Love them and although I have been cooking for 40+ years and am considered a good cook by most (not bragging....lolol) I am def. going to incorporate your techniques and guidelines for Thanksgiving. You bring back the enthusiasm for the kitchen to me Ms. Chris! Thanks for all of the time, work and input into helping us become better cooks! God bless!
I'm a nurse who used to bake yeast bread but my job became more and more demanding, so I stopped because I just didn't have the time. After all of these years I'm now retired and couldn't wait to begin making quality breads again! I found your recipe and I'm going to give it a whirl today! I used to teach nursing....and I complement you. You are a great teacher! I can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve. I too love to cook good food for friends and family! Thank you!
I made these rolls for my Thanksgiving dinner, everyone thought they were so good. Never will I buy rolls from the store again. And they were easy to make. Thanks Ms Chris.
That was one of the most excellent how to videos I have ever seen! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time and effort to post this.
Just yesterday I was feeling sad that I never learned how Ms. Mary Beard made her perfectly delicious dinner rolls. Then today I see this! She guided me right to you!
SUCH A SWEETHEART! I COULD WATCH U ALL DAY. I just made my hubby watch this video with me and we we're salivating like crazy. I've NEVER seen buns made so well and look so DELICIOUS You explain everything perfectly.I wish I was part of your family....lol They are very LUCKY so have you. Not only can you cook mama but you seem to have a heart of gold. So Great to see that there are still good people in this world. Peace & Love From a French girl in TORONTO
You remind me so much of my aunts which is a very good thing. My aunts are excellent cooks and I love learning from them. But since I’ve moved away I can’t get with them like I used to. Watching your videos give me such joy and happiness like I’m watching my aunts in the kitchen. Can’t wait to try these rolls
Hey Chris, these look like the dinner rolls I've always WANTED to make! Oh gosh, do they EVER look good !!! Thanks SO VERY MUCH for showing us the way. I can't adequately express my appreciation, but know that ALL OF US OUT HERE really do LOVE watching your channel & learning how to do it the TASTY way !!! Thanks again.
Hey Chris just wanted to mention an observation l made here in these comments, have you noticed how many men are following you and getting into this one recipe? I sure wish l had a man unintimadated at making these dinner rolls, and a lot of us women were afraid to try before you gave us this excellent tutorial! Kudos sister. God bless you, keep on teaching us all your favorite recipes. You have gained our attention by your sweet manner, cleanness and excellent speaking voice, sweet sister ❤♥💕
Thank you so much for teaching me how to make yeast rolls for the first time (I'm 73). I was successful on my first try, and this will be the recipe that I use in the future. You are a born teacher, and I look forward to more of your videos. Thanks again!💕
I love this channel. The way you walk people through recipes you can’t go wrong. Hopefully i can make this very soon. The stores where I live hardly sell dinner rolls until the holidays and I love dinner rolls with certain meals throughout the year. I wanted dinner rolls today but they didn’t have any at the store my husband went to so I was trying to see if I had ingredients and time to make a small batch but I’d definitely have to get yeast. Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to try them
This is my momma's recipe to the tee unfortunately she have passed away before I ever got exact measurements from her and I could never make them until this morning. Praise God! Thank you for sharing your talent with those. You are amazing;
UPDATE: 👋🏽Hey @chriscook4u2! YASSSS! Everything you said and more!❤️ As mentioned, I made 1 loaf and about 18 rolls with the doubled recipe. Even with my recipe modifications, my loaf stayed soft throughout the week - i kept it out on my kitchen counter in a plastic loaf container. The rolls i froze, once thawed, they remained soft and flavorful. Better than store-bought because the only preservatives are salt and sugar. Thanks for sharing this.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I just found you this past week, and boy was I missing out. I made these dinner rolls for Sunday dinner, they were perfect and delicious. Easier than I thought. Of course I had YOU on my tablet in the kitchen with me. I followed you step by step. You really explain everything. I was afraid to handle the yeast, but you made it easy. I would recommend this recipe to any one . I am a senior (70), and used my kitchen aid dough hook. I will try them again for Thanksgiving. At the end I brushed them with melted butter and on half of the rolls I sprinkled Italian seasoning. Yum! You are my new Best friend, Thanks again ! :)
Chris I’ve cooked many of your recipes these are wonderful and I’m 72 was always afraid to make bread you are a wonderful teacher hey do one on homemade buttermilk biscuits love your videos
Oh gurl, sweet lady ! Where have u been all of my married life? You are an excellent teacher! I'll be making this recipe soon! You're a "winner"! Keep your recipes coming!😘
Your rolls looked perfect! I am very interested in the directions that you shared. I have made many yeast rolls and bread, but never mixed the ingredients like this. It seems so easy, and I am looking forward to following your recipe and directions! I enjoyed your video, the information you gave, and the way it was presented. Thank you so much!
I made these rolls for the last 4 year's. My family and friends rave about them. They are now made ever Thanksgiving dinner and on Christmas when on demand 😋😋😋😎😎😎😎
Amazing tutorial so glad you explained everything so clearly especially rolling and shaping the bread rolls. I have learned so much. Thank you for taking the time and care to help us to become better cook's.
Thanks for the recipe, just took a batch out of the oven and they are delicious. I shaped a few of the dough balls into hamburger buns. This will definitely be my go to dinner roll and hamburger bun recipe. The only adjustment I made was the cooking time because my oven cooks a bit fast so I cooked at 375° for about 15mins.
Tip...To determine if active yeast as expired (or it’s close to expiration) take a teaspoon of sugar and add to yeast and warm water after its dissolved for a few minutes. if it bubbles, its active and ready to use. You do not need to test unexpired yeast. And by adding sugar it’s not going to interfere with rising of dough. Also if you use instant yeast you can by pass the dissolving of water and active yeast (all known as proofing) And rolls will rise faster. You can try either one they both work and the package comes with instructions. Good luck.
I just wanted to tell you that I made these yesterday. Yes, on Thanksgiving, no practice time. I had your amazing tutorial playing, I followed every step as you patiently talked me through it. These were a hit. All my kids took home a baggie of them.

Because of such hateful people in the mean world! She’s a beautiful lady!!❤️
You’re right!! This woman is an excellent teacher.

How do I ask her for a good shortbread recipe?

My exact thoughts when I saw those big tubs!!! Looks like she feeds anyone and everyone whose hungry. I can feel her warm heart from here
Made these for thanksgiving today. They were the talk of the table. Thank you for this recipe, best rolls I’ve ever made hands down

Worthy comment . . Making these for Easter to go with our Ham n Turkey!
I am making them now.
I have been looking for this for years...OMG! She is the only black lady left that make these rolls like my great grandma used to make for our family😍 They were AMAZING😍
Hello how are you doing?
( This is my 'Go-To' one that I love: )
Con-Tact Brand Creative Covering Self-Adhesive Semi-Transparent Privacy Film Protective Vinyl and Shelf Liner, 18" x 60', Clear Matte ).

DeAnn, my heart goes out to you.
You are the best right along with my grandmas cooking. Wish she was still beside me but now I have you. Thank you so much.
This is how my mom made rolls and I lost her a few years ago and never got her recipe so I'm so thankful for you sharing. God bless you and your family :)

So sorry for your lost, and I hope you can make yummy biscuits for your family now 💖💯
Hello Dee how are you doing today?
Thank you, my grandma made these every Sunday. I didn't get the recipe. Thank you so very much, what a Blessing! Absolutely grateful.
There is nothing like fresh homemade yeast rolls. Takes a little extra time but everything that is good is always worth waiting for.

I made these today and let me tell you: Miss Chris is laying some truth on you about these being the best! I’m so glad I found you Miss Chris! 🙏
I am glad you found me too. So happy you trusted one of my videos for your family. Stay safe and Happy Holidays.
Happy holidays to you as well Miss Chris! I’ve been watching your channel. You are a treasure! Thank you for your culinary wisdom ❤️
Another holiday, another success. These rolls stand the test of season after season. Blessings to you Miss Chris!
Thank you!
So did I and they came out great each time. This is going to be my 4 time since thanksgiving!

Fantastic. Congratulations on your success in making these rolls
Made these today and omg they came out so good. Everyone loved them. Definitely saving this recipe
These rolls are not just Thanksgiving table worthy, but any day of the week you want to blow your family member’s minds with the smell of these rolls baking and then the buttery tops! One bite into this fluffy, soft , sweet dinner roll and you are in Heaven😋
This will be my only dinner roll recipe from now on! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! 😁
Auntie!!!! I saw her hands and knew these rolls were going to be everything!!! I'm gonna try my hand at these for Christmas.
My grandmother passed when i was 18 years old and she was an amazing cook. One of my biggest regrets is that i never paid attention in the kitchen with her. Your videos make me feel like i'm getting the teaching i would've gotten if she were still here. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!!!

I love this recipe roll was so delicious !!!!

Hi what kind of flour did you happen to use?
@@EndisYve it is all-purpose flour
Update: Oh MY....... Look EVERYONE I swear I made this exactly how she said. And my family loved, loved, loved them. I was on the hunt for a recipe because last year for Thanksgiving and believe me when I say no store had brown n serve biskets. Well this is our new regular bread Beyond happy I found a jewel thank you Miss Chris happy holidays...
got one question, was the butter room temp or cold when you added it to the milk?
@@DivaMajestic it was room temp but it really don't matter since ur gonna put it in warm milk
Forgot to say thank you maam it was a great presentation! I've been making rolls a long time and never saw the tuck technique before. I will use it for sure this Thanksgiving!
What type of flour did you use for these rolls, all purpose or self rising?
@@silvanero all purpose flour
Sweet lady miss chris you have the most wonderful rescipe i made them today they are delious thank you god bless
You’re a beautiful spirit. Thank you for teaching us who want to learn.❤️

Hello how are you doing today?
This recipe is very similar to my mom’s recipe, and I can attest that it is amazing. The danger of presenting these rolls is that they will be expected of you forever. One of our friend’s hosts parties regularly. When his elderly father knows we are attending, he sits wringing his hands until I arrive, hoping I bring these. I can’t let him down, so I always deliver!
Chris, you are a gem! Great teacher. God bless you!
OK, You got me. I know they will be good, so I will make them.
Hi what kind of flour did you happen to use?
All purpose flour works great for this. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Yes this is my mother's recipe (born in 1923) she never scared with me. Thanks so much!
Thank You ❤️
What a wonderful tutorial. I made these rolls Sunday evening and they were perfect!!! Thanks for sharing. You’re an awesome teacher😀

I have lived in my car for the last 3 years. You made me remember how to do SOMTHING like this, now that I finally got an apartment. I love you, and thank you for saying " if you don't have plastic wrap." Love you.
I made these and they are PERFECT! My home smelled so good! Thank you so much for sharing! ❤
So I did make these eight months ago, as I had posted. Man!!!! they were perfect. best recipe ever.!! thank you !!!

Thank you!
I followed the recipe and it turned out perfectly. The rolls are truly light and flakey.

Hello how are you doing today
I love this channel. The way you walk people through recipes you can’t go wrong. Hopefully i can make this very soon. The stores where I live hardly sell dinner rolls until the holidays and I love dinner rolls with certain meals throughout the year. I wanted dinner rolls today but they didn’t have any at the store my husband went to so I was trying to see if I had ingredients and time to make a small batch but I’d definitely have to get yeast. Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to try them
This is my momma's recipe to the tee unfortunately she have passed away before I ever got exact measurements from her and I could never make them until this morning. Praise God! Thank you for sharing your talent with those. You are amazing;
Thanks for sharing this.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I have got to try this ! Miss my mom's home made Rolls, thanks for sharing a lovely recipe!
Hey! What degree did you set your oven to??
My mom use to make these rolls when I was growing up. So delicious! Perfect rolls😋. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

I made my first homemade rolls this morning following this recipe🥰Thank you! They came out great😋
Amazing tutorial so glad you explained everything so clearly especially rolling and shaping the bread rolls.
Thank you for your videos. I love your enthusiasm and how you walk through every detail. Your awesome 😊
Good luck.
Help I only have Rapid Rise Yeast packets. Any tips? because she used regular Yeast. Also to make a double recipe do I double her recipe listed?
